Music Studio

This is quite possibly the best app for those interested in playing the piano as with composing their own creations. I have tried, tested other apps and I have not come across a product that would compare with Music Studio. It is amazing, the options made available to the user. With no formal training, I have begun to compose my own songs, just by being able to spend time on the app and experience all that is available. I have begun to compose the rudimentary basics of a symphony. In one word: unbelievable. Sign me: extremely satisfied.

I absolutely love this app. However, I wish the Google play version was the same as the apple store version. The one difference I see between the both is that the Apple store version has the option to switch back and forth between a keyboard and a beat pad, while the Google play version does not. I would seriously like this to be adjusted. Thanks!

This is amazingly easy to use and powerful. Don't let the fact that this is a mobile app fool you. I write orchestral music and if I'm on the go, I'll use this app to write an orchestral sketch and then export to midi so I can then expand on Cubase. But even if this app is all you have, the instruments are amazingly real. You can compose an orchestral piece and have it sound pretty close to a real orchestra.

Omg. This app. Omg. Also, can I use a midi controller with this app? Running a galaxy note 4. I've recently undertaken animating. And one thing I find hard, is music I can honestly enjoy having played in the background due to the fact A lot of it isn't the same. This app has changed muh life. I'm not far along with the toon. But for what I have so far needed, musically, I've been able to provide for myself with this bamf of an app. It's a lot of fun dorking around with the keyboard and figuring out melodies. Also being able to record keyboard and input midis. This little monster makes making music, a snap. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to broaden their creative horizon. Studio is having difficulty importing samples to crop. the file only duplicates and takes up memory, making some experiences more about erasing extra sound samples. I like this app a lot tho. the assortment of instruments is excellent, and a few of the effects are cool as well.

I absolutely love this app. The virtual instruments all sound great, but all of the symphonic instruments go above and beyond what I'd expect to see in a mobile DAW. Whether you are just creating a catchy tune to help pass the time or putting hours upon hours into creating a masterpiece. My only complaint is that it seems the dev is no longer releasing updates... ):

My actual name is Douglas Bower, and I'm serious about quality I'm 61, and took 11yrs of daily piano and composition practise back in the 60s and 70s. This app is managed by Stienberg who also produced Cubasis. They have done such a good job here with Music Studio. You can make any Genre of music you wish. I feel privileged to have this and Cubasis I have everything I need on a portable device of course I use my iMac too but that does the uploading of my works. I wish I'd had this 40yrs ago .

As an experienced user of Logic, Cubase etc I found a few features were missing here to give me full range of control over my production. That being said, I love this software. Theres more here than I expected for this price. I have seen videos of the ios version and that has a vast amount of difference. If you have an iPad or other ios I suggest buying that version but for Android this is a blast to use. So user friendly and easy to navigate. It's a serious platform very impressed

It would be great if more instruments & effects were available as it's starting to feel limited. It's a great app for on the go but theres some things & sounds that I would love to be able to add without having to transfer into another daw. Can you please make this compatible with the genisis pro vst that is due out on the 12th of march this year?

This is nice. A bit more intuitive than Caustic. I touched the thing and about 3 min later had a song i wanted to save. Luckily you can transfer from demo to full. Very thoughtful you should make this more clear though.

This is my all-time favorite app. I have a suggestion. To make this app a 156,478 star rating, could you add multiple FX channels? What I mean is that there is only one. I want it to where instead of just one FX channel, I want it there to be an "FX" "FX1" "FX2" "FX3" That way I can make my music with higher quality and more complex. I appreciate your work, so far! I want a refund. The app is better when I use it on my iPhone 4s, it has pad for the drum pad, in this app I have to use keys from keyboard to play the drum. Does this app have different feature for different OS?? I remember when I used it on iPhone, I have this button to make chords, which I can't find in here, and also the sound is not smooth, there's noise when I touch that. Obviously not because my phone, because my current phone is note 9 which is way better than iPhone 4s. Please give my $

I would prefer if a drum machine was included into the app instead of just using a key board. Because it's very tricky trying to compose drum patterns,that's the only flaw this app has in my opinion.

A very good low cost portable DAW better versions on apple than android yet android is still a viable option only current downside is the lack of individual effect overlays or custom sound integration overall a good product if you're still learning or need something quick on the go

Promising. Almost every action on piano roll editor requires multiple steps. Could be greatly streamlined for efficient touch interaction. No recent updates and lagging behind features found in iOS version.

This app has a serious delay when a key is pressed which is very frustrating. wish there was a setting to fix that. Works perfect on iOS.

To much drag..need better up dated drums....more hip-hop drums 808..snares...808..909..kicks in hi hats..get in the game ..today's musical app studios are moving up the latter to improve there market product...in musical studios all over the internet..caustic...ban lab...FL studio..on in on with a wide selection of mustical studio apps.some with bad drums sounds..some with slow lacucity such as studio light...studio lite could be the best studio music app if it had some up graded drum sounds .

Love this music making app, prob the best i ever tried, its very professional in my opinion, also can there be a bit more insturments or more accessory percussion insturments and since im an android user i check the ios version of this and there more you can do, i wish those features are available for Android users. Other then that Awesome 😄

Very slow response of the keyboard, otherwise I like the other features. I have tried other Piano app and connect my midi keyboard, it works well. Why other app can do and this music studio cannot?

Excellent quality mobile DAW for android! The cost was well worth it too! Simple, yet thorough. Music Studio is a very helpful tool for making quality songs and demos!

I like this app a lot. I really need to be able to attach a midi keyboard controller, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there a suggested midi keyboard that works well with this? I have Samsung tablet.

Horrible. Where is the android update? It's horrible. I requested refund immediately. No way to play chords, huge audio latency, buttons getting stuck etc. It's not worth also no.support.on the forum.
