I am using this on my phone. I used a save slot, which said you cannot have multiple save slots in free version. Which is fine. It still saved to the one save slot. Then when I try to load it says you can only load from one save slot in the free version. Which again is fine but it does not load. Not sure if this is an error or a way to force you into buying full version to recover your saved data. i have tried emailing support but did not get a response...
Great emulator, the settings are nice and varied, controls are responsive. Only gripe I have is it won't let you load savestates unless you load an ad too. I know why, gotta get that revenue and all but my signal gets spotty out in the boonies so having 'error loading ad. Try again later' pop up when I'm trying to load up my quicksave is annoying.
Good app, runs smoothly and good audio quality. Ads run to load save states which is fine most of the time. If they can't load any ads it just wont let you in to your save, which I get, but I've been trying to get to my save right before a boss in metroid fusion for the last 20 min and it wont let me. I just dont want to take the long walk back to that spider guy. Over all good app. Just wish it could load the ads more consistantly.
This is great for a free version, but a few complaints is that I kinda wish an ad wouldn't pop up the first time I load up a save. Also the fact I have to buy the full version to use 2 lines in a cheat code, but not the case for one line... Seriously that last one is just the wackest part. Love this app regardless however.
Really really solid emulator. Easy to navigate and use, lots of potions. I paid for it I liked it that much. My only complaint is the control button are kind slippery? I would say. And like the hit boxes for them feel a little too big, I often have issues with the d-pad randomly sending my left while I'm walking down. Or hitting the B button and the D-pad sending me up. I'd like them to be a bit more precise. But I still find it easy to use and solid over all.
Games run great on this emulator, but you can only use the quick save and the in-game saving system, not that bad in itself but you have to be connected to the internet in some way for the quick save, so that they can show an ad. Not an inherently bad thing, just frustrating. If you can deal with that, go right ahead
I would give this 5 stars, only, at some point the app will display an error after a certain amount of saves which is a dirty trick because to fix it you have to buy the full version. The full version also nags you for access to your email account which is very suspicious, I don't recommend anyone allow this app that permission ever.
Seriously? The emulator warns you that you can't save or load from multiple slots using the free version. It DOES NOT warn you that you can't actually load from ANY slots AT ALL. Meaning the one and only rom I'm playing at the moment can't load a save state. So I can't access my save game unless I pay $5. For one save slot. That's ridiculous. I get you need to make some money, but not allowing even one free save slot to really try out the emulator is not the way to get paying customers.
The best emulator app in the market. Allows for you to play all Gameboy titles and is also compatible with several cheat code programs which allow for mods and alterations in certain games. Has a potential "speed up" button that can help you skip through boring lectures or repetitive animations. The complete version gives you the availability of quick save and quick loading games. A most have for nostalgic gamers.
Honestly one of the best mobile emulators and a solid competitor to pc emulators. The ads aren't to intrusive at all. The controls are a little lackluster for something more than turn based rpgs, however the simple solution is to connect a controller through Bluetooth (or a janky wiring system). But I find it well for what I use it for which is mostly old pokemon games. Also if you need help finding games just search for the game you want on the internet and type rom afterwards.
Absolute trash. Almost every single feature is locked behind a paywall. Including game saves. Meaning: I saved progress on my game, only to attempt to load from Save Slot 1, and find out that all of my progress was locked behind that paywall. I can't even play the game without buying the application. Making the free version totally and absolutely useless. There is literally no point to this free version existing.
I have been using this emulator for quite a while now. So far, it's excellent. However, recenty there's an error on loading the ads when you try to load a quick save, and thus preventing me from accessing the data. Please fix this, nobody wants their progress to vanish just like that.
Pros: - loads up nicely, no bugs / crashes so far. Has basic emulator tools like quick save / load & pull down menu. Simple & straightforward. Cons: - absolute garbage in every other way: the cap on the speed cheat never bothered me, but not being able to link up without paying? Can't quick load without having an ad play? No thanks.
