We have systems at our fingertips that allow us to translate to any language in the world.
We use those systems to allow you to translate descriptions & comments.
By making use of BoardGameGeek & BoardGameAtlas it is able to give you an enourmous amount of information about your collection and/or about board games you want to check out.
No database is perfect so we created a way for you to add to the existing data.
You can add videos (f.e.: how to play), website urls (f.e.: alternate play rules), images (f.e.: your pictures), your notes, game language, tags, purchase date & purchase price and more.
Finding new board game(s) can be very exciting, so we are giving you options to be able to find cool new games.
You can view dynamic lists and you can search the database with various filters. Search filters like player count, age, play time, ...
Choosing a board game to play is not always easy, that is why we give you multiple options to filter your collection: name, cooperative play, number of players, playtime, release year, is digital, difficulty, tags or/and a favorite.
Even with all these filters it can be hard to choose, some people just have a lot of very cool games in their collection. For these situations we have added a 'pick random' action to the list.
An all inclusive solution: board game(s), tabletop games, family games, card games, ...
We are a strong believer in open formats so My Board Game Collection uses an open format for its backup/restore files.

There needs to be a way to select multiple items at a time. Really slow and frustrating to have to click into a board game, then click add item, instead of selecting multiple at a time for bulk adds. When viewing your collection, you can't add the same game to two lists. You need to search up the game again to add it as a separate item to another list. When sharing a link to your collection, the square grid view is pleasing to the eyes, but it isn't as functional as the list view in the app.
Really good app, the one downside I can find is that there is no way to move\copy games between collections (e.g. wishlist to owned). Edit: found it.
Very good. It sometimes loses the filters and you have to select them again. Xiaomi Redmi note 8.
There is a bug that when I remove a game on bgg from my collection then I sync, it will not be removed from my app collection. Please fix it.
I love how easy it is to search for games, and add them to either my owned or wishlists.
So far so good, but would like an option to list expansions under primary game that are different edition. For example, newest 7 Wonders edition. I would like to have the cities and leaders anniversary pack listed underneath it. I made the change to list parent expansion in the edit, but it doesn't fall underneath the parent game. I can provide screenshot if necessary. *Edit* Thank you for the fast response, it works!
The app is missing some basic functionality. For example, the ability to share or print your collection. The holidays are coming, and with 93 games in our collection, it's very helpful to be able to tell others what games we already have. Alas, when we share, it simply shares the app and not our collection itself. It would be nice if there was a feedback function in the app so we can let you know what would improve the app.
I like a lot the graphics of the app, very clean view, and was even willing to buy the ad-free version, but the synchronization with BGG is just broken: initially it duplicated entries (!?), and when introducing the wishlist it just doesn't work, not doing any updates any more. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, same bad behavior. Synch is the main function that makes this app worthwhile, a pity it is just broken (other similar apps handle it without any problems), please fix it.
cool concept, but 3 minutes into exploring the app, a full screen cover ad popped up... yeah, I expected some ads (like the bar across the bottom) but it's not worth my time to even check out this app to see if I want the premium version when it's that intrusive into the usage experience. 2 stars instead of 1, because the few minutes I saw the interface it was clean, and good looking.
This app is very intuitive and makes it extremely easy to keep my collection up to date in an organized way!!
Fair so far. First issue is that I'm trying to restore my premium upgrade from my old phone. Reached out to developer & initial response was quick, but didn't work. It's been 6 days since my last email & I've heard nothing. Second issue is that as I'm scanning my new games, 2 out of 7 upc codes aren't coming up. Makes me worried for adding the rest of my collection. And these are games I bought from target, not some random place lol If things get better, I'll come back & update.
Has everything you need to creat a board game wishlist, I always would write a game down then forget about it. Now I have a long long list to look on whenever I'm thinking of getting one. The interface also works really well letting you know how long the game would take and the complexity which is really useful when comparing what game you want to get
The recent update to this app have been great and have really improved usability. Despite this the UI is still somewhat unorthodox and is a real departure from Material Design, hence 4 ★ instead of 5. Looking forward to adding my other board games once I've got access to them again. Keep up the good work, and hope to see future changes that are a bit more in keeping with Android look and feel.
good range but cosmetically the lists could be nicer
Really a great app. I have a collection of around 120 games and I've organised them in different groups (solo, two-/three-player games, language independent, expansions etc.) You can also tag the games according to your personal rating or whatever it is that is of importance to you. Really a great tool for organising your collection. Also removes all adds for like 2 Euro (if I'm not mistaken, quite cheap anyway.) 5 stars from me :)
Does the job I need it to do. Some of the ads can be intrusive, so I purchased the app. It would be nice to have the ability to import and/or sync with my boardgame geek collection. An added quick clear on the search and add functionality would also be a nice ui addition.
The app has a huge amount of potential. It's true that some games are missing when you sync your games with BGG, but the link to melodic is amazing. It would be great to have an option to check which games are sleeved or not, and the type of sleeves you need to buy.
This app has a surprisingly large board game data base to search from! It would be 5 stars if it was easier to add a photo to a game you have custom put into a list (without finding it in the search), and if it wasn't buggy when putting games in a different list.
Great, but room for improvement. I'd like to see an option to 2 way sync with board game geek so i don't need to log into there to update my list. id like to invite friends to a game night and let them vote on the games to play from my collection from with the app. Would also like to share list of owned with people trying to bring their own game to the party so they know what I already own.
Added my collection to the app, but felt that there was missing feature. I emailed the developer, and got a quick reply and discussion of something that could go into the next release. I think this is great service and I wish I could find this kind of response in other apps.
Terrible. Used this app for over a year. Had dozens of games and expansion logged. Lost everything with the newest update. Then I linked the cloud added everything again, not fun due to having expansions in with main games so it hard to differentiate. Then when I go to add a new game everything is gone again.
Keeps crashing. Won't let me sync to cloud or make a login. Initially was letting me add games to list but crashing on that now as well EDIT: that issue is solved now. thanks. however all the games i added arent showing up on the link im genrating, when ive installed on my tab, the info isnt synced, what can be done?
I had the free version on my old phone and then I upgraded to premium. When I got my new phone and installed it, the old collection came over under the name "????" and I can NOT use the letters to jump to the games named with that letter. I also can't add anything to the old list and had to create a new list. Does anyone know how to fix this? Very frustration to have to scroll thru 2 lists, especially since I can't jump by letter. Great app otherwise. Helps when you don't want to buy duplicates!
