MVI myKey™

The myKey™ app allows tenants of an apartment buildings to interact with the kiosk intercom installed in the lobby of their building. They can hold one way video or two way video conversations with visitors at the door, and can grant them entry to the building. The app also can receive video voice mails left for the resident at the front door lobby kiosk.

Overall function and convenience. See who is at the door before opening, even if you're not there. App also comes in handy regarding building notifications. The app freezes occasionally and sometimes it's difficult to key in information on the mvi mykey screen if it is raining. But overall, functions solidly. And is very convenient.

Decent interface and functionality but a few glaring bugs. Often, instead of displaying as a notification in the app when someone bugs, I recieve a voice call with no connection to the app to open the door. Using the physical interface on my front gate, the system occasionally blue screens and locks everyone out. When my phone is on silent, the notification from the app plays over the loudspeaker.

App interface sucks and is clumsy. Half the time it calls through my phone, not the app, even if I'm inside my home. When it does manage to go thru app, I can't tap it as it pops up to open the app, i have to go to the notification first. Lobby intercom is constantly broken, today has been ringing for 30 min non stop. Sometimes the camera feature shows us someone else who rang previously, not the current person calling. Garbage. In reply to developer: it's both, clearly you didn't read the first part that mentions when the app notifies me. We also know the actual hardware is not working as well, they have been in to fix it several times (it was completely blacked out for over 5 days last week)

The app crashes and freezes constantly and does not notify me when people ring or call from the door. I miss having an actual intercom that works. The app is also big, and requests for support are meet with useless bot emails suggesting things like "update the app" or "reboot your phone." Update: The app is even less stable than before. I can't even log in, even after retting my password repeatedly. I cannot enter my own apt without bothering a neighbor. Worthless app and worthless support.

This app has its hiccups at times but it is really reliable. It allows my family and I the luxury of having access to our building from our phones. There have been times where we are away and are still able to let delivery people into our building, reducing the risk of missing packages. This app gives us a level of convenience and freedom that we haven't had at other apartments.

App hardly ever works. Most calls come in as a phone call, not through the app. When they do, it often shows me a still image of the person who entered the building on the call before mine which causes a lot of confusion. Intercom is constantly out of service in the lobby, despite only being a few months old.

The app loads a name and address I don't recognize when I log on, and then malfunctions until it crashes which is bar far its best feature atm. I uninstalled and will reinstall to see if that fixes the issue. The system at the apt is also glitching by resetting resident profiles every 24 hrs causing long lines while folks reenter their name etc. Lol a lot of 🤬 Update: 01.12.2021- My leasing office was finally able to issue 3 working key fabs, has the correct apt linked with access to the app

Only allows one user to be logged in, so shared logins are a nightmare. The bluetooth isn't automatic, forcing you to log in each time. Also the box has blue screened so we couldn't get in twice. Also for when not logged in, it pushes to a call which you can't unlock the door for

This app ha glitches. It deleted itself from my phone while I was trying to use it. So then I was stuck outside bc it takes long to download. Once downloaded it denied me access. Told me my username and password was incorrect. Ok. So I reset it. It asked me for my security answer. It accepted it and gave me the ok to reset the pw. Then told me the security answer was wrong. Like cmon. Now I'm stuck and I can't get in and out the bldg. Tech support doesn't respond timely

The app is versatile and easy to use. Visitor entry is well thought out. Bluetooth entry works most of the time but tough to open while hands are full because of the multiple steps and while other bluetooth devices are connected .

I use this app on the regular. I like how I can use it offline to get in the building. I also enjoy the visitor key feature. I'm glad they fix the time stamps because I almost had an argument with my partner about it. He showed me the time stamp was wrong. I am glad MVI myKey corrected that in their recent update.

I'm thoroughly enjoying not having to get out of bed to let my food delivery person in my apartment building. Outside of my laziness, it's really helpful to see who's actually ringing my bell. Before, some visitors would buzz every single bell to see if someone would open the door for them. Now visitors have to intentionally pick an apartment.

Sometimes the app is a little slow and the call will come through as a phone call rather than through the app. Otherwise, it works pretty well and is convenient.

Expected that with Bluetooth I can open the door, not. In order to do that, you need to open this app and only then it will allowed to use it, suck. Doesn't make any sense if your hands are full with shopping bags.

Won't let me sign in. I've reinstalled the app four times now, changed my password and every time I try to login it says "login error." I can't let people in, nor do I know if people are at my door.

This app is not user-friendly and there is no customer support when you need it. You can be locked out of your home or workplace for days while using this app. You should also consider issues of personal safety while you are using this app. You will be safer carrying keys or a key fob to access your home or workplace. Given the increase in crime statistics allover New York City, now is the wrong time to use this app.
