My Cake Calculator
It allows you to calculate in real time the number of shares of your wedding cakes and the amount of sugar paste needed to cover your cakes. All sizes are possible!
You will visualize your creation with a 3D preview. You will be able to choose the colors and textures for each tier and define the composition of your cake!
The application will offer you cutting plans for your floors of all possible sizes. You can print a real size map.
You can also manage your recipes and calculate the quantities of ingredients, the cost and the weight of your cake.
You can also do conversions in all units useful in pastry (cup, oz, lb, kg, °F, ...).
Everything is calculated in real time, nothing is predefined, you do what you want!
This app does not display any ads but requires a subscription to perform calculations and preview your cakes.
The features are as follows:
- Choice of the shape for each floor among 16 possible shapes (round, square, cone, heart, star, flower, pyramid, ...).
- Ability to add pillars (number and size configurable).
- Choice of the size of the shares (classic, generous or personalized).
- Select the type of cake (traditional or entremet).
- Real time calculation of the number of parts and the quantity of sugar paste required.
- Choose the composition of your cake (number of layers, cream thickness and colors).
- 3D preview of the outside and inside of your cake.
- Display of the cut plan of the floors of your cake. All sizes are possible because the plans are calculated in real time by our powerful algorithm.
- Expert mode: place your tiers as you wish (by specifying the coordinates of each floor).
- Choose the color of the tiers and the board.
- Ability to choose a texture for each floor.
- Define if a tier is dummy, , naked or rainbow.
- Define your ingredients and recipes biscuits, fillings and smoothing ganaches), the app will calculate the quantities of ingredients, the cost and the weight of your cake.
- Export your project, recipes, ingredients and cutting plan in PDF format (A4 or Letter format).
- Print your cutting plans at full size, you just have to stick sheets between them.
- Save your cake projects for later review.
- Unit converter (mass, volume, temperature, length): all units required for pastry are present (US, UK, international).
- Choice of units (cm / in - kg / lb).
- 7 languages available (French, English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German and Portuguese).

Very lovely design but way too complex for a simple design. If you have your own business, this is for you. If you just want to design a simple birthday cake not so much. Large focus on structural design than topping. I just want to play around with frosting and piping ideas without getting everything out. Costs a subscription but it's little less than 2$ a month or 18 a year (aud), which is pretty reasonable for its functionality.
This is a great app. The only problem I have that it does not open the "decorating tool" in the preview window. So I can do basics but I can not add anything like flowers or text to it. Please tell me how FOLLOWING ON MY REVIEW.Is the decor function added yet? I need to renew my app but just needs to confirm first FOLLOWING ON MY REVIEW. Would you email us when the update is ready I can not wait. Are very very excited. UPDATE: Oh wow I love the new function. Cant wait for more. Great app
This would be an awesome app, but there are literally zero function features available unless you subscribe and pay. I wouldn't pay for something if I cannot see how it's basic functions work, regardless of week trial. Downloaded and using a competitor app.
Horrible I know they have to make money but you could have certain things that are free. I found it very confusing and would not recommend unless changes are made so at least it's easy to use
I love this app, best one out there. Hoping one day there will be more decorating options such as adding a drip in an alternate colour extra.
IT IS NOT OPENING
Too bad the software requires recurring subscription fees and offers no possibility to purchase it once and for all. The textures and generated images need improvement, in order for the cakes to look more realistic. There is potential here and with a couple enhancements, the app might become useful, but not when getting milked for it ad infinitum. If one day the publisher adds an option to buy the app instead of renting it, I'll give it another shot, but until then, it is being uninstalled.
