Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks are now one company, and soon you’ll get to know us by the name Spectrum. This app is for customers in the former Bright House Networks service area.
The My BHN app allows for a fast and convenient way to: register for My Services, manage your equipment, pay your bill and manage your WiFi settings. The My BHN app will notify you of upcoming appointments and provide you the ability to manage these appointments more easily. The My BHN app offers a customer-focused, intuitive interface and we're always working on additional features that can be added based on customer feedback.

Note: The My BHN application will not be available to Enterprise customers

This app is extremely slow and takes forever to open. Its clearly built for people who know next to nothing about technology to the detriment of many features I actually need. I cant even access advanced settings in the app and when I go to the website on my computer it tells me to download the app. Its completely rediculous that they removed the ability to change network settings on a desktop.

in reference to the new mobile app, combining all the services in one app is great...and it's user friendly. However, I am extremely frustrated with the continual rise in pricing for these services (minus mobile phone)....3 times within this past year alone. And this does not include the annual increases. It doesn't matter what the reasons are...there is always an excuse and the consumer has no choices in lowering the pricing.

for the most part I don't have anything but positive things to say about spectrum or the app. the app is very easy to navigate through, and I've always had positive outcomes if an issue arose and I needed to contact customer support. they have always answered any questions I have had, or helped to get the issue taken care of as soon as possible! I do like knowing that spectrum is having an outage in my area which the app lets me know as soon as I log in. I'm made aware of it right away.

Absolute trash app. Every time I get in, it crashes and closes, so I have to click on it again and THEN it'll log on. Start up takes centuries to open the app and when I decide to go into the services tab, It takes even longer if it even opens at all. Its nothing new, but it just getting worse and never fixed. I've updated countless times and its STILL an issue. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

It's very slow, and sometimes features will not work due to an error that the app will not report to you. The forced non-automatic updates before you're even allowed to open the app make this even more of a pain. I like the Spectrum service, but I hate the app. I miss being able to manage my router with a web page, I don't like using my phone for this at all, especially with how inconvenient it is.

Very very very slooooow & crashes ALL THE TIME! OMG for the longest time iv had this problem with this app and now I'm so sick of it freezing! You go to click on a menu setting and you think your phone has crashed BECAUSE the App itself is very poorly maintained. Not to mention the outages you have. I think I'm going to switch over to something different. Iv been a customer for years now and this has become ridiculous! Very sad.

One of the worst technical apps I have ever used. It is slow, unresponsive, and it's unable to check whether or not I'm in an outage because it requires me to be connected to my internet to confirm, which is impossible if I'm in an outage. By the time this app loads I can physically just reset my modem, making the modem restart feature of this pointless due to how long it takes to load up and get to that point.

I am a new Spectrum customer and this is the first time I have needed to manage my router with an app. I found that I can go to 192.168.1.1 to show a router page with only basic information, no management options, and a QR link to the app. It's very slow, it takes something like 20 seconds before it becomes usable. Sometimes the app is unresponsive, I tap a button and it does nothing and I need to close and restart. When I first got the router working, the app didn't show the wifi option at all, even after restarting. It eventually showed up, though. Something really annoying I have to deal with is that the wifi password doesn't allow you to end in a space or use these characters: <>^$;&"\' There is no reason to have these limitations. My previous wifi password used both quotation marks and an apostrophe. Special characters have been widely encouraged if not outright required for passwords. So instead of setting my wifi password to what it was before on just the router, I have to change the wifi password on every single one of my devices now. Thanks. The app also nags me about rating how it does things. I didn't sign up to be in your focus group, just do what I need you to do. There's very little else the app can do. I can restart, reset to factory settings, and little else. There's a chat help button that blocks anything in the lower right corner. An app can be useful, but for taking up 136 MB of space on my phone, its limitations don't offer any convenience over the older, faster web browser management system I'm used to using that uses 0 MB of space on my computer.

I recently received the new cable modem+VOIP and wireless router for our upgrade and it seems now that I'm forced to use the Spectrum app to manage the new router. I'm old-school so I expected to be able to manage the router directly and more easily via a web browser. The app runs VERY SLOW and the process required to even get access to the router is needlessly convoluted. I got fed up with it all and bought my own wireless router.

This app is absolute trash. Recently got a spectrum router touting enhanced network control and various other things. It was asking me to sign in every time I clicked a menu item but wouldn't show anything confirming I signed in and then just ask me again to sign in next click. Literally took 24 hours for the app to connect to the router even though it was telling me every time a new device connected. Not to mention the fact that it still doesn't show any devices connected to the network.

