Edit: well, I can finally log in, but apparently my number "is no longer active" 🙄. It's definitely still active!! Previous review: I can't log into the app. It hangs, and then says it's having "technical difficulties". I have a recurring payment that I need to cancel! This is ridiculous. The website show no option to log in either. I see from other reviews that this has been going on for almost a month - fix it, Eir, or provide some information as to what's going on and when it will be fixed!

The app is functional for the most part, it is no worse or better than the My Eir website. However, it is very slow, and if it is kept running in the background after use and not closed completely, the phone immediately slows to a crawl and quickly heats up, draining the battery significantly.

1🌟for attention. 5🌟 after major flaws get fixed. The app was designed as a way for customers to top up. Years ago on a much older app version, I could top-up when I ran out of credit. Makes sense right. No credit, okay I'll just open this app & top-up, eh wrong. Allow this app access to data even after the customer's has expired as a means to top-up. I know of your alternative methods but they have been useless to me while travelling in the UK/EU. Pin this request in all future releases.🌟🌟🌟

the app doesn't work. it lets me log in then logs me out after a few seconds saying that my session has expired. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but issue persists. I have spoke to the support team about this for over an hour with all that they did was change my password. My eir works on web browser no problem it is just an issue with the app. this app is pointless until they fix this issue. this has been mentioned a number of times in reviews but with no reply.

Appaling service! Simple thing as Bill payment requires loads of patience and effort - still not successful! I was trying to log into my account for last hour - THATS A WHOLE HOUR WASTED ON SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE STRAIGHT FORWARD - no luck! Getting messages "Oops something went wrong", "account is already logged in" - when I am not, loading log in details for 2 min, eventually being banned for 30 minutes. Tried number 1901, which Eir states can be used to pay bill - useless, no preset OPTION to choose bill pay. Can't wait for contract to expire

My eir app is beyond bad. If you had an account with eir before and you want to register with a new account number it won't allow you. It took MANY calls to try and sort this out and me suggesting that they clear my previous history. Not only that! To get the free Amazon prime video is like trying to win the lottery! If you have an Amazon account with the same email you have for my Eir, it will charge you the 5.99 subscription! Apparently you need to use a completely different email on Amazon.

On the rare occasion I am able to log into this app, I'm not able to actually top up. Eir have saved all my payment details and now I can't even access them to delete them or top up. "Support" are no help nor support and claim to have no knowledge of this issue despite all the reviews on here saying the same. Don't waste your time and go to a phone network that actually take customer feedback seriously and have an app that actually works.

Wish I could give it no stars. Trying to use it for anything, either says my account is no longer in use, which it clearly bloody is, or just says loading until I have to give up. Can't get through to customer service unless I have an hour to spare. Seriously, for the nation's telecommunications company, it's shocking how slow and technologically incompetent they are. Website is as much use as the app.

It simply doesn't work, and reading through the comments this issue is unsolved since july. It show the login screen, asks for email, then password, and then switch back to the login screen again. Don't waste time installing it, since looks like they don't care at all about the app.

Bad, really f***ing bad. Your app doesn't work. I have no way of checking any of my bills. Eir have been having technical issues for weeks and working on a fix. That is all the app says. Never mind, next time I have a few hours to spare I'll ring your award winning customer service.

As program developer myself who works with Web Applications I feel frustrated while using this application. There is a problem with details as when trying to update my details and that also applies to your my eir on eir website as well. Plus what's the point of have finger print scanner showing up as it doesn't work properly.

I just can't wait for my contract to expire and get away from this service. Just so inferior to my previous supplier in every way. Multi room service is awful cant view sports etc cant record. Sports pack changes without warning. Can only record two channels. Yet it is pretty much same price. Very disappointed.

If I could give this app no stars I would, i have uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple time and I have net yet even logged into it. A notification keeps popping up saying they can not find my log in details and to try again later. Absolute disaster of an app from one of the biggest mobile networks in the country

Last year was a great handy app. Since october 2020 cannot log in at all, neither with app or on google. Keeps loading after email entered and never gets to password stage. Seeing alot of people have had excate same issue. Pretty annoying. No explanation either just that is should be working and it still hasnt been for 3 months!

Terrible! haven't been able to login for weeks now and updating didn't solve it. When I was able to login, the navigation was clumsy, slow and it forces you to login everytime. Honestly you are better off using the website directly.

An absolute disappointment as it has not worked ever since I downloaded tha app in October 2020. I have a broadband and phone contract with this network, the coverage is terrible and doesn't work at times. I will definitely change my network provider as soon as my contract is over.

Hands down one of the worst apps I've ever come across. Won't let me top up. Doesn't recognise my number as active. Wont show the plan I'm on despite receiving emails confirming it. Deleting in case it trys to scam me out of money. Stay away and use your banking app to top up and register in a store to save yourself headaches.

Should be zero stars. Doesn't show your data usage for 4g mobile broadband and just like the website, it forgets you're logged in every 5 seconds. Along with barely anything else working in the app. Eir, I'll fix the app for you. Get in touch with me please. Your current developers are clearly not up to the task.
