This application empowers the CCW (concealed or open carry permit) holder by giving you the direct information that you need to follow the maze of arcane, complicated, and dissimilar gun laws in each state and in each situation. It provides all this information with an easy-to-use User Interface. Laws are updated monthly or more frequently!
This application comes with many features for current Firearms Legal Protection members:• A convenient map, useful in planning a trip. Choose (and save) your current license or permits (both Resident and Non-Resident) to see which states recognize your permits. Shows a map (and list) of States in which you can legally carry. • Access and review the relevant firearm laws and gun prohibitions for every state. Find the prohibited locations, transportation rules, permit process, and more for every state! Provides direct links to the laws themselves and the pertinent federal laws. • Convenient monthly (or better) updates downloaded directly to your phone. These changes stay with the app, and are available offline once downloaded! • Compiled list of "best" links (State Statutes for each state, Direct Reciprocity Information, CCW Application forms, State FAQs) • Interactive state maps showing the states recognizing a specific permit, all the permits that a specific state allows, state map of type of permit available, map of states recognizing your permits. • Save your list of permits for easy recognition. Allows you to store your permit number, expiration and notes.

Edit: The fix for being locked out of your account (if the solution you see floating around here doesn't work) is to go to the FLP website and reset your password from there. Once that's done, you then use that password to log into the app. That took care of it for me. Now that I'm back in, the app is great, especially as a one stop shop for the legal component of CC.
App has quite a good bit of useful information in it, but damn the UI looks like it's from 2010. An update to the UI and layout of the app would do wonders and bring it up to 4 stars. To earn the last star, the other "sister" apps (like Posted!) should be integrated into the app as well in my opinion, or simply advertised as resources.
The app stopped working. It won't allow me to login, just like everyone else is reporting. It says "can not authenticate" it keeps saying wrong username or password. The developer says they fixed it and to uninstall and reinstall. I did all that as well as change my password on FLP's website so I know I have the correct password but it still doesn't work after all that.
Got notice of having to change password, sounds like everybody got the notice but now can't login through the the app. I guess you can always just go to the website, that seems to work.
App doesn't connect with the server. Could not authenticate. Its useless as it is now. Was able to reset my password on the web.
As of recently have not been able to use anymore, i hope they roll back the changes. * Unable to get pass the login screen
Can't login to the app. It will not connect to the servers even if you have the correct password or change it from web browser.
It will not let me log in. Keeps saying cannot authenticate. Even changed my password on the web and still couldn't log into the app.
Great app! For anyone with login issues, it is just the same login you use to access your online FLP account.
Tells me what i need know, plain and simple. And a great little compliment to signing up for the programs they have. Win/win

If the police are standing in front of you, don't be rude and say I'm on the phone with my lawyer.
Won't allow login.
The app works and the information could definitely be useful but it needs a major overhaul, it has a very outdated look and feel. It should also have access to My FLP account. I just hope the service (if needed) is better than the app/website is.

Good idea but the app keeps crashing

This fix for the "Can not Authenticate" issue worked for me. I hope it works for many of you as well. Hi Karen, We have found a specific problem for many users. After you type in your email address on the "logon" screen, and then go to password, please go back to your email address. Click on the far right of the address, and see if the phone added a blank space after it. Would you mind confirming if this is happening or not? On a lot of phones, the "auto correct" adds a space after your email address when you go to the next line. You have to manually delete that space... It won't allow me to login, just like everyone else is reporting. It says "can not authenticate" it keeps saying wrong username or password. I did the uninstall and reinstall and restarted my phone and still it will not allow me to login. I know my email and password are correct. I'm giving it one star only because it isn't allowing me to login. It was great when I had it on my other phone and it worked.
