Music Folder Player (original)

I use this nearly everyday and like it. However, I wish it could save playlists. It is a pain to clear an album, then navigate back to the music folder and find another album.

Best player using it for past 2-3 years, nevertfelt the need to go for any alternative. Can access any of your music files from internal/external seamlessly.

Does not find memory card or usb-stick, only internal memory. No good!

I saw other reviews where it would not recognize the ext sd... this was corrected or its their phone. No prob on the s3.I would be nice if it were a little more intuitive. The layout and playlist managing is confusing at first. I would make the following changes: * add the ability to filter just by name while in the playlist instead of just name and album *simplify the layout or create a more comprehensive walkthrough *create a widget that will show album art and will operate from the lockscreen

Good job with visuals. App looks very nice but there are problems with navigation within the app. When playing a single song there is no easy way to go back to parent folder. When playing a play list songs are not listed, although there is enough screen estate.

Every action is interrupted by ads. I understand the necessity if having ads, but the way it was done in this app seems particularly tasteless.

I really Love this App. I would LOVE to give it five stars but the one thing I don't like is I can't edit the names of songs, genre, or any information of the song. If you could change that for me I would give it 5 all the way=)

I'm impressed about the functionality and clean interface of this app. For me,it's one of the best folder player out there, and I've tried quite a lot. For some reason, folder players tend to be cluttered and difficult to use. Not the case here. Some things that need fixing or improving: - The search function does not work. - I can´t use the controls from my Bluetooth headphones, so it´s quite annoying having to open the telephone to pause/go to previous/next, etc. - It would be great to import playlist files created with other tools.

Cannot do anything else while this app works, even task-swap button on Android OS is disabled. Uninstalling this garbage.

It is not just the external card that it cannot see, it cannot see a thing. About the worst app I encountered, i.e. outside of those that cripple your phone or do not start at all.

I love direct access to file system, the sound quality is up there with the top 5 music player apps.

Great app like the files are separted. Akl you need now is an edit tag to correct names of artist and songs. Then i will give it a five.

Awesome music folder. Works beautifully on my LG V20 Sad I bought this to tryout but forgot about it, so no refund. I'm a jetAudio+ fan, Would definitely make this my default folder app for my music. Add some themes definitely. I'm talking about light, dark, blue, ICS, Teal, purple. Just some major work but well worth keeping ur donations coming. Good Luck!

This is the only player can customise the playlist easily. To the developer. must place the'myfiles & Clear playlist' button in the home screen. I recommend to my friends. Their feedback is difficulty in finding the options of adding or changing mp3 list. Thanks.

Thanks appgratis... So used to the plethora of music players that I rarely look at them now but this ones good & most importantly... Works!some snappy features would like to see a dark theme perhaps in update keep up the good work more devs need to be less greedy like this ads kill apps! This app is everything I expect from music player but UI is not very intuitive. The biggest flaw is this huge background on top of playlist, which is totally useless and just takes up screen.

I think there are a few kinks as far as ease of use and the delay between songs, but the app is generally great. I got it free from AppGratis, but I probably would not have paid for the app.

Very decent player, simple in design and use. Pretty basic, but if you're not looking for tens of (useless) features, this is very decent. The only thing I miss, is gapless playback and a 'shuffle folder/album' option. I'd give this a 4/5, but I'll subtract 1 star since it hasn't had any updates in 3 years.

Fantastic app!😄_ I installed it 'cos really liked the Glimmer app and how nice was the dev Nicolas in replying to me (merci b'coup!)_ Since some years I'm a faithful user of Poweramp thru my devices, satisfied with it_ but this one has such interesting features! 📟🔊First test: 👍the UI ain't complicated as someone says, with few actions you have a complete control of operations_ 👍cool the search for images & tags_ 👍liked the touch swiping over the list of songs (once they're stored in the player) to rearrange the playing order, later useful to create playlists_ 👍and 4!, really hope that Nicolas himself or some smart dev could create different skins for app & widgets to give the app a real "personal" touch_ it deserves a lot!_ END! 👋😎👌

Interaction between Launcher app and it do not always respond to each other, sometimes app wont launch.

It's nice to have a music app that plays files from a folder instead of based on mp3 tags. This is a boon for audiobook listeners like myself. Bonus: The developer even added audio book controls...thanks! Even though the app has some on screen instructions, the layout and usability was not intuitive. It took me a while, and still taking me some time, to get used to setting up playlists or just playing a song without putting it in a playlist. Folder navigation, for example... the "up folder" button is on the menu bar instead of next to the folder browser. At first it only showed me 4 folders, but I soon realized that these are the only folders I have music files in. This may be why some people complained about not reading an SD card.

Garbage, would only allow me to search internal (phone) storage although I have an SD card and also an OTG cable with thumb drive with media files on them. Uninstalled.
