Works well in LG and Huawei devices. Integrates well with Spotify, PoweAmp, Google Play Music, and other compatible players. It is not a system equalizer because it only works integrated with players. For deeper louder bass just use the eq and turn down it's bass booster all the way. Tested on Logitech Z313 pc 2.1 speakers via a bluetooth music receiver.

I just download 5 different equalizer apps, thank god for unlimited data. Any way I found the kick in volume and clarity to be impressive , with all of the other apps I would shut it off while listening and my standard sound was better than what the app was supposed to be doing, but this thing actually does something,.... finally!!

I've tried all other equalizers and for some reason they would eventually stop working after browsing through my songs in Spotify. This had gone on for over a year and 3 different brands of phones. I read that MusicFX is the default plugin for Android. This plug in conflicts with 3rd party EQ's, causing them to fail. On some Android phones you can uninstall this, but I don't see it as an app or service on my phone. So, by uninstalling any other 3rd party EQ, then installing this MusicFX app and launchi

Stumbled across this and noticed it is updated from version included in Nexus 7. Disabled that and installed this. EQ response is much better and interface is improved. Add more bands(could use say a 500 hz slider in between for small speakers) and support audio formats like AAC+ for 5 stars. For those who say it don't work, RTFM! It is called and used by other apps as it says. It is not standalone, rather a plugin.

The problem I found after I downloaded this app is the fact that the HTC One M8 does not hav the option for an equalizer. The Harman kardon system has its own equalizer built in and as far as I can tell, it's inaccessible.

How I love this app! Works so smoothly, perfectly on my android music players on cellphone & tablet. Dramatic increase in sound volume, clarity, bass & surround effects. Constantly working with no distorted or scratchy sounds. So light & easy on memory & battery use. What a way to enjoy music!

for everyone saying it does nothing: you need to open the equalizer settings INSIDE a music player app like Google Play Music

Doesn't work in the Samsung galaxy S4. Recently the device said that it has a device update. But after updating the device the equalizer comes with the standard music player doesn't respond. Then I installed this application too. Unfortunately it also doesn't work. tell me a way to fix this. Thank you so much and I'm waiting for your reply.

Excellent solution for G6 owners who use Google Play Music as primary music player. Before this app I lost access to the equalizer. Thanks!

This app seems to do fvvck all. It made no difference whatsoever to the equaliser in my s6 edge plus.

Imr. H. Jan 21, 2015

Already said on the tin, it will not show the eq, cause the app integrate itself with all built in music player..

The only drawback is it doesn't have have much option to customise .. but once you switch on this it doesn't needs to switch on again and again unlike many other app ...For example bass booster and equaliser

I have default sound effect snapdragon+ I already installed Android Music Player JRTStudio when I choose sound effect, it always snapdragon+, so I must disable default MusicFX first on running app. now default change to this app.

Call me a snob but this app needs a facelift. Loved it on my Nexus when it followed the ICS design guidelines but on its own it's hard to look at. Works great though but with Lolipop here there's no reason to look so atrocious.

They should not put unnecessary descriptions such as the app having a reverb function even if it doesn't have it. It misleads those who are looking for equalizer apps that has reverb function.

Wouldn't let me change any settings, don't get this app +it wouldn't let me bump up the volume in any setting poorly made.

Must have apps for moto g2. I tried many apps and only this one seems working on my moto g2 Spotify .Very clear sound though its a 5 band equaliser. Could be better, if it will get 10 band equaliser . thanks for such a lovely app . Hope we will get more updates in near future and good luck .

Really this app only deserve 4$tar.because this app cant work YouTube .many app make u fool but this is good

Mic. G. Feb 11, 2016

Great sound & minimal permissions. I don't like having to recalibrate the equalizer for each app and would prefer global settings.

Cam. N. Dec 15, 2014

Don't waste time to download already on 4.0+ devices and u cannot edit sound etc.

Wil. A. Feb 11, 2015

Lollipop LG G3. Presets have noneffect. Manual changes spring back to flat. YMMV

Jam. F. Aug 18, 2014

It would be nicer if it looked as nice as the MusicFX that some manufacturers put in (without the branding in the UI), and sometimes it crashes and restarts while playing music.
