Murder Minute - True Crime

Gruesome and scary true crime stories that will keep you up at night! This is not for the faint of heart. Murder Minute stories are detailed and contain photos of crime scenes, victims and serial killers. All of our stories are thoroughly researched and 100% true. Our writers are respectful of the victims and do not glorify or condone violence but be warned that some of these stories are very disturbing.

Maybe you are intrigued by the psychology of serial killers? Or maybe you want to know how they operate so you can make sure you and your loved ones don’t become victims? Murder Minute adjusts to your preferences and contains great stories with uncensored photos and videos for anyone with an interest in true crime.

Some examples of stories (you will get hooked):

Edmund Kemper
A 6'9" tall, 250 pound serial killer with an IQ of 145. Edmund Kemper murdered multiple women in the most gory way possible. He has lately been put in the spotlight after being featured in the TV show Mindhunter.

The Sacramento Vampire
Richard Chase had an unquenchable thirst for blood. Literally. He believed Nazis were turning his blood into powder and to survive he had to replace it. To do this he made smoothies of blood, guts and gore.

BTK: Bind, Torture, Kill
Dennis Rader was a married, normal seeming man but he murdered numerous women and children over decades and the people around him didn’t have a clue. He took pictures of himself posing with his victims’ corpses, sometimes wearing masks or bondage outfits... super creepy. He thought himself an evil mastermind but was finally arrested after sending clues to the police.

The murder of Junko Furuta
The cruel torture and murder of a Japanese school girl was so monstrous that it is almost unbelievable. Almost as chilling is the fact that all of her torturers were teenagers.

Elizabeth Bathory
The Blood Countess is rumored to have bathed in the blood of hundreds of young girls she had brutally tortured and murdered. Is it as legend state; that she bathed in the blood of virgins to maintain her youth, or is she the innocent victim of a conspiracy.

Other famous (or rather infamous) murderers and cases include:
• Ted Bundy
• Broken Arrow
• Charles Manson
• Pedro Lopez (the monster of the Andes)
• YNW Melly
• The Zodiac Killer
• The Golden State Killer

Great story telling and fact telling. I enjoy the fact that I can tap and read the story at my own pace and not miss anything if I have to go take a break. I don't have to worry about listening 🎧 to anything or paying attention to "watching" a video or being interrupted. Super convenient! And entertaining. And I enjoy hearing of actual New cases and not about all the ones I've already heard about over and over.

I have had this app for a while. I have loved it but after 175 stories they stopped coming in. Even when I get someone someone download the app and sign up, I don't get a free story. I've tried deleting and redownloading and still hit a wall. Other than it stopping its been fantastic. Had it continued I would give 5 stars. If it resumes I'll update my review. So far it's been over 3 months without a new story.

Some of the stories were exceptionally well written, although some of the sentences were often incomplete, leaving me to to guess what the rest of it was. There was more media like videos and pictures that made it immersive. However, after a while, the daily stories stopped coming. The app kept saying "next story tomorrow" for weeks on end with no new story.

I really enjoy the stories, and there are a lot of them. 2 problems. First, when you pay for the premium service you get 2 stories /day, thats it. When I let the trial run out I found that the free version lets you watch ads to unlock more, that isn't part of premium. If you're paying $1.99/week you should get all features of the free plus more. Second, when I had premium, the app ran smoothly. The free version is plagued with force closes and freezing, but its not worth it to upgrade IMO

I enjoy the stories however splitting them up into episodes is not conducive to a fluid story. I dont think it's good to split one story up into 2 or more episodes over the course of several days. I'm not going to purchase an upgrade just to see the end and by splitting them up, it really makes me want to uninstall. Additionally, the text moves itself while you are reading which makes for an annoying experience.

I've had to change my rating to 4 stars. While I love this app's content, there are too many problems with glitches. Especially when it gives you a choice to pick either more details or continue on with the story. If you can overlook these issues, I would still def recommend this app. The stories are interesting. You can customize the types of stories you get. It's the perfect app for waiting @ the bus stop, Dr.'s office, etc. I still get excited every morning to get my new story.

This would be better if it wasn't in text format. Also would be better if there were complete sentences too. Stories are intriguing, but I get notifications and if I don't get to it right away, I don't have that story to read. Recently the app stopped allowing default set to dark reader, resulting in having to reset every time it's opened. This app just keeps getting worse.

I love it. I read it as soon as i wake up. But in every story theirs one paragraph or sentence that get completely cut off at the end. Also it seems like once you get to the middle of the story it just rushes you through without much more information or detail. I want a play by play from start to finish that way i don't have to keep Googling more information about to get all the juicy parts this left out. Also yall should do unsolved missing persons cases and unexplainable phenomenal. 🤙

It gives all the details that you should know and it gives you options about whether you want all the story or just the facts. I love that it gives so many options on how we can customize it. It's really great that it doesn't just show you a full paragraph on useless facts and the texting style is a great choice because it gives us something creative instead of just clicking on different links or doing something different and losing where you were previously. Overall it's a great app.

Really like this app as it presents a range of real life stories, some of which the majority of people will not have heard of. Overall the app is OK, it is occasionally a bit glitchy where some stories only get to halfway down the page and then appear to cut off but it hasn't impacted my ability to read the story. Would rate higher however I've been disappointed recently by the app as there has not been an update for roughly a week with no explanation

I truly enjoy reading these stories, and having the option to skip certain parts that I may have previously heard or something is a great feature. The only downside is only 1 story a day. I want more and hate waiting. You can unlock more by having friends download the app, but no one will. I like being able to read what I want when I want.

Easy to follow & go through. I read it during breaks & it holds your place. All you do is tap anywhere on the screen for the next "text bubble". And the photos & videos are a great addition, you tap to enlarge & you can see all the details. So easy, & with real photos, incident reports, & videos, we get to know the whole truth. Really great app! Plus so easy to navigate!

Only giving 3 stars because once you start reading some of the pop up sentences are cut off, where you know there's more too it. Tapping the screen thinking it will continue all it does is go to the next paragraph and not continue the broken sentence from previous. Other than that great app and great stories. Just would be nice to actually read most of it without it being cut out

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP! Sadly I went for almost a month with a glitch or something so didn't receive my daily story. I emailed the technical support and never got an email back sadly. So who knows. But over while it lasted the stories were amazing, especially ones that let you choose to go on or skip the details. The longer stories are the best for daily reads. Sometimes, sadly the daily stories are to short which is a bummer. But if the glitch gets fixed I'll give a 5 star rating.

Love the app! I love how customizable it is and the ability to set the level of gruesome details to your own personal preference. It gets a 5th star for the ability to select how detailed the stories are. Having ADHD, I don't care for lengthy details. I just want the facts. That's a great option, I only wish it had more pictures. Also, it would be great to have the option of selecting your favorite authors so you can avoid those you dislike. Otherwise, perfect app!
