The interface could use a lot of work. Also, some of the information doesn't appear to be correct. For example Corel (ramaria stricta) is shown in the poisonous section? I've eaten these all of my life and so has almost everyone I know.
I don't know why people are complaining. As with any app with information in it, you must use common sense. The disclaimer in the app is standard for legal reasons. If you just trust something blindly, that's your own problem. Always double check everything. The interface is fine, would like a dark mode, tho. And a search by name perhaps.
When I open, it just asks for a million permissions, instead of just opening the data we need.
THE APP HAS MUCH OF FALSE INFORMATION . APP DEVELOPER CAN REFER GOOGLE, WIKIPEDIA ETC. &/OR OTHER LEGIT SOURCES TO CORRECT THE INFORMATION. FURTHERMORE IT CAN CONTACT OTHER MYCOLOGISTS AROUND THE WORLD TO MAKE THIS APP MORE LEGIT WITH CORRECT INFORMATION.
This app seems to be made by an uneducated being who is trying to make money off people who want to learn about fungi by throwing lies at them like fungi is a larger part of the plant species, fungi is its own kingdom not animal or plant, says that you should consult a professional of sorts and that they want to claim no responsibility for injuries or illness caused by testing fungi to see if it is poisonous or not because they don't actually know themselves quite obviously, it's a dumb app I'm just happy it was free I only installed it to have a look but all I seen was lies and an app that is going no where
Not great, but still can be useful.
Why dont you add the common names ?? Otherwise a good app
Okay, so I've possibly not given this app a fair chance yet but I installed it, clicked instructions and the first thing a read was a sentence saying that fungi are a group of plants. I'm not going to trust an app about mushrooms, that gets something so basic wrong. Edit: They were elevated to Kingdom in 2007 and certainly are not plants. I would just rewrite that bit, as it's a bit off putting, if I were you.
