The app itself is really nice all the features work very well except for the ringtone feature it doesn't let you do more than 2 seconds the 2 seconds and it won't let me at least pass for or skip to a part of the song that would be OK to have as a ringtone I just have the 1st 2 seconds of the opening which is the intro that's the only problem I have with this app so I have to download another app from the market Because I can't use that 1 part if they fixed that I would give us a 5 stars
I have had this app for years now its awful. I can no longer rename my songs or make a playlist. Also it used to be on my lock screen and now its not. I camt dind a way to chanhe any of this im settings It also skip to the next song in the middle of the song that was playing. Its in serious need of an update thay fixes all this and then some. Most everything in the pictures doesnt work any longer.
Good app for its intended use. Nice design overall too, nothing confusing. Only problem is, I can't move any new downloaded songs into any other album. It's permanently stuck in the downloads one. I've tried everything at this point, from updating the app to restarting my phone. It just says 'loading' for a second before disappearing. It doesn't move whatsoever and it's getting really annoying.
Album view doesn't have a list view. Scroll bars don't display the first letter as you scroll down. Also the procedure to give the app access to the SD card is much more convoluted than in most apps. These are quite major defects but in most other respects I really like it - its UI is much better than most music apps. I particularly like the fact that the play slider uses the full width of the screen when in landscape view, which most music apps don't allow; and the fact that it has a proper folder view, which most music apps don't.
The app's great, good equalizer , very user friendly interface, and a lot of options. But, I have a complaint, and it is about the equalizer. It just, disappears. I'll completely(sometimes not completely) close the app then come back and the equalizer has disappeared. The only thing that remains are the base and virtulizer knobs. It's only recently started happening, so hopefully this won't keep happening and is only happening to me.
Excellent app. Graphic equaliser is high quality stuff. Ads are not too intrusive as opposed to some of the other apps where I have to spend time navigating the maze of ads before I can play any music. One feature I could not find is the ability to create a custom playlist. It is so very basic for any music app that I cant believe it is not there. Probably, I cant find it in the app. I hope the feature will be added if it is really not there.
I love this app and threw the years it's the only one I trust to have on my phone. It's reliable, and you can use it offline! I would say it's easy to maneuver but the only thing I would change is if in settings or something I could change the layout to suit me a little better. But even with that tiny detail I still wouldn't trade this app for anything and I'll swear by it. Would be cool if I was able to use offline radio on here to its impossible to find a good offline radio app in the store.
It's pretty good, but lately, it is also playing my downloaded ringtones and notification tones (from Zedge), which I don't want. They're even in a separate folder on my phone. Music is on SD card, tones on device. When I try to delete tones from the player, it wants to delete them off the device. Tried making a playlist to avoid playing my tones, but there's no way to reorder said playlist in alphabetical order. New songs just get added to the bottom. Now the playlist had disappeared entirely.
Great App. I use it since google music shut down. It has everything I love in a music player and even a mp3 editing function. The only thing that a negativ point for me is: When you have your playlist randomized you can't choose what song to play next. It'll just pick a random song. I don't know how hard it's to program, but if you could makd that work, it would be perfect.
Here it is! This is the replacement for Google Play Music I was looking for! It allows me to play my own library of music both on my device & in my car, & allows me to control the music with the car's stereo. I can rebuild my playlists, and the music stops at the end of each list. THANK YOU! That's all I wanted! If you feel the need to update it, please don't remove any features. The little banner ads are very unobtrusive, even on my phone screen. Excellent job, developers!
Music app is great. Had it for a good long time and it has worked really well. Ads are not too intrusive. The only problem I have is with the playback speed. A feature I use a lot. Change the speed and pitch, hit play and it will play for a song or not even 1 song and then stop. Hit play again and it is back to normal speed and pitch. Also hard to get the slider to stay where you want it when you remove your finger. Other than this problem with the speed and pitch this app has been good to me.
This is the best music player out there. So far, I haven't seen many ad's, the mp3 cutter and equalizer work great. Searching for a specific song works very smoothly. Most of all, I love how it shows the album covers instead of having to download and apply them in the app. I can have access to each and EVERY song that downloaded. Most only show a handful of songs. There was nothing wrong with my experience with this music player. I would rate much higher than just 5 stars if I could. Great job.
pretty awesome app — it has a light and dark mode, it allows us to set a particular color as a theme (so many to choose from too, the different shades are all aesthetically pleasing to look at), gives us the ability to edit the names of the songs and upload pictures, the ads are small and are gone once you turn off your internet connection, and i can exclude folders i don't want to see. all in all, a good app! only thing missing in my opinion is a sleep timer.
It is a good player, I've been using it for years... but... there are a few problems with it: - lately the icons for 'repeat' and 'shuffle' do not change after you tap on them, so you don't know if they are on or off - another thing I think would be really useful, if we could import/export the playlists. This is my third "move" to a new phone, and it's nerve-wrecking to create all my playlists again.
Nice!!! My only complaint is that I can't go back to the beginning of a song and re-start it using my Pebble Time Steel smartwatch. Other than that, this app is fantastic! They've changed it!!! You now CAN go back to the beginning of a song and re-start it! This is a great feature if you're listening to music while riding a bike or rollerblading and don't want to pull out your phone. Works for the Fitbit Versa 2 also.
I love this music player app, but have two issues I wish to be addressed 1. Playlists. As mentioned by others, I can create playlists and add songs, but when I check later on, the songs are gone! 2. I can connect the app to my Chromecast devises in my home, but no sound seems to come though when I press play, other apps work fine. This may be a Chromecast issue or this app? I would definitely give 5 stars for this app if the above could be fixed!!
Almost a perfect replacement for the Google Music player. Similar feel and functionality. However, I've had problems with the playlist feature. The playlist will work fine for a week and then the app will no longer recognize it as a supported file. I've let the developer know, but will have to continue the search for a better player.
I use this on my Samsung phone to play my own library. Nixed by google play, and left with nothing to continuously play my own music. Tried another (one of the top 10 recommended players), it was okay, but decided to look for something more satisfying and simpler to use. This is very user friendly. And as another reviewer stated, looks exactly like google play which dumped me. Honestly, no effort whatsoever to install. Also, has some additional features that if google play had them, they weren't easy to find, and I didn't find them if they were there. One very important one is simply to have an album repeat itself. I use this on my motorcycle a lot, and don't want to be fumbling, looking on my phone to get the player going again if an album comes to the last song and then ends. Basically I am back in the saddle again. Happy camper!!! Go Music Player!!!
1st media player I tried, have no reason to look further. Read the reviews so I knew what to expect. The equalizer works very well, but uses subtractive eq. Which means it doesn't boost ranges,it cuts back other ranges to bring out the desired results. That means the total volume will be lessened. It's an awesome app and I am happy to recommend it
This is the Best Music App I have ever used. It is easy to use, looks neat and it's simplicity is next level. However, It would be nice if you added a refresh button so that I don't have to close the app and open it again whenever I add a new song but it is the best. I'd recommend it to my friends if we ever start to talk about music apps. But overall this app is 10/10.
