Not perfect, but the best player I've found. I've got a Pixel 3 with Android v 9. The controls on the widget don't work. Just acts as a launcher that takes me into the app. Even if it did work, the widget is lacking. Wish it functioned like the Samsung player widget, which can be scaled to include the playlist within the widget. Lock screen controls are also hit or miss as far as whether they even show up. Lots of other small bugs and inconsistencies. If they were fixed it would be perfect.

I have had Pi Music Player on my Samsung Galaxy S7 for about 2 yrs. It's the BEST music player app I've found. It's offline, so it works anywhere. It's free, the ads aren't obnoxious, I find it easy to use and it's always worked for me. It doesn't require invasive permissions, doesn't devour my battery, doesn't cause problems with other apps and doesn't use up a ton of space with extra features I neither need, nor want. Thank you for a wonderful app! I'm in LOVE with it!!! Don't change it!! :D

I like a this player a lot. The only reason I don't give it a perfect 5 stars is that the music stops when you swipe the app of screen even though it's capable of playing music in the background. I then have to manually hit play again. It's not the end of the world but it can ruin the enjoyment of the music to have it stop like that just because you don't want to leave the app fully open. It should keep playing and only pause music if you specifically hit the pause button.

This app is great overall, because of its easy to use, ads free, selfmaking ringtone and equalization features of the music you downloaded and/or shared. As well as you have a guide, to help you out if you need any assistance, if you don't understand how something works. You may also put a sleep timer or invite friends to share your experience with them.

okay, so i LOVE this app (using it as i write this review). amazing music player and gorgeous. I've been using this app for over a year and there's barely anything i would change. but the one thing that i don't like is the shuffling. i get pretty much the same songs at the beginning every time and i have a 700 song library. i would REALLY appreciate if you'd mess with the shuffling. thank you!

I hope the devs see this, the app is great, tons of features and an easy to use interface yet since about a week ago I have noticed an issue. Whenever I add music to my folder the app won't recognize it unless I open my phone's storage via PC, BUT if I use the in-app search the songs added will appear albeit only in the search bar. As mentioned earlier I noticed this about a week ago since up until then everything was fine. If you guys see this I am open to any questions, cheers! :)

I like it over other music apps I've tried lately. There are two things that keep this from 5 stars for me. The randomize button in the lower right when looking through music, it blocks the 3 dots needed to add the last folder in the list to a playlist (as an example). Second is the swipe to remove song from playlist feature. It's very easy to accidentally remove songs from a playlist without meaning to.

I've only used it for playing music stored on my phone. For that it is outstanding. Can't comment on its streaming capabilities. There is one small glitch in the user interface - the "repeat" button's pop-up prompt has a long delay associated with it, and it gets left behind when pressing the button more than once, leading to confusion. Apart from that, it is slick, professional and superb value for money.

Big problem is the shortened song lists. If you have a long artist, as most of mine are, then you can't see the whole song. Sometimes you can't see ANY of the song. Example: "Flight of the Conchords - ..." That's like 40 songs! If you got rid of that giant, at-least-8-characters-big music note to the left (is there supposed to be album art there? Don't want even if so), and the huge space between the list item and the three dots options on the right, that'd be like 20 more spaces. C'mon guys.

The player works well. I do like the interface and options for listing by artist, album, etc. A problem I am experiencing is that the embedded album art is not displayed for all albums or songs. This is a common issue with other music player apps but which albums show art is not consistent between different players. All art shows correctly in windows grove player. The first player that corrects this issue and offers the same basic features will be to one I stick with and recommend to others.

It's amazing! Best player I've ever seen since Samsung default from years ago. Best thing we can see albums when select artist view. Most players only show one or another and if you want to see albums categorized after selecting artist it's impossible. It's a simple feature but most don't have it. Pi shows us a good and clean view, no ads from start and its cheap to buy. It also comes with equalizer. It's THE PERFECT music player.

It works very well so far, but I have a few complaints. There is only one widget, 4x1, and it isn't customizable. You can't change the size or color or anything, but it works. Also, as far as I can tell, there is no easy way to find the lyrics, or even the tag editor. The app is still very good. There are things to work on, but it plays my music and it's very well organized. This is the best music player I have ever downloaded. It's very much amazing and a wonderful application. It plays music of all types, particularly mp3. For example, the app can play songs from all folders and any library as well. it's also imperative to note that battery consumption is low when songs are being played. I would recommend to others to download this app without any doubt. I have therefore decided to give you 5 stars.

I have a huge amount of music on my phone and sd card. I'm not aways near a WiFi for weeks at a time, so I love my music on my device, and running it off line. I've struggled with other apps just not finding all of it. I delighted to say your app is the first to locateusic, and artwork! It's a beautiful design and easy to set multiple playlists. I think it's a good app, very suitable for listening and making playlists and all that. But what I consider to be a BIG let down is the lacking of gapless play. I've got several albums that are unlistenable thanks to this missing feature that I consider to be a basic feature of any good musicplayer. Please make gapless play available for the player, I would pay for it.

It's a very nice music player app. I really like the feature where you can change the background but if I may give a critical criticism. In 2 days of using this app I've found out that the music that I downloaded on my phone ; the music player can't find it even though I tried different ways of troubleshooting. It keeps telling me "this song doesn't exist." I hope you can fix this error because it's such a nice app and it's easy to use.

Great music app. No pop up ads but I still bought the ad-free mostly to support them. Simple interface and overall nice design and customization tools. Yo, just as an idea, if one could add/set images to playlist that'd be a pretty neat detail, like a grid view for the playlist and having the option to set the playlist image. Very nice app, have been using it for few years now, i have just few issuses. First after miui 10 came out, its no longer possible to operate the player on lock screen, i have granted all permissions, but its just not showing. Second is that after recent one or 2 updates the app keeps lagging. When I move up in list of folders I have to move the list for it to actually refresh.

Music player is amazing app I really love this app. It's features are awesome. Very easy to use. I like your app but the ads are beginning to wear on my nerves. Additionally, it's a bit annoying to see my notifications and ringtones in my library—it would be great to have the ability to select which folders are accessed.🌹

At last, an app I am satisfied with. Though I didn't need a lot from it, it detected my downloads and got right to the music with no trouble, has great appearance, simple toggles and controls. Loud, clear, no problems so far, can play even with phone turned off. So far, a great replacement for Google play.

this app is amazing, it allows you to exit out of YouTube videos while still playing your music, and it also allows you to repeat YouTube videos. The downside is you are directly streaming, so there is not a way to download music onto your phone through this app. u have to have internet or Wi-Fi access to be able to stream from YouTube. It saves all of your downloaded music into the app (music you own), you can create a playlist. It is overall a five-star coming from me. The best app I ever used

The app is good and I love using it. But there are 2 major issues. 1, it has no widget. If I want to skip, rewind, FF a song, will have to unlock the phone, open the app, tap on the now playing song and THEN do what I need. 2nd, it plays over phone calls. It dosent pause for incoming calls or even for mesaage notifications. Have missed so many calls and texts because I didnt realise I had recieved them. :(. Plz fix these asap.
