This is the single best offline music player out there. I've tried several music players to find one matching my needs (tho they aren't really that high, that was a questionably hard quest to do), and came to the conclusion that this is what I was looking for. It is 100% ad-free and definitely the most customizable music player I've ever seen. I've got nothing to complain so far, so a 5 stars rating it is.
An elegant and highly configurable offline/local music player, that supports almost any audio format, plus gap-less playback, making it perfect for live albums. The sheer number of GUI and control options means you might spend time setting it up, auto-backup is included, but the end result is a player that looks and works the way you want. Flawless operation on Android 12 and no adverts. If only more apps could be this well thought out.
Lightweight, simple, yet robust and full featured. Does everything I need with a straight forward and intuitive interface. Strong folder and playlist support, and very good Android Auto integration. I didn't even need the pro features, but I went ahead and bought it to support this player. Thanks!
love the app and I've been using it for years. I have a problem though, because i remember there being a setting where you could make it cycle back to the first queue after the last queue ended. now my music just stops and i can't find any setting to get back to what i loved. i will switch back to 5 stars when this is fixed.
Exactly what I was looking for. Handles a large(ish) collection of 80,000 odd files located on an SD card without a stutter, which is sadly something my beloved VLC struggled with. It's a shame that casting is a "pro" feature, but I was so giddy that the app does everything else I need well, I didn't begrudge the one-off $2 payment. Very happy, cheers!
The best music player I've used so far and aguably the best. I've used this app for 3 years and I love it. It has features you wont find in most mp3 player apps. My only concern is the removal of the balance feature on earphones after the new update. Please bring it back. Highly recommend. Good work developers.
I think that this is a great app to play music in. I love the sorting features of the music you have downloaded and the overall design is very compact and easy to figure out. The only thing that is a problem when I use it is the fact that after I download something locally, it tends to duplicate the song more than once, even after I delete the duplicate songs. Overall, great app!
Seems like a good app, just about on par with VLC. Both have their irritants, and my particular bone to pick with this app is that it doesn't appear in the Media Control section, which means that it doesn't show up on the peek displays for Motorolas. Additionally, the UI feels kind of cluttered and there aren't enough customizable options to clean it up. Your mileage mag vary. By far one of the most powerful media players I've used so far, second only to VLC (which has its own "quirks")
Can the developer contact me for this unique issue I have with this app? I have never ever seen this before. I loved this app before a recent update. I will be playing a song, and maybe 38 seconds to 1 minute in, it will play the next song in the queue WHILE the timer and title from the previous song is still displaying. It's the most odd thing I've ever seen. Edit 3/12: I've updated to latest and will try again today. Edit 2: this bug seems to be fixed. Yay! Thank you for the reply!
I was a little disappointed when I upgraded to a Galaxy S22 and found out that it wouldn't play any of my WMA files. This app saved me from having to re-rip or convert all my WMA files. It works well with a clean interface and lots of features and is not cluttered with ads. I've since deleted my other non-streaming music apps and just use this.
Every so often a music app comes along that is a bit off the chart. Musicolet is amazingly generous in options. It uses a lot of icons in controls (which means you might have to think a bit to learn how to use it.) So far for me... It works quite well. Oh yes, I have used it with bluetooth on both my headphones and home stereo-pc with success. It has not annoyed me or wasted my time with frivolous updates & accompanying bugs. Cudos to the devoted authors.
Ok hear me out, I found a bug whever I play a song, and sometimes it skips like 3 seconds of the song, not from the start of the song, in the middle of a ssong. For example, let's say a song last 3 mins, and I have listened upto 1:03, it will randomly skip 3 seconds of that song and this happens occasionally, my assumption is audio delay but it's the same with loudspeaker, it's infuriating. Also I already tried it the song in my phone's built in music player and the song works perfectly fine.
Update! They really went all out with the equalizer! I now have access up to 31 bands. Not only that it manages clipping very well as providing the option of headroom adjustment. It's amazing! Better than any other 3rd party EQ and completely overshadows all other players. Amazing!! ++Old.Review++ Really amazing music player. I love the UI a whole lot plus no annoying ads! The only shortcoming in my opinion is the Equalizer, I really wish I could tune frequencies lower than 60hz.
I only wish I'd discovered this sooner. Lots of options to customise almost everything and things like music stats that I find interesting. I love that it's completely offline/no ads and after trying the free version I happily paid the small fee to fully upgrade (upgrading doesn't unlock anything important but I wanted to support the devs). It's not very flashy but there's just so much functionality once you get the hang of things and I definitely haven't played around with everything yet.
Hi just writing to say I love this music player and have been using it for years and even paid for the advanced features. But one thing I would love is a way to filter out audio above a certain length (or does it exist already?), as I often have podcasts and such downloaded on my phone as MP3 and it would be Nice to automatically exclude them from the general playlist. Thanks for all the hard work put into this app ☺️
I have tried many music players but this one is so different from the others. The only thing that i can say about this app is that it is so perfect. The design is wonderful. The sistem and control is so smooth. I have one suggestion which is to make more widgets with different styles like a circle or a small square. That is surely will make the app one of the best music players.
Most of the time, I can play my tunes on my new Sansung (use to have this on an LG) for hours, but, once in a while, it will shut down, and I'll get a message saying that Samsung has got a feature that puts apps running in the background to sleep, and, if I want it to stop I need to go to "settings-battety-power usage" and add it to the "never sleep" thing. Problem is, this isn't listed anywhere there or anywhere in that area. Help!
By far, this is one of the greatest music app I've ever used to play the songs save locally. It has the best customisation for power users. Althoug, one feature I would ask for is Tasker app integration. So whenever my Bluetooth gets connected, it can play a song or playlist automatically. I know it will increase complexity but you have already given this much customisation so why not one more?
Very good app bro. Dragging as you advised worked but kept loosing it. Had to try a few times. Can I suggest once a song/songs have been selected provide a option to move to the top of playlist as new songs always go on the top. This will make it easier. Just my suggestion 🙏 Just dragged 45 new songs that were added. Really a pain mate but otherwise an excellent app.
Edit⁴: ty for the reply! Here's what happens: whenever I connect to my car on USB, Musicolet starts muted or gets muted after some time. The song keeps playing, but no audio. Then I have to play some media with another app, pause and play again on Musicolet. The mentioned feature is turned off for all apps. Any other ideas? :(
You guys had me at "Completely offline" Thank you! Also why is this the first music app I see that lets you set a threshold for remembering the positions in songs? (say, if you set it to 15 minutes, you should be offered to pick up your podcasts and long mixes where you left them, but single songs will be left alone) Like, this is genius. Didn't even know I wanted it.
