Music Detector

This app gave correct answers but most times it took too long for the app to pull up. That's difficult when I only hear the tail end of a song and want to catch it before it ends. Most times the song ended before I could figure out what it was. My old phone had a built in app that was much faster but I had to replace the phone and find a new app. This one isn't it.

This app is great, I use it all the time especially when a song comes on the radio and I want to know who sings it and the name, but it does take maybe 5 to 10 seconds to come on because the ads you have to close, but overall I recommend it!! Maybe figure out how to put ads at the end and make where we have to watch. Say if we have to watch an ad to get to detect a song, or something like that. Everyone should atleast try it and see if they love it to, best of all its FREE!!!!!

The app can guess some songs, but not a lot. I really think if it connects to youtube and spodify it should get the songs I am playing. It likes to say no results and it get some of them, or it gets differnet song that was not that one. Please fix these bugs, and the ads. The app would be great if it could get all the songs I play instead of getting no results! I just got so tried of it, I am uninstalling it! :(

So, I downloaded this app a few months ago and was pretty happy about it until today. At first I only was pleasantly surprised it had a search history at all, so that was cool... And then this morning, I looked a new song (I might have used the app tops 15 to 20 times in the past few months) and then I opened the 'history' feature and search history was gone... it was really bizzarre (and sad, since I didn't save the songs I have searched)... So yeah, not a good experience

The ads are highly intrusive, consistently annoying, and detract from the overall experience. In addition, the app doesn't accurately find the information. Every song I've looked for has been technically correct in the song title, but has made up every single artist that they match with the songs.

Great App. All my history got wiped out. Had a collection of great songs I heard in random places. They're all gone. I guess I need to note them down once I get the results. So far has found all music I tried. Would've given 5 stars but the history just vanished from one day to the next.

This app instantly identifies some rare and unpopular songs. Then there's times it struggles to correctly identify a popular song. But when listening to those incorrect songs you clearly hear the samples used in the song you wanted to find. Either way you're spanking Google's sound search.

seems to be a good app. I haven't used it much but so far so good. Edited: after using it for a little while I'm going to give it five stars. Great app Works well. I'm not sure how it detects songs when I'm listening through headphones? I even took my headphones off to see if I could hear the music which I couldn't. I thought it was picking up from my headphones but.. I definitely recommend this app! I just hope that developer don't come up with a update that could possibly make it not work

I am really not impressed with the app. It identified few songs and rest of the time it doesn't know the song. Even if U keep the phone right in front of speakers. It seems that the app is more intent on sharing adds. And when u refuse the adds then song is Not identified.

Hey am not gonna lie but some of the songs can't be recognised either foreign languages or the song itself it's not that famous. The music detector can't recognise the intro music and also the outro, soundtracks. Even though the soundtracks and intros I found it from YouTube to test whether the app could function. It saddens that it doesn't work. Is there possibility to make it work?

I have been looking for an extended period of time for a song my FOA teacher has been playing during art, it has the lyrics "Oooh I love you, you don't even have to say it cause I know you do", but have been unable searching it everywhere but not finding the correct one. I tried singing it into the app but it didn't recognize. It's purpose is not to do this anyway, so I understand and appreciate it's effort, but for my purpose it didn't work not tried to work.

Absolutely worthless, doesn't work and deceives you into clicking on links that makes them money. When it does manage to work, it can only identify about half of the songs. Much better options out there.

if you are looking for an app that detects music in a video this is it. I downloaded a few others before this, they gave a me a "you don't have flash" sign even though my device said it was compatible. anyways if you experienced the same thing stop looking and get this app.

It's a very good and helpful app, but it has way to many apps. I know it's free, but the amount of ads is really annoying. There wasn't a single time that I started app without ad poping up immediately. So that's my only complaint I guess and a reason for 4 stars out of 5.

Just so the developers don't feel bad i am giving it 2 stars. The problem here is i tried Shazam first (the best "music detector") and it couldn't find the song and i tried this app and it gave me a result and it turns out to be a wrong song. Just to give it a chance i played it again but the results didn't change.😑😑

Satisfied with the app. Finds most of the songs fast. It has ads but since it's free and does the job, I'm not bothered at all. It keeps history of songs, which is a great feature and one of the reasons I gave 5 stars.

This app isn't half bad and pretty good and quick when it comes to doing what it's supposed to do, but Jesus Christ, there are so many ads. 😤 The uncalled for ad takes a bit to load and by the time I'm able to have the app detect a song to identify, the song will already be over.

Have to say, dropping from 4* to 1* is the best course of action for this app. Used to be very good at detecting songs, now it is just an ad trash and wouldn't even start record until you installed the ads app. Sorry dev, you deserved this. Uninstalled

When I don't know the name of a song that is playing on the radio or at the restaurant,movies,tv I just open the app press the button and 99% of the time it shows me what song it is,only default is adds but it their not that bad all in all great app!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

It work's great, but some times it don't detect some of the songs? and you got to keep on pressing to start over! And need to remove the ad? That says download Facebook video. It's anode! I purchase the app and its steal has one advertising for Facebook!

The app retrieved the songs so fast, I was shocked and so simple to use. Very user friendly. Even with alot of background noise within a TV show or vodeo, this app still gets the info it needs and provides the song. Great app!

its quick, doesn't always pick up. X i didnt have wifi but now i do its amazing gives lyrics and can send you to YouTube or Spotify. Fantastic. been using this app for about a hear now i absolutely love it it gives yoj the song, lyrics and can send you to YouTube or Spotify. this is defentelty worth the storage. if you love musiv but cant always remember the same. well thia is yout soluoution. i defentelty recommend this ro anybody who lives misic but is very forgetful. 5 out of 5. i am in love.

Overall not a bad app, has found almost all songs so far. Cannot give 5 stars as history gets deleted every day and there are no settings to stop erasing the history and also there is a tab for lyrics but none have been found. I like the YouTube and Spotify connection though.

it works well. picked up song lyrics in a few seconds. Update: This app rocks, it has never had a problem finding a song. thr pro option is well worth it!! thanks to the developer!
