This operater is very bad. it's internet speeds is always slow and most of times there's no Internet for a long time. Recharging is Airtel is the waste of money and time. If your task is of one minute it might be take half an hour. Voice call quality is not good voice is not clear and sometimes it takes a long time to connect the call.
Good app and i haven't found any issues with the network. Everything is good about airtel. But the only thing is that the recharge price is too expensive. Every month the plans are changing and the rate is going high. If the price could be lowered a little bit than it would be of great help.
The app is extremely awful. I have broadband connection and I'm trying to get the bill. Whenever you click on e-bill it shows error 404. It doesn't open. The person who installed it told that I would recieve the bills over mail but that doesn't happen. Even he doesn't respond properly. Overall my experience with Airtel is very bad. It has very bad customer service and specially this app is completely useless.

This is the worst app. The payment methods randomly don't work at times.. if we try from other phones, it doesn't let us recharge fastag as it has to be done from the registered phone only. There is no flexibility in the app. And this isn't the first time I've faced this problem. Hope Airtel works on this as it's extremely frustrating and wastes a lot of time unnecessarily.
The worst UI ever developed, Airtel was such a worst experience for me. They only want to sell their products, when it comes to deactivation they have no option where we can find things easily. And for any support you need, you are only available with some selective options. They really need to work on their app and ofcourse customer support. And on the top of that, the internet speed is next level low, some time it work even slower than 2G speed. Simply worst data card service.
Any option selected leads to server busy, or "something went wrong please try again later" due to which cannot check pre-existing bills, cannot recharge and the list goes on. The app is very poor in terms of user-friendliness, but looks like it's basically used to promote other Airtel products like black, rather than to make user experience better.
The App is useless in their Help and Support. For more than 2 weeks I do not have internet on my sim. The Help & Support keeps returning to the same page no matter which option who choose to lodge a complain. I have emailed and called them with my problem regarding network issues and data speed but to no avail. They don't even respond to calls made, messages or emails sent. It seems that I have no choice but to switch to another service provider. 🙏
Unproductive ineffective app. Facing issue with frequent disruption of broadband connection. Unable to solve issue through the app, keeps going around in a loop. Can't raise a complaint or provide feedback through the app. Eventually have to call customer care. If that's what Airtel expects us to do, then why make this app? It's just as useless as the Airtel xtreme app. Waste of time and storage space.
A very poorly designed app. Majority of the times the features and buttons don't load or work. It has so many bugs. The ads scroll so fast that one cannot read it before it scrolls to the next one. Very annoying. The app should let people scroll through manually. Some real redisigning and hard work is needed to revamp the app.
Please don't buy the broadband connection from Airtel, there is no connectivity, no speed and no internet. Please don't think it is less price and buy it's because I don't want anyone to waste your money on this. Even if u complaint, the service man will come check and do something afterwards it will work for some hours and it repeats the same old problem back.
Even after complaining the issue is not resolved. Mailed them multiple times with screenshot yet it's been more than 2 weeks and the network is just getting worse. The 3g completely stopped working and the 4g could be called 2g instead because of how bad it has gotten. This has been happening since the start of 2021. The customer service was unreachable for the first month. The app does absolutely nothing to reach out for customer care, it's as useless as killing space on your phone.
Worst UI and speed after the latest update! This app used to be very good. However, don't know what got into the developer's head and the UI got repelling and useless. Now, we have to tap at least 3 times on ugly icons in the app to get to our dashboard of different Airtel services. Never expected such a novice approach by Airtel in the least!!
Airtel app used to be good. But from past few months it became one of the most buggiest app. Whenever I open it some times it lags and also do not show accurate data. There are a lots of bugs in the app. I am facing a network issue so I tried to raise a complaint but that did not work. I was not able to raise any complaint.
The expiry date of the last recharge must be displayed instead of the days now displayed. The help portion of the app is if no use. Resolved message comes without resolving the issue reported. Data service very bad, inspite of boasting about the speed of data. Lately, the data usage shown in the app is faulty. Not only that, ow a days, early morning, it shows 50% or more data has been consumed, soon after just switching on the data. And also, 0.75 GB data now gets consumed in just 5 minutes.
