My Chess Puzzles
The goal of all chess puzzles is to checkmate your virtual (AI) opponent no matter what moves they make (a forced mate), in the requested number of moves. All of the puzzles were hand picked and were either taken from actual games or are compositions inspired by actual games. All chess puzzles are automatically verified, so all solutions are guaranteed to be correct and complete.
You can also compete with other players using Google Play Leaderboard system. You get 10 points every puzzle you solve. But if you use retry or hint, you get less points. Plus, puzzles get harder in higher levels but you get more points.

Great app overall, but a few complaints. 1: You can generally tell which move is correct because the cpu will play instantly and not have to read your move and load. 2: I encountered a puzzle in 3move that is impossible- the solution wouldnt actually be check mate. i screenshot the puzzle and have gone over it, I am a national chess competitor so I'm not just an idiot haha. Would love to be contacted so this puzzle can be removed/changed.
1. Board is drawn wrong - bottom-right corner should be white. 2. Includes impossible positionspos, e.g. start position after white' 1st move and it is white moving again ... what?! 3. Unsolvable puzzles, like the one mentioned before with mate in 2! ... 4. In many puzzles computer didn't make ANY move after mine (happens mostly when my next move is certain mate). etc, etc ...
The way it gets harder is very interesting but aslo annoying at the same time as the hints aren't available at all moves. Once you get stuck at some level you will never get out of it unless you can solve. Not very helpful if you are looking to learn something at first.
Great chess training. 1 thing to make it better...when "exceeded limit" or "comlpleted/checkmate" appears PLEASE let the player see the screen before going to menu or next level. You have the bad move or Success move BLOCKED. GREAT CHESS APP!
Somethings wrong maybe with the updates, it takes a very slow response per move unlike previous versions which has a fast response per move.. hope this bugs will be fixed , I can only give 1 star for now unlike previous version than can have 5 stars as it helps us to train chess through this puzzles to solve
Well made and what I was looking for to take me from beginner to intermediate, except I can't see my final move as it gets covered by the "Next Puzzle" screen. Please let me see the board so I can learn the moves I made! Sometimes I just like to try things, and I win without knowing how. Thanks!
The app is incledible good. There are only two down sides: The app doesn't show how many points you have; and it has slow animations - there should be at least an option to make the animations faster in the app.
It could be better ifevery non played (current) level can be resumed in next restart of the app. So that we can play every level where we have started thinking but not completed due to any reason.
This game provide a lot of chess puzzles. The puzzles are good and smart. I like the game. Disadvantage: once go out of the app and return back the puzzle change. After updating, the AI not responding!! now this app is useless.
A promotion should be done just by choosing the desired piece, without unnecessary confirmation. Some puzzles are not 'inspired by actual games' and even not reachable in standard chess, but still beautiful compositions.
I would have rated this a lot higher except the computer only plays to push off the checkmate. It makes dumb moves you would never make in a real game just to make it take longer than the moves allowed. That doesn't teach chess strategy. Also it will not allow me watch videos to get more hints
Great free app with lots of puzzles. I wish the moves made by the CPU were faster. And the reset option was faster and available when the CPU was analyzing.
The game is something! But I would like to add a feature of showing the board after chessmate. And also it will be more interesting to save some puzzles (like favourite ones). Thanks for good game
The puzzles used to be great. Now you make a move and it takes more than five minutes for the game to choose its next move, even when only one move is legal. It's become unplayable.
Puzzles get harder and solutions are not available. The hints are not helpful and eventually you have to watch ads. There is no way to scale back the difficulty of the puzzles. There's no value in using this app to practice chess.
Chess problems, as advertised on the box. What more do you want? All puzzles are of the format to checkmate in a specific number of moves, ranging from 2 to 6+.
1. animations are too slow. 2. it doesn't allow premoves 3. some positions are completely hypothetical like opponents rook cannot be on my side of the board with all my pawns and structure intact.
This app is not working properly.....after 1st move opponent side doesn't move..... please look into the matter ....it is really helpful..
Unlike the version in ios .this version always gets stuck calculating the opponent move making the game unplayable. Please fix
The app doesnt load the next move for the AI if its too difficult of a situation. I can play like 2 puzzles then it stays loading after that. This app was better before.
This was an excellent app.but after updating, it is not available all working properly.hanging all the time..even after a single move. I don't understand why the developers are not bothered to look into it.
The game was great, but some update (either the game or Android) in the summer of 2020 made the game so slow as to be essentially unplayable.
Animations are slooow! Levels are chosen at random, so you can't play the same level later if you quit the game.
Some puzzles don't look real, but the answer can be so easy from the hints! It's making me to see board more clearly.
Some puzzles are wrong. There's no way to report it out explore the position. Great concept horrid execution.
great puzzles but theres no way to review the puzzle before moving on. People new to chess could really benefit from this game.
Very fun puzzles, but 3 moves up, if I make a different than the planned move, the game takes so long to retaliate that it becomes unplayable...
Worst app Takes too much time to load hint And then also we doesn't get hints Some Puzzle we solve are right but then also the. Game hangs And many Times automatic opponent doesn't respond to our move and it's irritate me a lot...
The app is good. It would be excellent if, after solving the puzzle, the puzzle REMAINED on the screen so one could digest the solution. As it stands, as soon as you solve the puzzle, it disappears instantly, never ever to be seen again. An easy fix for the develolers
