My Affirmations

I love that I can just make my own Affirmations and the images provided are great backgrounds. The widget is nice and I like going through my playlist. The improvements I would like to see would be to have more options with notifications, like being able to set a notification playlist that would go off periodically throughout the day with different Affirmations instead of just once in the morning. I would also like to be able to go back to the previous image when watching a playlist.

I love this app! You can create your own affirmations and can even set how loud your affirmations and music are when playing! It also plays when the screen is off, which is great for sleeping while listening to your affirmations!!! You can even upload your music to play as well! It may look simple but it is a lovely, and might I add, FREE, app!

After the most recent update, I lost all of the affirmations I added. I've had the app for a while, so I had tons of quotes saved, and I just noticed that they're all gone. The app says that it's associated with a different email address, but there is no way for me to log in with anything other than Google. Very disappointed to lose all of those quotes.

I loved this app but I'm not liking that I can't log in and save my affirmations to a cloud. I just got a new phone and lost all my affirmations that were on my previous phone. Now I have to start from scratch. Also seems to be a lot of connectivity issues. A lot of things that need internet connection aren't working even though I'm connected to my internet. I'm not having trouble with any other apps except this one. I hope these issues are resolved soon.

Good app overall. I'm just surprised it STILL doesn't have a search function. I've hundreds of affirmations so far and when one comes up in my daily feed that I'd like to edit, I'll have to spend a half hour just looking for it in all the different folders. The fact that "search" isn't built in, even in premium is a huge waste.

I don't often write reviews but I wanted to write one for this excellent app. I use it everyday showing my affirmations and love choosing my own affirmations and adding pictures. It rarely crashes and backs up so I don't lose all of my affirmations which has happened on a previous one. I would love to be able to sync it to my PC so that's something I would like added but apart from that its great!

I have loved this app. It's easy to use and customize your own affirmations, which I love. I have made my own playlists for different things, like morning affirmations or affirmations for when I'm having anxiety. However I just switched to an Iphone and I was so disappointed to see that this app is not available in iOS. :( There's nothing quite like it that's as simple and customizable.

I find it strange that the app only has the ability to record your own voice rather than having each affirmation recorded by someone else. I like the customizations available in the photos, and writing your own affirmations. I wish you could set it where the affirmations come at the specified times but looped in a specific category. Ex: success category before work, and relationship in the evenings. All in all, I like the app, it's better than most. I do plan to keep using it.

I really enjoy this app! I like that you can add your own affirmations or use the preset affirmations. I also like that you can customize it by changing the images in the background and the music that plays. My only problem with the app is the setting to randomize the affirmation order is not functioning. It plays the same order every time even though I selected to make it random. Besides that I'm really liking this app!

Of all the affirmation apps I've tried, this is my fav. I love hearing a gentle sound several times per day presenting me with a random affirmation. But it's not perfect. If I want to edit an affirmation that it has presented, I have to reenter the app trying to remember how I had categorized it so I can find it again. If I switch over to another app after reading an affirmation, the background sound just keeps on playing. And I've lost edits forgetting to press check twice to get it to save.

A widely functional and easy to use app. Beyond the afirmations that come preloaded, it is quite easy to add ones own. There are also many otions for customizing the way the affirmations display. You can change the font, color, background image, rate of change, music and more. If you want to use affirmations to increase your personal well being, this app is a great way to do it.

This is the best affirmations app I have tried! Endless customization, able to create infinite playlists and folders, uploading your own music for each playlist of affirmations you make, which you can record your own voice in, for however long you want to speak; able to customize the times of the affirmations and pauses in playing. There is so much more, as well! There are ads, and they are not in any way disruptive. It's quite a powerful design, overall!

This app is perfect! All I wanted was an app that would let me create my own affirmations, and set how often I want to get a notification that would open the app to where I could read them. Not only does it do all that, but it plays them for you in a really nice slideshow with nice music in the background, and allows you to record voiceovers that would be read back to you during the slideshow. It also provides pre-written affirmations if you want. Very intuitive UI and everything is configurable

This is perfect! I can create a custom play list, add my own images and even use my own music if I wanted. The settings are very customizable as well, you can loop it, you can play all, change the speed, so many options. The only thing I would suggest is adding a cropping tool rather than the 3 formatting options so I can choose the area of each image I want to use. This would make a great exposure app as well by adding specific images, ex. pictures of audiences for public speaking exposure etc.

After just a few days I started to really like this app. Possible improvements: images for affirmations don't always upload from Google photos, changing folder image doesn't show any images in the folders, so nothing to choose from. Maybe it's got to do with expected file extension. Still, it's a great app. Thank you. - Almost 2 years later, still using the app and still enjoying it. My affirmations evolve with me.

Have been using the app for quite a while now. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm really impressed with this app and the amount it does for free. It has some adverts as expected but they're not intrusive at all. Good selection of affirmations to choose from, or you can create your own. You have the option to record your voice. I play the slideshow of my chosen affirmations every day.

This app is exactly what I was looking for and more! You can get affirming and encouraging messages (preset or custom) throughout the day, as often as you want. And they can have images/backgrounds and music. You can record voice messages, which is a bonus. I also love how much control you have over the content and settings. Such a great and helpful app!

It's really a great concept and highly customizable which is wonderful, you can pick from preselected ones that are lovely (as are the pictures). Better than that, you can even write out your own words/mantras so that you'll have a one of a kind experience. You can also select the frequency of daily reminders so that you have a personalized application. I have mine set for 3 times a day and it's not intrusive at all but it does give me a little moment of peace. Download it, you'll enjoy it! 💙

Much better than post it notes on my bathroom mirror. Thank you I am very happy with this app. If I may make two suggestions. Perhaps adding a mediation sound option would be a good growth direction at a later stage. Some different music options when the app is open and scrolling through affirmations. The currents is song is lovely some variety would just be an added bonus. Thanks again.

My new favorite app! I absolutely love this app. I used to write affirmations in a notebook and recite them. This app does everything. You can use the suggested affirmations, edit them, and/or create your own. You can sort them in folders, which also can be edited/customized. You can record the affirmations in your own voice (or anyone you know). I'm impressed at what you get for free. The ads are not intrusive. I am interested in upgrading to premium but found no pricing info.

It's a wonderful app with a great idea. I look forward to using it as soon as I can get the notifications to work. I've made sure battery optimization isn't bothering the app, but I think it's more of I'm confused on what controls what in the notification settings, despite reading the Help section. I can't get it to sound off every 30 minutes so I'll just set it to go off the maximum number of times in a day.

I really like the app but there is one issue. I would like to have my affirmations in a loop and have this loop every day for selected affirmations. Somehow this does not work and I have to change settings to restart the loop. (loop playing is enabled.) this is really tedious and should be a basic function. It does not even work in the premium version. Can you help me with the settings?

Good app for organizing my affirmations. Easy to rearrange, delete, and put into folders which I love. For some reason I can't change background music even when I download it. Would like the ability to set different time length for different affirmations, and have better looking default fonts that stand out against the background (maybe darken the background). Also a way to let users know they've reached the end of the affirmation instead of waiting.

For now it is a struggle to get the notifications to work (when I tried to get two seperate notifications a day I got NONE then it took time to get 1 notification back 1 time). I haven't really had the app long enough to really put it thru some paces but it has some nice features (being able to add my own affirmations and categories is nice). If duplicating affirms in more than one category.. software shows them one after another wich is a disappointment. Thank you for what you have done so far.
