Does everything required, absolutely. Exactly the tool I need to replace a bunch of paper cards I am currently using to practice. This tool is very simple to use. Of course, it assumes that you have at least some remote understanding about the music notation. As a software developer I will also enjoy possibility to see the source code.

A brilliant and truly free app to get you recognising your notes. Of course hitting them is up to you. Great settings choices. Best of all, like the piano, it looks the same each time I come to it. There is no "improvement" that would not spoil it as far as I'm concerned.

Almost perfect. Why is statistics unavailable? Plus a description to explain how to access the options menu would have been nice. On my Android you have to touch your phones option 'button' to access settings to change how you practice. The app is free, so you really can not complain. Before I found this, I made homemade flash cards and it took forever. This is a Godsend.

Super simple, clean design. Maybe the UI could be more modern-ish, but it's not really needed. It's got everything, can pick the clefs you want to be tested in (can do several at once-pick from treble, bass, alto and tenor) , do-re-mi/C-D-E option, difficulty level, amount of notes asked in practice and in quiz, and a bit more. Quick, easy, and good everyday practice. BUT, hopefully stats will work soon. Accidentals&Key signatures would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.

It NEED'S the option to disable vibration, I have it turned off at all times because it's an unnecaserry drain on my battery and quite frankly it's annoying

The good: like the answer buttons on the right. Big buttons and big notes. Simple and good settings for practice. The bad: Needs sharps and flats. Statistics button says feature is not available right now. Would like to see stats so I know I am getting faster.

I thought this app was supposed to actually teach what the notes are. Guessing until the correct note is picked doesn't help someone with no prior knowledge.

If you want an app to help you with this on the computer, check out GNU Solfege. This one is wonderful, does what it does and nothing more.

I play the violin, and this really helps if you've lost touch with sheet music

This app has a beautifully minimalistic design but it makes no sacrifices. You choose your difficulty level and increase it as you improve. Lots of customization, too. And, most importantly, this app is really helping me improve my sight reading! :D

This app will help no matter what level you're at, too easy.

The only thing that would make this better, which would make it the BEST app for learning notes for treble and bass, would be to ADD SOUND of the NOTES. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

I would like if the notes could be move horizontaly as we read them when we play. Aplication like this is Jalmus for windows. Thanks a lot.

I can no longer access the control panel to change its settings. Needs updating. Good program if and when that is fixed. Otherwise broken.

This app works really well. Helped me get even more comfy with sight reading. I just wish the statistics feature worked...

Helps improve sight recognition for both bass & treble clef. Not used much yet but good so far.

Very good app, I've been doing the practice a few times a day and ive cut my site reading time in half! I would give it a 5 star if they incorporate the entire grand staff at a time instead of bass and treble clef independently. Because it skips out on some notes

I don't have a clue. Good for drilling if you haven't forgotten where all the notes are completely.

Lin. M. Aug 25, 2015

When practicing notes, should be given the option to choose just treble or just bass (not mixed)

Would rather see a keyboard without the notes displayed to simultaneously help improve sight reading and also actual placement of each note on a keyboard. That could be an advanced level pehaps. Otherwise good practice to read notes.

Decent basic app for identifying note names. Like flash cards it doesn't relate them to the keyboard. Haven't figured out how to change clefs yet. Inclusion of c clefs was my main reason for grabbing it.

To the creators of this app. Thank you. This app is the best app I have tried in this genre and even better that it is opensource gnu. Keep up the good work. Only request if possible would be a nightmode

It's a nice little app. The minimalism gets a bit boring, but it serves its purpose well enough, so no real complaints.

Don. H. Sep 23, 2016

I love this app for its simplicity and ease of use. However, I recently bought a new device that does not have a standalone menu/settings button, and I cannot change anything (I only want to learn the treble cleff as I play guitar)

Ang. O. May 20, 2014

Nice and simple but missing sharps and flats. Also I prefer buttons to have piano key shape and position.

Its actually kinda fun, reminds me of don't touch the white tiles.

Does what the app is titled to do, would be nice if it played a music instrument sound with the correct note.

It does what it is supposed to do in a damn simple way and to the point.

Dap. W. Nov 2, 2015

Only suggestion is to maybe have a quiz with multiple notes say 3, because one needs to get used to reading several notes at a time.
