I thought this app was perfect for teaching my little ones to read and hear music notes. Imagine my displeasure when we can't even move past level one because it is impossible on that level to earn the "shells" required to unlock level two! Instead we have to purchase the shells. Either make this skill based or just make it a paid app, don't scam people.
As someone that is completely clueless to reading music notes I thought this would be a good place to start, but this app is those who already know their music notes and music pieces, I like the graphics and concept but this app is clearly not for someone who's not clueless
Works well, is fun to play, but i got to level 4 and I can't get any more shells to progress in the game without paying to get them. If you must pay to progress in the game, why be so misleading? You should tell them in the app that you have to pay so that people don't waste their time trying to get shells from levels they can't get them from.
It is helpful for beginners but it is rather confusing for more advanced musicians. However it is fun and nice to kill time with.
Great app. Very interactive and useful for beginners. The fact you have to pay to get past level five however is frustrating.
No instructions and you'd think pressing 3 if the crab is on line 3 it would work, but it doesn't. If you cant even figure out how to play the game without "losing" (by the way, a teachinf game shoulsnt even have a "losing"...)
This is adorable! It's helping me learn the basics, and I work hard to hit the right notes because I don't want to make the crab cry, LOL. Really liking the crab run challenge, too.
I think this app focused more on trying to be cute than a functional teaching device. also, the crab notes moved too fast for a beginner to use
Amazing Game! the only thing that can make this better is an option to work on certain notes.
This is great mental exercise, I've been using it as a refresher and will be definitely using this with my children ❤

As a keyboardist this is "must hv app/game" on my phone.. So much fun!!
Great app! I only have one grip/suggestion. A mix of Treble and Bass would be very useful and this app doesn't offer a lot as far as octave/note identification. I relize the onscreen keyboard can only be so small. A man by the name of David Gilbertson published an article on the web called "A Web Audio Experiment: Detecting Piano Notes", you can search it, he describes how he was able to detect piano note in an app. This would be a useful feature in Music Crab.