Pathetic app, you can't log any complaint if not listed. Even no option of escalating your issue. On a daily basis your internet connection goes off and you don't have anyone to connect too. At first, it says no issue, later you get SMS for any issue with a place holder for fixing timeline. And they want customer to switch to Airtel Balck so that they could make a joke of them. Vi is much better than airtel in service.
Had been using this app for a while but recently I had a very bad experience in this app and all the customer care are also not helpful.. worst part is we can't see transaction history. My amount is been deducted from my account but it's not been confirmed and I didn't get any recharge. Call up the CS but not helpful passing me from Airtel bank to Airtel prepaid seriously so annoying. Loss all the trust... I won't be recharging from this Apps . They are call daylight robbery..
Horrible experience with Airtel Xstream Fiber connection. Since few days I am facing reduced download speed in my connection, I tried to contact customer care but couldn't reach out to them. After that I tried to contact local Airtel store from where I purchased this connection but they are also not reachable. Now I am nowhere with my problems. Really frustating with the service Airtel provided. They charges on the higher side but provide service on the lowest side. Will change provider soon.
I opted for postpaid in hopes that I'll get decent internet speeds but that is rarely the case. At best I get >1MB speeds for a minute and then it creeps to 10 KB/s for the rest of the day. Raising support issue is of no use and tickets get closed automatically or stay open for weeks. Data rollover now makes sense to me cause they won't let you use all of it? Please fix. It's not a network issue, it seems to be internal throttling.
Like other service providers (like jio), airtel's quality has also declined. Even though one try to reach them for any support, they do not provide appropirate support. Airtel should know that not everyone is well aware of using these apps, thus people sometimes need to connect through customer care no. But they do not let us connect to them and some things are not clearly defined as what to do is there is balance pending in my account, neither can I call someone nor send messages.
I was trying to recharge my wife's mobile number and due to the issue in the software, instead my mobile recharge has happened. I have overspend on the costs while mine is a full years recharge. Also I could in no way get in touch or talk to a customer service person in this regards, as there's no option on the call nor on chat ! A big request to the Airel, please sort this issue.
I have repeatedly complained there is no way to raise a complaint within the app n the customer care is near unknown. Another 2 months and i am moving all my connections out of Airtel. To all the people who read this : Airtel is a scam, their broadband service gives only 1/10th the claimed speed (i have two 300mbps plan). They close the tickets without resolving or caring to inform the customer. It's a sham stay away from this app! PS : while typing lost my connection twice (phone net)
I had a bad experience with Airtel Thanks App recently. I recharged through Airtel Thanks App for Rs. 666 on may 2nd. The money was debited but the recharge was not successful. Even though, I contacted with the customer service the issue has not been resolved yet. My sim card is inactivated now and the incoming and outgoing service has also been stopped. I have been told to wait for 5 working days. But it is been one month and my money has not been credited yet. I am not able to make any calls.
After the latest UI update this app has become one of worst among the other network provider apps. It's so hard to find any data you want. Takes a lots of loading time & lags alot. Everytime I need to check my data balance it shows inaccurate data, You have to close & restart the app atleast 4-5 times after that it will show the correct data if you are fortunate enough. If I redeem data coupon then it will be shown as redeem and deducted from from coupan but the data is not added to the account.
I have no option to raise a service request or a complaint. I have an Airtel Xtreme broadband but no Airtel sim and hence calling 121 doesn't help. If you don't have a customer care contact point on the app, then what is the point of asking customers to use it for queries. Everything goes back to calling 121. Annoying!
It was totally disappointment of customer support as still they're not able to rectify the issue of transaction/Recharge error. Even the screenshot and all the evidence of error shared still they are acting as blind. Still asking for what was the error. The concern was raised thru mail on 01 May, 2022 still they are only replying the mail (thank you for your patience we appreciate) instead of confirmation of rectification. Didn't expect this kind from Airtel
The app is good. The service is pathetic. It took 3 minutes to open the App itself, so you can imagine how the Fastest Network is, not in any remote village but in centre of metro city... Update: Your chat service is pathetic. The bot is quite annoying.. problem remains unsolved....
This app is not all user friendly. For example, the app doesn't have any option if we want to cancel our connection. Our only option seems to be the customer care, and they hardly ever pick up your calls. Once they picked up and kept me on hold for 15 minutes or so, till I cut the call. Also, it seems like the Airtel Thanks app developers are doing everything in their power (/skill sets) to make this app less user friendly by the month.
