The visual design of this app is quite good, and it sounds phenomenal, but it has an enormous quantity of flaws. I would say I'm bothered the most by the sorting. Two albums with different artists, (clearly defined, I double checked) are thrown together for god knows what reason when sorting by artist. The Album Artist sorting tab is a complete joke. Single FLAC files with embedded cues are treated as just one file. PNGs are not recognized for album art. How come mobile apps like Foobar2000 have all this figured out so easily and an app that's explicitly designed for a high resolution music player still can't fix these problems three years later?
Not bad all around; they finally added an album artist menu. If they can just change the sorting underneath the genre menu to album artist as well, my rating will go up another star.
The most anticipated feature volume normalizer simply doesn't work. Very disappointed.
why is the battery always went down so fast when i didn't use it...
Crashes when transferring music from iTunes using XDAP link. Playlists transferred from iTunes using XDAP link appear in the Playlist menu but are blank when opened (other software like VLC opens the same playlists). Artwork is lost when transferring from iTunes using XDAP link.
Also for XDP-300R. Urgently needs Album Artist sorting option! Would like some eye candy like VU meter. Why are 44.1 flac files being upsampled to 48.8 even with all upsampling options being turned off?
44.1 FLAC resampled to 48, can't fix wrong art or album identification. Not clear what the digital filters actually do. Could use some TLC
Please fix the "unkown" albums it sorts it all even it has different artist for example i chose artist A and select unkown album but when i select artist A unknown album it shows all the artist with unkown albums
Great app just add more spectrum and more improve on mp3, AAC. Update frequently too improve the player .
It's good app, only needs an option to sort recently added songs.
Makes the Pioneer DAP do everything I need it to do as far a playing music is concerned.
Needs recently added function as well as grid view, the list goes on for ever. Takes a lot of time for you to get to your recently added music. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Sorry guys but sound quality is too clear so clear it sounds like air. Needs to be solidified, equalizer is not functional.
Great music app that takes full advantage of the Pioneer XDR-100r hardware capabilities. The equalizer is awesome, great sound quality.
Plays all my files perfectly. Tons of sound editing options, keeps my files organized the way I put them on the SD card.
Its great. Fast and easy to control. I do miss landscape and in car mode. Thanks for adding it.
not support chinese lyrics
This seems to be a great app. Unfortunately, most of the buttons are not labeled, making it mostly inaccessible for talkback users. I have since discovered that the hardware buttons along with the fourth home screen make this app more accessible, and usable for the most part.
Purports to be an audiophile music app but upsamples 44.1khz to 48khz, even when upsampling is disabled. The eq is pretty broken, so leave it disabled.
There's crap ton of lag when I'm scrolling through my music library (around 94X songs) Sometimes it would just completely stuck and stop working… Pls fix it!!
I love the device but many apps now require 6.0 or higher
worst part of owning an xdp dap. constant crashing, unintuitive gui, barebones feature set, forced resampling, and so on an so forth. superior hardware totally ruined by incompetent software.
