Been using this app with the cobblestone Wi-Fi Audio Receivers for years to get multi room support, this was way before the likes other devices exsisted. It did a great job for its time and supported Spotify as well as being compatible with my home media server and I had up to 4 rooms all working great. I started investing in other smart home devices over the past 3 years so it was no longer required, however after just now pulling it back out after all this time it is still working flawlessly.
Recieved the speaker as a gift exchange for Christmas and honestly I am so happy I didn't have to spend money on it. The wifi connection doesn't work. Nothing works. I have bluetooth speakers that I'm just going to keep using instead of this. Very frustrating to try and set up until you realize the app is completely useless. I'm disappointed but I'll stick with my bluetooth speakers that take 5 seconds to connect.
It works good on Tune In, still having a issue with iHeartRadio, but I finally have my icraig Wi-Fi speakers working!
Not very intuitive. As other reviewers have noted you are limited to your music services. It will not allow you to simply play whatever you want that you have playing on the phone. For instance, this does not support amazon music. Al in all a rather pathetic effort with this app.
I'd prefer manufacturers just let the speaker connect to the phone and the phone plays whatever it wants. This is restricted to what's in the app, which you can't control unless you're in the app like volume and skipping a song. Doesn't have Google play music as an option either.
Many stations will not keep a continuous stream and intermittantly disconnect. Also when attempting to search Amazon Music within the WiiM app, the app crashes every time. Just a very unrealiable, glitchy app, bottom line. Needs to be sold to a company that knows what they're doing.
App and device are a little tricky to setup, but worth the effort when you do. Early days but alexa works well; hope own skills can be added. Speaker quality is adequate. Great control through the app; being able to switch to bluetooth or line-in remotely is ace. Wish there were more music services and Spotify worked within the device instead of having to route through phone, & being an Amazon product my Google play library is rendered useless, but pleasantly pleased with the soft & hardware
Cannot find all my purchased songs on Qobuz. It only displays a limited amount & when you download songs the last one at the bottom of the list disappears, Also the app displays some of my downloaded albums & crashes everytime I try to select them. So frustrating please fix!!!
This is the worst app I've ever used in my life. I have just brought 14 speakers for my home, cut holes in my ceiling and none of the speakers will connect. There is no help or advice on how to solve the problem so now I'm out of pocket and going to have to install something else. Is there anyone else that can help me to solve my problem before I spend more ? But I would recommend that not to purchase anything that uses MUZO APP because its not worth the stress.
Only installed this because the software is able to stream a music library on the network to iFi Pro iDSD. The software sees DSD files, but will not stream them. Add the feature and the software might get a higher rating. i.e. go talk to the hardware manufacturers.
Keeps dropping WiFi connection which is a pita to keep reconnecting and can't seem to get rid of the pulsing rings. Having to use an echo input to make it compatible with multi room, shame this wasn't compatible on its own.
Since the last update that "fixed internet connection problems" my BUSH speaker will not connect no matter what I do, Nothing has changed password wise I just came home and it would not connect.. I haven't had a problem the whole time I've had it and now it's playing up after the update that was supposed to fix a non existent problem!
The procedure for connecting to speakers via WiFi is not entirely clear. Tunein radio has been removed and the latest app version says new firmware is required, but there are no instructions how to do this. I have a Studio 19 speaker [E600_1064] (from Indiegogo) which uses MUZO. I live in South Africa and iHeartRadio does not work here. So I cannot get any radio stations to play over the speaker WiFi. Please can you advise what to do? Is there a way to insert at radio url onto the speaker?
Totally bummed. Cheap buy, expensive to use. Not advertised but can only use the Muza app and that app only works with subscription based services ie Iheart radio, Spotify, Tidal, maybe a total of 5 or 6 options.
Purchased the 2-pack wi-fi speaker system by I Craig and now that I have set it up. I have come to find out that the app that is needed to use these wifi speakers is extremely limited! I cannot stream YouTube or Pandora to these I Craig Wi-Fi speakers. I don't use any of the other services "which you can count on one hand" that the app supports. So basically these brand new wifi speakers are useless and would serve the purpose of being a paperweight at this point. Poor decision by ICRAIG.
I have an auvisio multiroom smr 500. The app doesn't ask for WiFi password/settings. Neither does it state the correct speakers (only Bush and cobblestone available). Can't use the speakers with the WiFi nor the app
Works pretty well with my iFi Dac! Simple to use and stable. 2 things I'd love to see is better internet radio support and when using dlna it should load all entries in the picker vs the "load more" approach. Fix this and I'd give it 5 stars
Ap loses connection, won't reconnect, makes horrible noises while connecting. Uninstalled multiple times. Very disappointed in Pyle for making this the only ap to play music on a soundbar.
No longer supports Tunein Radio which makes it pointless in UK now. All other apps cannot be used in UK. Muzo was once rubbish..then got better and is now totally toilet.
Easy to use with step by step instructions and user manual with the wifi speakers I purchased allows you to connect up to 10 different wifi speaker systems in the same room to amplify as a surround system or control the speakers and what they play in ten different rooms pretty awesome I tried using google home to connect all my devices but was having difficulty....
FIX THE CONNECTION PROBLEMS Im sitting here trying to connect to my speakers and usually dont even get to use them. Consistently searching but even tho i hooked 2 speakers up it already but it doesnt find them!!!!!!
A struggle to connect. App is clumsy. Definitely made my speaker purchase virtually worthless. Also can't send an email for help. Beyond pissed...
tunein just gives me a load fail no matter what station I try to select. It started doing this recently. I have 6 Muzo devices and all do the same.
If you own a Linkplay speaker or wifi adapter, Muzo is a really solid way to control it. Easy setup and very useful.
Use to work!, now the app don't have tunelnradio, that use to be an excellent option.. The only source now is iheartradio, that doesn't work!.. Unfortunately
Terrible app wish I could leave less than a star!!! I'm returning the speakers and never purchase anything that requires muzo. Every music service that I have isn't supported by this ridiculous piece of sh**. I pay for those services, I'm not going to purchase another just to use these speakers. Getting something else. Oh and connecting was fine after I factory reset it. After that it might as well be a paperweight!
