Just a few quick suggestions... The first is to choose if light goes around, or simple bars that move up and down to the beat at the top or bottom or both. The second is to put the app on a timer so it stops itself at particular time, a chosen battery level or even auto open and close when certain apps are selected. Thanks for the time to read this and your consideration regarding my opinion.
I really like this app, but there are a couple things I'd add. First, the AOD settings could use an option for how long before it takes over the screen. For example, if you have your screen set to turn off after 1 minute, but the AOD does it at 30 seconds. Second, I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd love an option to keep the edge lighting on all the time, even when I'm just on my home screen. Besides that, great, well made app!
I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro so I expected the phone to be able to work with this app very well. Maybe it's just because it's a new phone and there hasn't been time to update the app to work for it but unfortunately it only turns on for about 3-5 seconds before shutting off and the app tells me it can't access the vfx layer fory phone so it can't produce the effects. The AOD screens look nice and sometimes the effects work on there but that's about it. Which is a shame because I paid for it.
This is a really great app, though I have one problem with the fingerprint setting for Always On Display. Since the new update, sometimes when I do a fingerprint scan, my phone unlocks but the AOD won't go off unless I double tap the screen. Overall, I've got no major problems with this amazing app
needs an easy way to temporarily disable, maybe an on/off button from the notif tray or a widget or something. don't like it on when im listening to videos or podcasts. love it for what it is otherwise, surprisingly really well optimized and doesn't run the battery much
I feel this is the most decent job out there in this category. Definitely improvements and some features could be added to make this mandatory to have for personalization freaks: 1) Edge lights for notifications/ calls, 2) A greater range of graphics like in Muviz 3) I loved the dynamic Colour picker, the one that changes the colours of your graphics based on the album colours. Maybe that could be applied to the AOD based on wallpaper colours etc. I did get premium because I'm impressed! Kudos!
I love the lights. Especially the corner option. The idea of them being for music & not just notifications is very innovative. Great potential for the app. Although more free options would be better & the aod isn't very attractive to me, like at all.
Not sure what to exactly put, but it works Few issues sometimes but I really enjoy having this It would be nice if you could define both the top and bottom corners seperately because they're different on my device
So far so good ... I had the one plus and I love the idea of controlling the music with the screen off .. one plus users you know that God sent feature . However no other phone has it and this is the closest I come with AOD .. I can drive my old car and don't have to do too much to play next track.. going to spend my 3.99 right now ..
Instant replacement for my always on display. Loving it! Been pretty smooth so far and it's kinda worth paying for the customisation. Just hope that the app remembers the license that we bought even after it is reinstalled.
Amazing app... Using the free version for now.. I might even buy it, it's Soo good.. initial impression...wow! Flawless so far except .... The overlay issues with some apps..would be nice to have permanent app whitelist/blacklist for overlay.! Would be just TOP!
Request: ability to adjust the settings what the screen edge visualizer is picking up from the audio. For example, more emphasis on the base.
Really cool but could definitely be better. You should make it so you can apply multiple effects at a time so you're able to make cool custom combos, and you should be able to apply the 'Glow' effect to everything, as that looks really cool. One last thing; The effects are sort of innacurate compared to the actual audio, sometimes it will keep moving around even after my music has stopped.
1. It's lovely and I like the customisations. There is plenty! 2. Works on my Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra without issues. Installed it last night and played some music without it being killed or anything which I guess is a good win. 3. The album art visualiser works nicely except for when I go back to the previous track. It doesn't revert back to colour of that track art. Possible bug? Moving forward works well. 4. Sometimes it prevents me from interacting with some apps like the Play Store.
Everyone who has a phone with edge lighting should download this app right now! Not a ton of options, but enough to keep it from growing stale. Super simple and user friendly UI, and even mostly simple patterns, which gives a nice laid back feel. Definitely makes your phone more pleasing to look at, even if it is just a small accent around the screen?
I would not even bothered if i knew it wasn't going to do anything. My phone has AOD settings and some nice clocks to choose from etc. I wanted something that work with the stock music player. Installed muviz and changed all appropriate/required settings and yet nothing happened when my screen times out. Useless, if i could leave a negative rating then I'd do that.
It's nice when it works. Unfortunately, it rarely does. Continually gives the error "Unable to access Audio FX layers on your device, without which visualizer can't be generated." Tried all the troubleshooting I could and could not get it to reliably work. Shame, it's a cool app.
Keep up the great work on the app. Love using it in my downtime when I just want to listen to music, and jam out. Adds that extra layer of FX.
the visualisations cease being displayed quite often, so it's necessary to force stop the app and reopen it.. sometimes the app itself shows a message in red text explaining why the Viz can't be displayed anymore, and some suggestions to fix the issue.. it's not the ideal experience but the rest works as intended, I would just strongly recommend the developers to improve the persistence of the service without impacting the the energy usage too much
Genuinely one of the best AOD apps out there. The AoD selection is a bit limited yes but each one looks absolutely stellar and I love it. P.S: Please let us choose our own music apps. Amazing app still

Needs more animations, although app works pretty well, slightly complicated at the beginning to use but otherwise works.. Ps add 2 more free ones.
Great app! I wish I had something like this for my computer. But serious suggestion; THE AOD NEEDS TO BE A SYSTEM SCREENSAVER OPTION! And I would like the option to AOD only activate when I'm charging AND listening to music
Really cool application, except it doesn't seem to work with Spotify (my main streaming application) even after allowing permissions. Would update to 5 stars if this is fixed.
Realme x7 pro screen keeps turning on after locking. Seems Moviz tries to on the display in order to show animations but screen keeps turing on and off and animations doesnt appear.
Doesn't synchronize visualizations with Spotify (or any other app), I have samsung phone. Pls help.
App features are great. However there are issues with it on my oneplus 9R. When the AOD is on, the notifications don't actually come on full screen, they come on a banner as if my phone is not locked. Secondly the AOD clock appears even when proximity sensor is in effect due to being on call. These need to be fixed ASAP.
A good app. A personal request would be to allow custom colors from album covers/wallpaper to also be used in the always on display.
Recent updates made the automatic album color selection more accurate compared to before. No more glitched yellows or orange glows on mainly red album covers. Nice work
Finally. After searching countless apps I stumbled on Always On: Edge and I love this app. Super easy set up and my lock screen looks amazing! No more ugly Android clock staring at me. Now I can customize my screen in many different ways and the music lights are right in tune with my music. Beautiful colors and very fun to customize. One time fee of $3.99 and I have more options. Definitely recommend this app. The search is finally over!! A-1 job fellas.
