It's a great 3D model for exploring gross structural anatomy of the brain, with lots of viewing options for internal parts and good descriptions per structure. However, the mechanics of the app need work, e.g. the touch recognition for zooming, panning, and rotating is not very smooth. And for some reason the ENTIRE brain stem (including the thalamus!) is recognized as one structure and called the "pons", which is not accurate??
They mean well. There needs to be more information on the smaller parts of the brain. The global pallidus for eg has basically zero information of use. Also, the "clicking" on things on the phone isn't sensitive enough, it doesn't actually easily select stuff, have to battle with it.
i wanted to know about the forebrain. This app did not give me a search area for brain parts. it gave me a home and rotate button. nothing happened when i tried to tap on different brain areas. after 5 minutes of getting no where I uninstalled. i also paid 2.99 to remove ads and there was still a. ad present at the bottom that i could not close. Terrible app
Some of the labels are incorrect, such as the globus pallidus and putamen, and some include multiple regions not actually part of the structure, like the pons which includes the midbrain. It is a great app otherwise but if being used for teaching or learning, needs the labels to be corrected.
Too simplistic. Features offer little instructive value. I am intensely curious about the brain and find this app uninteresting and of no value to me. Also, pop ups are very annoying.
It's really good if you want to disect and learn brain structure from top to bottom. Features like hide, fade, hide others were very very helpful. Thanks for this app.
This app is very clunky. Touch recognition on the inner brain structures needs a lot of work. Not having a list of structures I can select leaves this app wonting for more.
This is a great app to learn basic anatomy of brain and its visulaization is excellent. I think that this app should have more details for students who wants to go to further.good luck
When I first downloaded the app it was awesome, it showed 4 views now it only shows 2, just outer parts of brain, can't see the ventricles or hippocampus, etc. anymore. What happened?
Not user friendly, navigation is tuff, audio is playing continusly even after app exit.
It's okay. It has the basic brain anatomy but I had to look elsewhere for a more in depth model.
Watch the ad several times but still could not access the anatomy features of the app.
The ads dont allow you to access the content rendering it useless.

As a med student, i was having a bit difficulty visualizing all the structures, but this app has helped me so much! The app is great for me because i already have all the info i need. 3 stars because 1. I hope developer adds details for smaller structures and 2. An ad came up and covered all the buttons so it completely ruined the purpose of the app, so if you could place it on top of the screen instead of the bottom it'd be great. It works without an internet connection!!!! thank you 🙏💕
