I love the metronome, which is all I wanted in the app. I love the granular control over beats, accents and sub-beats. Makes it easier to practice odd time signatures, and make an audible demo of a groove. I don't care about the tuner, and I don't understand the piano function. Metronome alone is worth 5 stars, but I can't find an easy way to exit the app. Seems to be in permanent full screen mode, and it hides the phone's navigation button. Please add a setting to switch off full-screen.
So close to being an unmatched all-in one app! Two simple problems are holding it back though, making it pretty much unusable for me: 1. Metronome sound cannot be changed, and to me is super annoying/in your face. Just want a click option or something. Other comments have alluded to this 2. On Galaxy S10, the piano keys register lower than where I tap. It's like I have to tap the top half of the circle to get the right note to play - otherwise the one below it plays Will totally use if fixed!!
Great app minus one small problem. The metronome skips a beat if the screen on my phone switches from landscape to portrait or vice versa. If you could lock the screen orientation on the app or just fix the beat skip, it would be perfect. (Note - it may already have this feature and I just haven't seen it.)
It's clear a lot of love has been put into this app, thank you! I like the design of the interface aesthetically. My only critism is the layout seems to be slightly overcomplicated. Like I can acces the menu from swiping from the top down, swiping from the left right, or arrow button. Perhaps this is for accessibility reasons, though perhaps a single button would be easier? No complaints otherwise, I like the piano feature too
Great and easy to use. Beautiful design. The tuner may need some improvement. There is a relatively large latency in tuner. Longer time may help in improving algorithm accuracy, but I can no longer check my tune when practising the violin. You may would like to refer to soundcorset for what a tuner should feel like.
I'm super happy with this app, for long time I was searching for a good tuner and I installed almost 10 apps, definitely this one is the best, is super easy to configure, u can change the colours and the range of the tune, is simple and just what I need, honestly I don't use much the other features so I only talk about the tuner
This would be perfect if the accent on first beat could be turned off. However, it is grayed out. Why? Update: I found the way to turn off accent beats. Tap on the first beat dot and a window will open. You can turn off the accent from there.
Best app for musicians with lots of perks which I haven't seen in any other app like lots of metronome sounds to choose from an accurate tuner. And it's great with no ads or app crashes . I just wish if they could add French note selection ( Do Re Mi ... )
Metronome is well-designed, but it needs an option to route clicks to the speaker even if the phone is connected on Bluetooth in order to minimize lag between the (Bluetooth) sound and the animation.
Lovely loud metronome, perfectly audible on a phone speaker while I practice violin. Most metronome apps are too low in volume and thus are completely overpowered by my violin which makes them useless. But this metronome is perfect.
it ia great to switch bewteen keyboard and metronume, and features are simple and useful. Just one suggestion, it would be great to put all features of metronume on the the same page of piano, and change keyboard you have now to regular piano keyboard.
HI GUYS, THANKS FOR THE BEST METRONOME APP EVER!!!... OTHERS THAT I HAVE TRIED IN THE PAST CAN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF THIS ONE!!!... I AM A PROFESSIONAL MUSIC EDUCATOR VERSED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE FIELD. THANKS FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND THE PROFESSIONAL MANNER IN WHICH YOU HANDLE YOUR DETRACTORS. (Some people do need to be pointed in the right direction). THANKS AGAIN, RICHIE ☺️
This app is very good. It has up to 800 bpms and it helps musicians like me to test my limit. It is a very good app. It is a must download. Very good. I've never come across any metronome like this before. Great app.❤
I like the tuning feature. I dislike the tinny sound of the metronome, and the flashing screen could cause a seizure.
I don't know how to describe it. It's unique. For a violinist and composer That requires quick access to the metronome and tuner or diapazone Or he wants to try a part of the melody he doubts. Thank you very much and thank you very much, my dear programmer. DR:A.BAKHSHA 05.10.2020
Really great app for subdivisions. Would be really good if it also had playlist so you could chain different subs and tempo together
Clean, functional! This is the best metronome tuner app I have ever used. The decelopers really know what musician needs. This app doesn't have ads.
Just a great precise tuner and digital metronome with some limited inexpensive add-ons. Very nice and small application.
This is the best metronome I tried to play with! Tick counter, play time counter, changeable sound, very big speed allowed and etc! Great!!
As a piano teacher, this is the best metronome app I've ever used! The sound is loud enough, and classic. Also, it's very easy to use.
A very solid tool, but you have to pay for about 35% of it. By the way, in the tuner under the icon it says "Equal temperament". Does that mean I can change the tuning? And how?
It has everything a musician needs. Great app! No ads, and some useful in-app purchases.
Awesome app. Have been looking for a plain chromatic tuner for a while. The metronome and piano are a bonus for me.
Really good app, i love everything about it! But the sound of the subbeats is giving me a headache...
Very nice and accurate metronome.... Nice acoustic piano. (And it's not five star it's six hundred stars)
No ads, has a metronome, tuner, and piano? Best casual app for a musician I've ever seen!
I find the Scarlet app to be lovely and functional! I appreciate being able to use the app on a truly FREE basis, while still getting a good range of functionality. The "stacked" octave, polyphonic keyboard is an interesting concept (reminds me of using organ ranks), but that coveted 5th star ⭐ could be gained if the keyboard 🎹 could rotate to a single, 3-octave spam keyboard when the phone is rotated to landscape in the FREE version. Thanks!
