Connecting to the Internet in the parks: Without a strong Internet signal, wait times, park hours and schedules may not update accurately. You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings.
Note: Some features in this app will require your full name, country, birthdate and email address, as well as access to your location data. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager.
This app will request access to your camera to scan credit cards for purchases, link tickets and passes to your account, and scan and link PhotoPass cards. The app will request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing.
Optional planning tools may also ask you to provide details about your travel party. Some features in this app include the ability to make purchases and will require a Wi-Fi or mobile carrier data connection. Guests must be 18 years or older to make purchases.

The new app doesn't work at all on my Android phone. After installing, the icon is greyed out and won't even open. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still doesn't work. The old app won't let me log in, so I have no way to access my itinerary, find information, or plan fastpasses, etc. with my mobile.
Great app to have while in the park. Makes planning very easy. Only negatives about this app: wait times are often inaccurate, and recently the dining reservation portion of the app has stopped working completely... other than that, its great. A must have if visiting the parks/resorts.
This is one of the most inconsistent, unreliable apps I've encountered. In addition, it frequently generates errors under the heading of technical details. Unfortunate, since Disney forces you to do nearly everything online.
User friendly and very helpful. The only complaint is when I was looking at wait times the map would automatically show me magic kingdom park even if I was at a different park, then I would have to zoom out, locate the park I was at, and zoom back in to find the wait times.
Supposedly an "update" to My Disney Experience", MDX does not replace MDE. After installation, dining reservations failed 100% of attempts, yet MDE worked flawlessly. similar problems with Fast Pass attempts. MDX is NOT ready for full customer use, and I am removing it. As a long time Disney-phile, I have accessed both the website and the MDE app using my Disney "username", something I am quite fond of keeping. The new app requires your E-Mail address.
This app is a must have for anyone going on a Disney Holiday. I would like if it was more user-friendly, but apart from that, this app is amazing. You can get fasspasses, book reservations and view queue times.
Parts of home screen cut off on both Android and iPhone. Thought we had conflicting dining reservations, when we didn't. Didn't match desktop version. Slow and buggy. Ruined much of our visit. Disney should put more effort into this!
App crashes all the time. For Android using Nova Launcher I have two of this app listed, one crashes all the time and the other says it needs to be updated. Typical of Disney apps on Android, they dont sell phone cases for Android phones in their parks either.
I love this app, it is a great help in holiday planing, it's also just plain fun. I would have given it five stars but there are some features that can't be accessed in the UK, witch I do understand but I kind of feel like I'm missing out. If you are going to Disney you need this app, it will make your life easier without a doubt.
WHEN it works, its great. Too often it seems the app cannot connect. Additionally, Disney's entire FP+ sometimes works, but often doesn't. Much too often you must go to the website
Ap has proven to be unstable and locks up a lot. Unable to make any dinner reservations. Keeps telling me to update even though I have the latest version. Unable to use the features as advertised.
The app keeps requesting that I update it, but I already have. It will not allow for me to buy tickets, reservations for dining, etc. NOT android friendly. Please fix this. This is awful to experience when in the parks.
Really need to fix the bugs, not able to view menus or make dining reservations as well as no character set times. As an android user I did not have this issue before the update, please fix.
Some things are slow and menus dont pull up for dining. Also there are no times for dining options. When looking for food, it helps to know what is open and what they're serving.
This is a great app to plan your trip to Disney, I used it 2yrs ago on our first trip and am using it to plan our trip later on this year, it let's you know ride waiting times and you can see where all the characters are for Photo opportunities, and you can plan where you want to eat so it's a must for your visit and you do your fast passes on here too.
Works great on android, not so much on iPhone. When booking dining reservations on Android, it always crashes or says theres technical difficulties. Fasrpasses always work and are easy to schedule.
This app is to difficult to navigate. It's hard to move from screen to screen and it didn't automatically switch to a park when you filter on it.
DOES NOT WORK! told by old app to upgrade to this one. Downloaded as seperate app and will new app will not open. Thankfully old one still works so using that. Not too sure what this one is all about and how anyone has got it to work.
This app really makes it easy to choose menus and plan days long before entering the parks. On top of that, it gives real time wait times for rides.
I updated the app yesterday and I cannot use any of the functions including viewing all my photos. I believe the photos are lost.
very easy to use. sometimes the map won't zoom in and out without getting glitched but overall a really great tool for the parks!
It feels like this app was built by high schoolers learning to code. It's laggy and buggy and missing unification with other Disney services. But the map is very helpful
This app keeps crashing I had to go and re download the old Disney experience app and now I can't delete this one from my phone since this one just kept crashing and refused to open up everytime I tried to use it.
We used the app 3 years ago for our trip to WDW and it was very useful. I get into the app every so often to see what's new and locate places we may go next time we are down there.
Watching WALT DISNEY WORLD on my cell phone makes a person feel Like they are there at the parks in Florida for real Just having a good time. Until I can get back there for real this App makes me feel Like I am already there for real having Lot's & Lot's of fun on all of the rides in all 4 of the Theme Parks. MGM/ANIMAL KINGDOM/MAGIC KINGDOM & EPCOT. ENJOYING all of the food & drinks & the Entertainment & Last but not Least the shopping. Gettening Lot's & Lot's of gifts for family & friends.
Many times we have had problems getting information. We would get a message that information is available. If you continue to try it will eventually come up. Other than that the app works great.
Like the app overall, however it's sometimes hard to navigate. The filter for Disney parks works intermittently which is a bit frustrating. Also, it's hard to figure out how to link your hotel or where to find that information as it seems be in two places.
