My City Taxi

It would be great if when you pre book yet taxy it would actually turn up instead of then saying; "sorry we couldn't find you a taxi" as this has left me in the past in quite a pickle . Also would be great that one the taxi has accepted the job that it wouldn't cancel on you multiple times afrr yuuve been waiting for over 5 Min for it to turn up

Do not download The app is literally worst than calling up. I use city taxis and whenever I call they are fine. however whenever I """"book"""" on this app it is at best a vague suggestion of when I would possibly maybe consider a taxi to show up in the same day if they feel like it. It is rediculous how often I have just ended up waiting on "assigning driver" for up to 30 minutes, it is also clearly a problem with the app as whenever I call there number and book with a human they are on time

Changing form 2 to 1 star, "priory booking" is fals advertising when I book 2 hours in advance and not only is the taxi currently 20 minutes late, and no driver assigned, I called up and was told they had no idea when I'd get my taxi, I'm now late for work, with no idea when I'll make it in, and will probably be exspected to pay full fair still, this is unprofessional, when a taxi is pre-booked, with over 2 hours notice, it should be on time, every time.

Using the application is almost close to useless. You might as well just call them. Good luck pre-booking a taxi for a particular time and not calling them. You not only run the risk of getting your taxi late, you might not even get the taxi at all UNTIL YOU CALL. It's terrible

Cannot book taxis at all, eith experiencing a high number of calls or there has been an issue with the booking no matter what time you book for. As I don't drive public transport is essential for me to get where I need to be, busses are not reliable and now neither are the taxis

Not very user friendly. Not reliable either - was left abandoned at the train station with two young children when the taxi didn't turn up... Was told that it didn't matter that we'd booked hours in advance as most of the drivers had clocked off. We will not be using again.

Used once to pre-book an important appointment. When pickup time arrived the app told me I was being assigned a new driver and to confirm. Nice 👍🏻. When pressing confirm I just got an error message and returned to the default booking screen. Will never use again

Infuriatingly bad. Departure point dances around even if you enter it manually (if you have poor gps signal), If your phone gets a notification while you're using the app, it crashes and you have to start again. Search doesn't find destination unless you know the full postal address, suggests stupid options miles out of your way. Tried to get a taxi to local Aldi, tried to send me to one in the next county. No way to select 'accessible vehicle' if you have a disability.

Uninstalled without ever managing to book a taxi. App crashes every 20 seconds, won't let you pre-book, just keeps giving an annoying pop-up telling you "there are no cars available in your area right now". It's 20 past midnight, of course there aren't! I'm trying to book a cab to the hospital for the morning, but apparently that's not allowed! Utterly useless.

Convenient for when it's necessary to use, however most of the emoloyees are an absolute nightmare. I like the accurate fare estimations. The app itself glitches a lot and always have to restart it,close it down , open it back up again for it to actually load up my pick up address and destination address correctly. It always freezes and tends to be quite low. Other than that, nothing else that is negative... besides most of the drivers are a damn nightmare.

Better than last time, simply because there are two entrances to the barrow hill railway center, and city now know which to use and I wasn't charged waiting time because the driver originally went to the wrong place

Absolute joke, waited 10 mins plus for a driver, had to cancel twice because it couldn't find one each time and I had to catch a train it said it reserved 7.10 from my bank account, and now I'm short 14 quid, joke give me back my money!

The app is really bad at communication, as an example it won't tell you if a driver has been scheduled untill the last minute. I. The past drivers have kept cancelling after accepting the trip meaning it was a very infuriating and streasfull. I still standby my earlier comments that I would only use as a back up in the future.

Not to bad! Does play up now and then - Doesn't give me the option to book a taxi later in the day rather than just straight away!

Booked a taxi the night before, 15mins after the booked time a driver still hadn't been assigned. No way to contact anyone to query or get help. Missed my train. No contact app is not helpful. Won't use again.

Terrible. Utterly useless. I've used this app for years. Now it appears to have been 'updated' and doesn't allow me to sign in any more. I eventually got a City taxi by telephoning, that worked fine! But I will now delete this app and use a different taxi company until City can get it right. I only give it 1 Star because you can't give a score of zero.

The app is fine. However the service as a whole could be improved if they actually employed some drivers to fulfil the requests.

Terrible app but there few other options constantly says all taxis sre fully booked 24/7 so you just have to keep spamming until you get one

Absolutely the worst taxi booking app I have ever used! Never updates so it takes ages before getting told you have a driver. Crashes constantly, once it told me I had no active bookings when I did! When I called their customer service team to basically be told they were still looking for a driver. Couldn't get any updates om the app so ended up having to call constantly. When booking, the app basically tells you there are plenty of drivers nearby when clearly there arent or none accepting jobs!

I was skeptical at first but it all works really well. I have had to make multiple trips to the hospital and other than one slight GPS mix up every call has been spot on

Awful app, when it works it's fine but you've got more of a chance of winning the lottery than it actually working, you can try prebook a taxi a whole day before and it will still say they are busy

Because they could not provide a taxi to an in advance booking, I am missing my train to the airport now. No other words. Just avoid. Avoid and avoid and avoid.

Absolutely ridiculous to get a taxi, where we live there's 2 main offices and not a chance getting a taxi. Can be waiting up to 30 minutes but when in the taxi the driver always brags how many cars city taxis have. What 3 and not over 2000 cars the driver goes on about.

Fantastic experience. My expectations were very low after having read reviews here. The driver has been very friendly and prompt. Recommended!

The app doesn't work at all for advance bookings, only for "call a taxi now". A bit frustrating.
