A very good recipe book but I can't find it in the play store on my Samsung Galaxy 21+. Not understanding that but the recipes or easy to read and follow.
You should make the search function easier to find

Found Lots of Great Recipes
Great for beginner cooks like myself. Easy to follow recipes with great pictures. I love how the shopping list is organized for me by groups so I don't have to walk back and forth looking for things. Great amount of recipes for a free app. One thing I would change is the option to make your own groups in the shopping list or at least let us change where the ingredients go because the milk is listed under 'other' instead of 'dairy'
you must pay for each recipe, you cannot even see the ingredients.... only after paying you will realize if the recipe you bought could be useful or interesting for you or not. Furthermore, the recipes looks to be a collection of standard stuff, nothing really brilliant nor particular.... have fun with this!
Most of the free recipes are off the wall stuff my kids wouldn't touch if you paid them. What's with all the 'apricot glazed' stuff? If you want normal 'home cooking' recipes you have to really dig through the odd ball ones or pay for the category or recipe. I don't mind paying but I expected a little more from Better Homes. A sampler from categories like casseroles for example would have helped me rate this higher.
I downloaded this app a long time ago on my old galaxy S blaze... and I loved it, all the recipes and everything. I still like it, I'm just kinda peeved that after I got a new phone, all the add-on's for 99¢ that I bought prior are no longer on there, meaning I have tho buy them again. That isn't right to me, even Angry Birds had all the levels that were previously unlocked, still unlocked.
As the kids say a crap-ton of recipes. But alas the recipe I really want still eludes me it was in a paperback edition of either better homes or betty Crocker in early 90s. Supreme cheesecake
My copy of this book from 1982 has my favorite recipes in it. My dissapointment is that they changed the ingredients. My book is literally falling apart. Well it is over 32 years old. But why change an already perfect recipe. So, in the spirit of change and hope 3 stars is what it's worth right now.
It is easy to use and has the basics. Quite a variety of recipes for any cook. Some are very simple, while others are more fussy. I seem to keep using it each week as a reference for other recipes too. Have used at least 15 recipes I've liked! Thanks.
I would give this five stars, but for whatever reason, the downloads are really slow on my tablet. Ignore the whiners, 99 cents is a cheap price for over 100 recipes! It costs these companies money to develop these apps. A recipe book you can easily take with you, Great!! Thanks BH&G!
I only gave this an extra star because you can see some categories but the rest you have to pay for! Make everything free and people might be more willing to get this app and use it! I'm sticking to my other app the has more recipes, all good quality, and FREE!
Why give a free app and then charge for every recipe. I hate you guys so much, as soon as I'm done posting this its uninstalled. GARBAGE.
The organized format and layout is wonderful, app processes quickly too with so much available information at your fingertips.
Not as many recipes as some other apps and they want you to pay for extra collections, but what I've had of the free recipes has been good.
I Love the offline access of reciepies. But, best reciepies are paid once so this loose one star from me.
How can you have a cook book and don't include baked ziti, fail,
If you want to browse recipes this isn't the app for you. You must purchase every recipe. Hardly worth the time to download.
Every time I see something I like about this topic you have to pay 99 cents ever time and it makes me so mad , I would not recommend or download this app unless you want to pay 99 cents for ever Good Category in that cook book very disappointed:( bad cooking book it was supposed to be hundreds of free recipes...
... to Bigger and Better technology of cellular devices and tablets, this app is of no longer any use to me anymore. It was fine while I had it. What am I to do with it now? Am I to ask the Sprint salesman to allow me to use my old cell phone from 2011 when I need to use this app to save me the trip of using an actual cook book in my kitchen? Isn't this the point of advancement in technology?! This is the point of moving forward with innovation... Yes, the question was rhetorical and need not be answered. Yes, I paid for this app and it is adherently useless now. Don't bother buying if you expect to continue on reaping the benefits in the future. There are no short cuts. Just buy an actual cookbook and let the flour dust particles fall where they may.
I have always used my BHG cookbooks ln my kitchen now I can just use my tablet, thanks. It is so easy
This is the future of cooking magazines. There is a reason this is a trusted name in cooking, all the recipes tried have been good. I just wish they would offer more new additions more often.
This is one of the Best magazine. Also has lots of great recipes, great ideas for homes, Also things for kids to do.
This is very useful. The shopping list feature is very helpful with ingredients that are not usually stocked. The only criticism I have is that the resolution of the photos is not as high as it should be. The photos are all well done though. I definitely recommend this app.
I just downloaded this app. Every time, doesn't matter so which recipe I choose, it does NOT open . #Disappointed
Didn't have the plain bread pudding recipe I had in my old (twenty years ago) BHG cookbook.
My mom and i have made some of the recipes and they turned out amazing. I would get it if were you
Btw to the ones that are looking for free recipes. There are free recipes all over the web. Not to mention the creative ideas in your mind. Everyone knows the flavors out there by what they have eaten through life. Just mix and match lol. How many stars would you rate yourself?
The best recipe app I've found. I use it all the time. It's easy to search by ingredient, notes can be added, the instructions are clear. I have bought all but one of the chapters (I don't grill, so I skipped that one) and it was worth it.
