My music collection is mostly classical and for me most music playing apps are seriously over-engineered. Quite often a CD will have several works by the same composer but its gets presented as single collection of "songs" by the performers. With this app I can first organise by 'classical', 'modern' and 'compilations', then by composer or artist as appropriate. I didn't hesitate to pay the very modest price to get rid of adverts and to thank the developer for possibly saving my sanity!
This app allows me to easily organize my music into "playlists" by putting similar music together and naming the folder something recognizable. I have a lot of digital music from growing up, and this app let's me navigate it all without using a PC program to sync or maintain it. I really wouldn't want to live without it, and it being a few bucks for ad free, I really enjoy what this app is capable of.
I like this app, but the repeat function does not work when the shuffle mode is turned off. I would expect it to repeat a folder's, or playlist's contents, but instead it progresses to the next folder or playlist. Other than that, great app. Thanks for the reply! I did find the setting you referred to, and was able to adjust it. Thanks!
By far the best Music Player in the Google Play Store. I've tried over 10 different, (all paid versions) Players. None of them could sort out the proper Genre, Artist, Artwork, etc. without major headaches - some not at all. Runs almost like a Windows Media Player for Android but better. Images of Album Art and Artists can easily be attached to folders for proper recognition. Sorting of folders is extremely good and the support from the developer is excellent!
Extremely reliable. This is the player I looked high and low for. Simple, simple. Works great with its widget. Every time I get into the car my audio book starts playing where it left off. Plays by file name and ignores embedded info. Perfect. I have a LOT of files in my audio books. This player handles it exactly as I need it... Alphabetically!
This app works great for music or audiobooks. It remembers where you left off in each folder so you can jump between books and not lose your place. The only issue I have found is that if you have a very large single audio file(lets say 30 hours long) when you go back to listening to a folder you have left it will resume from a slightly different spot. Maybe 30 seconds to 3 minutes off. But, this only happens on huge files.
I love this app. It took me a long time to find it and this app allows me to play music in folders easily and without having to press play on every single MP3. If I have folders within folders it will play the music in one folder and then move on to the next exactly like I wanted to. There are a lot of configurations that are available to tailor it to just how you want it. I tried other players and they weren't really designed to handle folders intelligently. This one does.
Picking up where you left is the highlight function and gives it an edge on all other music app. It does have all the other desired functions. Just wished if it could access cloud drives and play folders there, avoiding the need to download Music collection whenever I change the phone, also helping in saving the precious storage space on the phone.
This app is absolutely brilliant, I have tried many music apps over the years and this one is by far the best! So simple to set up and use and yet so powerful and compact in operation - it's a joy to see all my folders and music available within seconds of installing the app. Great interface with great thought gone into making this so user friendly. Many thanks
This music folder player is just what I have been looking for and a lot more as well. The developer has thought about everything and still kept it simple. And yet it has every setting on it I could ask for and more when I look for any software I try to check if it is still in development because that's allways a good sign and that's ticked another box plus they have now gone at it for several years years now and that shines through with the quality of the build. And zero problems.Thankyou
Had the free version for years and it was great. Finally decided to get the full version and it was worth it. Full control, including settings you'll probably never need. All-around fantastic app for android users who like to organize their music with complete user control for playback. Highly recommend.
This is an amazing music player but! I have one issue - it starts playing music on its own, without me touching anything! For instance - my phone is locked in a case on my table and all of sudden it starts blaring loud music - the culprit is always this app (I have no other music player anyway) It happens about every other day. Is it only me? What would be the solution? Also it resets too often but I think it's my phone's doing..
This is an excellent music player especially if you have your stuff already organized into folders and want to identify songs based on their filename. Lots of options, easy to use: Just when you think it doesn't have a certain setting, it turns up. Well worth the money and i haven't had a single problem with it. Easy 5 stars
My #1 favourite music app. I organize music into folders based on genres and subgenres, so-called indie music genres that mainstream doesn't recognize. Not to mention all the DJ mixes I have. Other apps that force you to search by artist or mainstream genre are useless. Having an app that recognizes any which way I organize my music is a blessing. Edit: After years of use, I regretfully have to take off a star for lack of Android Auto support, and move on to another app for this functionality.
I've tried numerous folder players and this is by far the best! The full version is VERY fairly priced, so i bought it & reccomend you do the same. If you turn on shuffle, it will hold your place no matter how many different folders you have a shuffle going in. I hope it doesn't repeat songs before they're all played, but i haven't had it long enough to confirm that. Buy this with confidence!
I have tried various mp3 player apps but immediately uninstalled them due to various problems in those apps. I finally came across this one and after trying the free app I decided to buy the paid app even if the suggested drag sorting of playlist really does not work. I hope they can tweak the app by allowing a simpler alphabetical sorting of songs across the board.
I don't know how you can be lost in the fact that the app isn't working as accurate as it once did before but when I select the app it takes longer to show anything (30 seconds to a minute on the wait actually and that's if it doesn't go into error and force closes itself in restart mode) . If this is an update issue or whatever then then by all means just fix it because it wasn't doing this much shutting off and restarting just to play music.... What else is there to say to get that problem fix