I HATE this emulator. I am still annoyed that whenever I load a game state, it needs to show an ad and I can't load my game unless I do so. Moreover, the ad has an error after a certain amount of loads so I have to wait for a while to load my game again. I don't mind the ads tbh, but I really can't stand the loading errors. The save state limitations is also bugging me, since the other free emulators do not have this restriction, and the ads are less annoying too.
This is an incredible GBA rom emulator complete with multiple save state slots, total control of the button size/posititioning, and an easy to use file navigator. Though it doesn't come with the ability to find GBA roms independently, they can be found online and those files can be accessed and played through this app with great efficiency. Well done!
This game is great if you play it without opening internet. It is the free version of gameboy but if you open the net it will give numerous number of adds . But if you play offline then it's perfect. No lag and it can run every game like the real one I mean the paid one . But in this version you can't save your game in more than 1 slot . So if you like my review please note it as helpful.
I have no complaints. The ads aren't in the way in the menu. Sure there are a fixed number of ads to load games but you can save the game and reset the game so you are back before you made the mistake. It runs almost every GBA (specifically pokemon cause that's all I play) game and ROM. Also the multiple lines of code can be split in multiple parts. The only reason I see people say this game is a cash grab is a problem that can be easily fixed themselves. Excellent job devs.
It's trying to FORCE me to buy the emulator. Constantly saying it fails to load ads, try again later or buy full thing. I haven't watched many ads, like 5 , and now it refuses to load ANY ads at all. Waste of a emulator.
Was the best now is the worst, they put a barrier on your saves, after a number of times you can't load your saves telling you that they don't find ads to run, BS big as house, unless you don't pay your saves are locked, big scam but luckily there are other emulators, anyways I hope they fix this, this emulator is my childhood, that's the only reason I hope they fix it
2.5 stars. It works well enough, but I'm deleting this app because for some reason it keeps requesting permissions to access all my email accounts. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is for, but it seems super sketch. If the person who created the app could explain the need for a GBA emulator to repeatedly try to access my emails, that would be greatly appreciated.
Great emulator. But I just lost all of my saves (even the configuration of the emulator and the buttons layout). I don't know why. But I did two things recently: one was taking the SD card out if my phone for a moment. (My Emulator is on internal storage, games are on SD card). The other was cleaning trash/temp files with my phone's cleaner. None of these should have deleted the game saves and the emulator's config file. And I'm not motivated enough to start all those games from the beginning ag
Great app: The show great integration with roms that are downloaded as well as not being buggy or slow , interacts well with downloaded files has a limit to number of downloads. Either way definelty worth the download.
After using it for 10+ hours, the app just refuses to work. Despite having mobile data / wifi I repeatedly get an "Error loading ad. Please try again later" message when trying to load my save. Supposedly a drawback of only the free version, but I do not trust it nearly enough to spend $5. Unfortunate.
Can only use one save state, which requires you to watch an ad first. If the ad doesn't load for whatever reason, your save becomes inaccessible. If you're looking for a free and functional gba emulator, this ain't it.
This is the best emulator on the market, I bought it so long ago. But now they want certain permissions that are scary. If you deny the permissions it doesn't affect the operation. But still, stop trying to access things you don't need. I spent my money, that's all your getting from me. The cost of the app and nothing more
Probably the best game boy emulator on the playstore but after you've saved a bunch of times you cant save anymore in the free version. But id suggest you should be able to see all of your previous saves in any slot and load that save so that you're dont have to start a new adventure.
Make turbo A/B into separate inputs (like the regular A and B buttons). I love this emulator and I have the paid version of it, but it bothers me a lot how the devs never implement any QoL features. A cheat menu shortcut would also be highly appreciated.
Pretty good but sometimes I would get annoyed for no reason for the samsung home tab which is not really understandable where I hate it lol so if it's OK if you swipe left on it or bottom it goes away cause sometimes games do that so I'm really hoping if you can do that. I wish you read this and add some changes! 😁
Excellent emulator, probably the best GBA emulator out there. I've been using it for the past two years on three different devices. However, when trying to load a save state, the "error loading ad" issue gets incredibly frustrating incredibly fast especially because it's completely random and occurs even when you have mobile data or wifi enabled. Why include it in the first place if it's not going to work properly? That's my only complaint and why I can't give the app the perfect rating.
