What a bad surprise to find that this app was meant not only to backup and easy transfer, but to Steal your personal records, e.g. Contacts!? Once you uninstall it (because it's support is terminated, for example), you'll find the gap in your list, relevant to the period of use. What's most frustrating is that even regular Google's backup & restore service and tools cannot help - just because this App has flawlessly kept your data away.

I don't know what had happen but all my contacts i saved in my phone (Samsung S9+) went missing. But thank God i did back up all of the contacts with My Contact app prior to that technical issue. So i decided to restore from the app but unfortunately I couldn't do so as there's no option for that in the app. So strange! I've sent an email to your team but yet to receive the response. Please help me fixing this issue. Until then, I'm afraid that I can only give you 2 stars.

Very unfortunate that I am not able to retrieve my contacts as i am not able to login to this app. It always says, failed successful authentication, cannot login. Support team, plz help me out here

I unable restore my contact. As it log in Mobile app is failing every time. After login in browser site could not proceed As all options are inactive... What is the issue?

I can no longer log into my account, and I may have lost hundreds of contacts to this app. There does not appear to be any support available either.

I used this software for 2 years. I changed so much devices, that this app was a perfect solution! But in last 2 months, im having issues loging in. Please any form of advice or customer support would be helpful! I have more than 1000+ contacts at my MyContacts account. Whenever i try to login it says "Something went wrong, try again later". Please help, and i will change the rate Review to 5 stars. Thanks in advance.

This looked good but after install found I needed to create a login and that it stored info on their server so I didn't use it. I'm not comfortable with my contact in someone's server. Also it was difficult to exit the app as it takes over the screen and there is no "home" button etc visible.

I've lost all my contacts this morning and only getting the message "failed to authenticate user" when I try to login. Changed my password but no luck. The same thing happened to my wife few months ago but I thought that she did something wrong, now I realize that app deleted all my contacts on it's own. I would really appreciate if you could solve this problem asap.

After days of trying to sign in, receiving an error message, changing password, authenticating it through a text code, and trying to sign in AGAIN, only to get the "unable to authenticate user" error message over and over and over.... I now have NO ACCESS to any of my contacts!!! I'm disgusted and pissed--- GET IT TOGETHER!!!

First impressions were good but my phone contacts did not sync with my phone's built in app and if i wanted to continue using this app to access my contacts i needed to pay for the premium service. If you are looking for a free app don't bother with this one. Disappointed, and surprised so many people have given good reviews.

Backup and restore suddenly stopped working. Even after several password reset, it still fails to validate password. There is no other option to restore or export the saved contacts. Eventually, I lost all the saved contacts.

Hello! I've been using this app for a long time (switched 2 or 3 phones with it) but it crashed today and it doesn't allow me to use it. Everytime I try to login an error message pops "failed to successfully authenticate user".

Hello. I can't log in to my contacts for days. It constantly throws out "failed to successfully authenticate user". At first it didn't want to sync my contacts so I deleted the app and reinstalled and now it doesn't allow me to log in.

I instructed the app to download (?)/copy(?) my contacts from two sources. Some of the contacts were on both sources. This app has no function that would merge or combine duplicate contacts. I must look for an app that can do this simple task.

This is what i received from tech support. Bail out while you can before its too late and look for other solutions maybe even print it all to paper if you have to. Whats sad as i had just backed up with my main phone before it failed. and left me stuck. And no i didn't receive any notices. I recall paying for this app and find it a complete B.S situation and theft. From Mark :Unfortunately, it was not feasible for our company to continue the service in your region due to which it was decided to shutdown My Contacts in some countries. We have sent notification to all users on following dates: 03.09.2019 13.09.2019 01.10.2019 The MyContacts service has been shut down permanently which is the reason it cannot be logged in. Telenor Digital had provided the takeout service for users to conveniently backup their data from MyContacts well before the shutdown date. Furthermore, we had also given an extension for the users to download their data from the web version after the official shutdown which ended on (1 December 2019). Hence, there is no other extension or alternatives left for retrieving your data.

I got some error. It took me pretty long time but error at 20% and then when i resync 20% again. Check again in the contact list it duplicated alot of my contact, but still cant be synced. Moreover, i got 52 contacts in my cloud. but after this error appear, my cloud lost 44 contacts. It only 8 right now. Sadly

It is one of the most required app. You can't use a mobile phone without this app. It is really very useful, easy to use and user friendly. All required phone numbers are available at the push of a button with all the required data, names groups etc.

Appeared to have lost all contacts on phone recently but app on phobe has them safe. But when I log into my website there are no contacts showing and no obvious way of transferring them to phone contacts.

I don't like the fact that it relies on this app. I wanted to transfer the data to the Android device. When I clear up some apps including this one all my contacts disappear.

Ths app is a nightmare., I am trying to get customer service to let me know how I can transfer my contacts onto my verizon cloud . So far I get directions that I follow and it does not work. I would not use them

They claim they sent emails out before completely deleting their databases and closing the app but I never got the email and lost all my contacts. EDIT: why in the hell would I write to customer support? You clearly said you deleted the databases and the app no longer works. Remove it from the playstore.

I'm giving this app one star because I can't log into it on my phone. I'm able to change my password and than login online, but the app states that it can't authenticate. I have attempted both ways, with my number and with my email.

It worked really nice and fast. This app is really helpful for transferring contacts from one device to another. You've to just enter your mobile no. And you're done.

Does what it says on the tin. It's helpful to have a copy stored. Having just paid for another year I am so glad I had this APP because I lost my Ipad but still had all my contacts intact on the APP...what a blessing!

It made an exact backup copy of my phonebook to cloud. Editing the phone list is easy. Sync by clicking. All in one apps that is easy to use.

App is garbage I just have not uninstalled it yet, but I will, it says its supposed to sync ure contacts to ure NEW device or whatever ure using, but it ACTUALLY did quite the opposite, in synced my contacts to when I had 15 & NOT my 200 contacts & emails *& I LOST ALL my contacts because this app is TOTAL GARBAGE!!!! DO NOT INSTALL AND USE AT ALL, THERE ARE WAY BETTER APPS OUT THERE TO TRANSFER CONTACTS...