App is slow and trouble shooting is limited to just reboot the device. Your service is failing but they will not admit it or have options to have someone look at issues in there system. At times I have to reboot my modem every few hours to reconnect with the internet and that is not good and can be reported with out call spectrum when it fails and having them walk you through another reboot like you haven't done that 10 times in the last day.

It's an incredibly powerful tool for managing the screen time and internet use in your household, Changing your wifi name and password, checking the status of the connections between the routers and modems and so much more.This app is not just for paying your bill.

Something changed around 5-13-2022. I had no problems. Very rare. Over the weekend I tried accessing my spectrum TV App and I have been unable to watch any channels other than the Spectrum channel 13. I use mobile access at home on multiple devices wireless and wired.Spectrum router. No problem intil around 5-13 . And I can't get Tech on the phone and the ask for groupy chat box is useless The appworks, just not if you want to watch live TV or View DVR shows

Spectrum Communications) Still have slow internet speeds, complaints are never fixed or repaired, 1MB is really 500mb, but the answers are all the same we are working on it, or read the fine print, speeds may vary dependent upon users on the "shared network" Never ever Bundle, the biggest scam ripoff ever conceived.

Since I switched over awhile back, I have had good wifi that has taken care of quite a few devices simultaneously. The app has made it so very easy to update things and to check what devices are connected. I can disconnected anyone with the push of a button. I have never had such a worry free experience with my wifi and its components before! Very satisfied!

The services tab is completely useless as it displays every option but your internet. You can no longer view the status of your connection, the password, or the display name of your internet . You can however add new services (as if this helps to solve your internet issues) and there are instructions on how to troubleshoot your service, modem, and router. How will you know what to troubleshoot if you cannot see the connection status in the first place? Additionally the app is extremely laggy.

This is pre latest upgrade - Glitches everytime I logged in. It wouldn't let me click certain places I should be able to or I would be typing in my card number and would just booted off or scrolling and it would freeze and then boot me off. I'm all for paying through the app. I like it's paperless and sends me reminders (I'm bad at adulting) but that's about it. Its harder deal with the app than call sometimes, in my experience.

Thank you for dumbing things down, I'm glad you don't believe your customers are competent enough to configure their routers to their liking, I will be replacing the router with a different one due to the lack of advanced features and the back door that's wide open for spectrum to connect to and mess with things.

I've been trying to access "My Spectrum App" to view my mobile account, as both apps were merged into one, for several days. I'm unable to do so since once I open the app I'm automatically directed to another page that freezes there. I called Spectrum and was told there was an issue with the app and as always "should be resolved soon" I then waited til the next day, tried again and continued trying for days with no success, including uninstalling & reinstalling! IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!

The router is always on pending mode on connection status on the app and as a result can't change network SSID name and password. Also, you can't take screenshot of your bill on the app as a security measure, what? I need to show to other persons sharing the same bills with me. 1 star certainly.

Network reliability has been horrible and it keeps getting worse. That doesn't keep Spectrum from raising my rate every few months. I'm now paying almost 3x what I was every month. Customer support is nonexistent. As soon as T-MOBILE internet is available in my area. I'm gone. I find myself spending more time rebooting my modem and trying to restore my internet connection than I do actually being online. Roadrunner wasn't great but a heck of a lot better than Spectrum by miles.

Way too much time to load. Many glitches and its frustrating being connected to their own Wi-Fi and it still takes 10 minutes to log in. Trying to pay takes even longer. I have to disconnect from their network and use my cellular network and pay through that. The service is great and fast but this app needs a lot of work

Terrible. I had to download this because apparently Spectrum took away the ability to restart your equipment from your computer, but this app doesn't work. For some reason it takes me into a browser to try to sign in, then it crashes when it tries to flip back from browser to app. Time to dump Spectrum, I guess.

spectrum is great. I haven't had any technical issues. Thru the Spectrum app I'm able to pay my bill. The only problem I have is with Customer Service. I have called twice to have the phone removed. I never requested a Spectrum phone and I would like the payments I paid refunded.

ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS! The app never gets past tryingto sign in (yes my ID and pwd are correct). I'm in the app but it says it doesn't like the browser I'm using. It goes from signing in to Getting Started then shuts itself off. Restart the app and it does the same again. TOTALLY WORTHLESS!
