Like a fishing guide this app will consider many factors that affect fish behavior in order to predict where they will be and how actively they’ll be feeding. This freshwater fishing guide supports bass, sunfish, crappie, perch, walleye, catfish, trout, salmon, pike and musky.
The free version of My Fishing Advisor was discontinued two years ago, but it's back and better than before. Version 2.0 is faster and more powerful than earlier versions, and has new features. Most functions are available in the free version, but there are some Pro Features for a small fee that serious anglers will want to unlock.
Build your own collection of fishing spots and My Fishing Advisor will help you pick which ones are most promising at a given time. It will help with lure selection, and even details like the most appropriate rods, line, hook sizes and sinker weights. Beginners use My Fishing Advisor to take the frustration out of learning to fish and to find success much faster. Experts use My Fishing Advisor to find patterns they might otherwise overlook and to find and catch fish more consistently.

This app in 2015/2016 was targeted and right on. 2017 and now worse in 2018 is so off the mark I wouldn't wanted any time with this and certainly dont clutter your precise phone app space with this. I was such a loyal and paid customer. Paid twice when phone lost and no app backup. Didn't care. App was great...at the time...now...good riddance
My experience with this app has been a very delightful one. For the cost of $6 it has been very helpful and very very usefu.Mostt people's problems with this app I think are their phone ,their service or they're not looking at lunar charts.Just because the fish are active does not mean they are bitingJjust because they are biting does not mean you're going to catch anything either. Gert a tour guide if you want anything more for $6.00.I also like that I didn't have to create an account.
The length of the delay in the loading screen to force me to read about premium features is unnecessarily frustrating. Other than that its ok.
Love this app . I fish mainly farm ponds & fishing times is great . But always best time to fish is always now. Gone FISHING
its awsome 10/10 would recommend. i could never be able to catch nothing in 50 degree wheather and i installed this and it worked
Might be okay for freshwater fishing, but has no option for selecting saltwater.

i payed for pro changed phone and now no longer have it. worked ok when i did have it.

The latest version of this app really ruined it for free users who now have to thumb through three pages of nonsense just to get to the app. It almost makes it more trouble than it's worth. Plus free users can no longer change their fishing style? I don't like the new look either, the font is ugly and hard to read. I understand app developers wanna make money too but rather than sign up, I think I'll just stop using the app.
I have to concur with many other recent reviews.... I do NOT like the crammed together, hard to read update. Also, what happened to the crappie jig section in lure selection? I fish with those little jigs about 90% of the time, and now I can't plug them into my plan. I really preferred the previous version. Also, why in the world would ANYONE recommend 30lb line for crappie? They'll swim right past that ROPE... anything beyond 8-12lb line for crappie, is ridiculous. I really liked the previous versions, but like most updates to any app, it's impossible to downgrade once an update has been swallowed. Were I not a Pro subscriber, I'd probably just uninstall it and go back to my wits alone... but I consider the purchase price of this one to be on the high end for apps (like $6!). Here's hoping the layout changes back someday. To the dev: you DO NOT have to constantly be changing the app to have a winner. Often times, you screw the pooch more than anything... and you've def done so with this latest version imho. I'll continue to use it, but only on a device that hasn't taken the update. On my phone however, its about to be deleted. :-(
I find the app very useful, however I would like to see pictures also offered for the various types of rigs and equipment options
You should have a wider range of lure categories, for instance, there are three types of hard swimbaits, Glide baits, multi jointed swimbaits and non jointed swimbaits. You can go to an online tackle store and go through there tackle categories and fill in what you don't have.

Wish it had Sauger and Saugeye on it. But otherwise a great app that I use religiously.
Not sure what happened, app was great earlier. Now I can't even get past the intro without it force closing on me.
Definitely helps out a lot with narrowing down spots to go to. I use it all summer constantly but the only downfall I find for the app is, cause I live in Canada and I ice fish a lot I thought it would be really awesome if you could add a few features for anglers who do ice fish.
