Muscle and Motion Anatomy

Muscle&Motion – Anatomy
An equally powerful instrument for academic instruction, institutional / workplace training, personal tutorials, and self-learning, the "Muscle&Motion
- Anatomy" app is a dynamic teaching aid for practitioners, instructors, and students of:

- Sports Medicine - Kinesiology - Physical, Occupational and Chiropractic Therapies.
- Anatomy

Easily accessed and navigated, the "Muscle&Motion
- Anatomy" app is exceedingly efficient as a reference source in applied professional settings. With more than 2000 high-quality videos, using 3D models and vivid illustrations, this app is a uniquely effective educational tool for promoting:

• intradisciplinary or interdisciplinary learning;• macro and micro analyses of, and within, isolated anatomical/physiological systems;• integrative comprehension of the mechanisms and functional interactions that create bodily motion.

The knowledge sets contained in the learning modules are hierarchically organized, while allowing for non-linear presentation in interactive instructional settings; each module offers detailed subject-focused knowledge, augmented by broader multi systemic visuals and clarifications. Featured Resources

The "Muscle&Motion
- Anatomy" app features four thematic learning modules. Each module provides subject relevant terminology, theory and explanations – introduced and contextualized using 3D rotatable images and multi-angle 3D animations.

The 4 Learning Modules: 1) 3D Anatomy of the Muscular System • A complete and detailed animated viewing of the physical structure of the human muscular system, including all muscle groups and individual muscles, their positions and parts – insertions, origins, and the joints upon which they act.• The antagonistic, synergetic and stabilizing functions of specific muscles in producing specific movements.2) 3D Anatomy of the Skeletal SystemA full articulation of the skeletal system and its constituent parts. Using the apps' 3D rotation capability, each bone and its joints
- its different areas and its points of attachment to muscle
- are analyzed from all sides.

3) 3D KinesiologyA comprehensive survey of the movements performed by each joint relative to the body's anatomical planes and horizontal axis; it identifies the muscles involved and their actions on the joint in creating movements of different kinds (flexion and extension, abduction and adduction, circumduction etc.) Each movement is presented from different angles.

4) 3D energy MechanismsA review of the physiology impacting the muscular system, featuring Anaerobic and Aerobic energy mechanisms involved in producing motion.

"Muscle&Motion
- Anatomy" app is exceptionally well suited for the educational demands that characterize academic and professional environments. The apps' easy access, hierarchical and non-linear navigation capabilities, and multiple 3D animations:• Enable flexibility in preparing and implementing lesson plans;• Accelerate the assimilation of details and complex mechanisms, and reinforce understanding;• Enhance the later retrieval, mental visualization and manipulation of required knowledge in applied and research settings. $40 yearly for full access. Good content. Needs free rotation of object.

Great videos, i don't think that there is another app out there that compares. I love that they collaborated with anatomy trains, and they really have the movement/kinesiology game on lock. That being said, the stationary muscular skeleton is not as good as essential anatomy 5. Would love to be able to drag the skeleton to rotate instead of just doing quarter turns.

Seems very non-intuitive. Graphics are just ok. But it has no sound. I tap at the volume icon and it does nothing. My phone's various volumes are at full. Seems odd. The little dude with a hammer seems silly. Thought this would be better than it turned out to be. Too bad. Very cool idea, just very poorly delivered.

This app can be better by making the features more convenient by showing the movement of each part thru the model rather than the use of videos, so that there is better visualization of the muscle activity during the movement. Overall it is one of the best apps I've seen for anatomy and kinesiology.

Just started using this app, but am so excited with all of the available material (to the paid version). It has all the information you could need about the muscular system bolstered by video demonstrations and suggested strengthening and stretching techniques. Great tips and information about all parts of anatomy. 👍🏾

Lots of videos don't seem to work. Sometimes is displays that I have to pay to access something, sometimes a video just doesn't play. If that's because I need to pay then fine, but it makes me reluctant to pay for it when it doesn't seem to work.

I will give this a 5 star when you fix the Google Pay option. I'm not comfortable using my card information on an app, but every time I click on the Google Pay option an "error" occurs from the developer it says. Other than that the app is definitely 5 star worthy. Very detailed and very educational for someone like me needing it for fitness training purposes to pass exams. I'm a visual learner. This is perfect. Please fix the Google Pay option. I would love to gain access to all the videos.

It doesn't allow for 3d rotation.

has a lot of very useful information for studying to be a certified personal trainer... the only thing i don't like is that many of their videos have no sound ☹️ but they have accompanying text to follow; and the little guy that hammers muscles into place is kinda annoying and creepy... otherwise I'd give it five stars 😎👍 updated 7/28/2020 direct feedback from a business shows they care about their products and what their customers have to say. i highly appreciate that. here's the 5th star!

It is a wonderful app and is helping me a lot to understand movements. But is not complete. Plz, add this feature also: movement of muscles in a specific type of body movement e.g.climbing, pushups.

Pretty good app to help with movements! Only a few muscles on my lab list werent present in the app, but no real issues otherwise. Worth the money even if it was just for a month while studying for a test.

Initially I liked the app and thought it was useful. After playing around with it, it's really disappointing. Its usability is poor, takes a long time to load, there are better anatomy apps

When a free app demands you to create an account for something (not requests, DEMANDS), and it isn't a social thing (like multiplayer games or social networks), then it's a scam, full stop. Either it intends to harvest and sell your data, or it intends to outright rob you. Either way, I'm no longer interested.

Unable to purchase yearly subscription to unlock the entire content. Therefore I'm only left with a few slides and videos to enjoy. Extremely unfortunate.

Its a great app well explained but not free as it says and way way too expensive for info that can be found in books if you take time to read however if it was a one off payments probably this app will be more suitable and more instructors and interested people would pay..it's a shame 😔..I'm not going to save this..probably uninstall it soon,

Being someone that has never really understood how many muscles they are in each human amazed me to understand. For a student studying I highly recommend this application. It's amazing interesting and fun.

This app has been very useful for me, thank you! One thing I would like to be able to do is move limbs and such by swiping my screen instead of pushing the button each time I want to see a different angle.

The visual aids with motion are fantastic at teaching how the body moves and functions in many different motions. Well done!

Rik. F. Sep 14, 2021

Need to be able to move this to external storage (inserted SD card), phone storage is full, extetnal storage is almost empty. No idea if app is good or bad - looks good though.

Only complain is that the body parts should be bigger or o be able to zoom on it, so you can follow muscle tendons easier at the wrist for example.

Ani. W. Dec 11, 2021

horrible! if there was a lower score than one.. that is what this app would get! Cant log in at all. What a complete waste of time and $40.

LIZ. T. Dec 1, 2020

If you want to really understand the actions and attachments to these muscles in a fun visual manner... this is it! Seriously I would have paid top dollar for e this. Love my teacher Dr Lewis n all but this is truly the way to anatomy!!!

Hol. R. Dec 26, 2021

It looks like a really excellent app, really informative, but as other reviewers have said, the price is extremely off putting.

Har. E. Feb 26, 2022

Can't even use anything without creating an account with their site! Scammy. Stupid pointless marshmallow person obstructs view of muscles, wastes time with its stupid self and animations and is childish - that alone deters my from paying for or using the app.

Sco. H. Oct 10, 2020

Very informative, I currently have a shoulder injury that I need to have physio therapy for, this app has been an amazing tool to help me understand the physio's advice and it makes it easier to point out where my problem is.

Nic. D. Mar 5, 2020

An amazing and informative application. I can see this application being used as a quick reference to those familiar with anatomy, and a great guide for anatomy rookies.

Mr. T. Nov 26, 2020

Outstanding. Only slight criticism I have is the lack of any detail on the platysma - a niche interest, I'm sure! But seriously, if you are looking for the one Android app to own for A&P this is it.

Cam. W. Nov 25, 2020

What a joke. I paid for this app and 2/3 of the content is locked until you pay an additional subscription fee. Absolute waste of money and misleading description of the app itself.

Fab. R. Jan 15, 2020

Accurate information. Perfect visualization. Functional. Easy to understand. Handy. Perfect.

Sim. C. Feb 7, 2021

This is a really good resource for understanding the biomechanics of exercises and understanding what happens when we perform exercises. Really good app👌
