Nice app. Setup was simple and suggested foods Are right inline with my needs as an esrd patient. Remember that no food is perfect. To set a year, tap the current year at the very top of the calendar window and scroll to the year you want entered.

Let me type it in. I'm not going to scroll back thru every month for 44 years just to use app.

Joh. B. Oct 5, 2016

The app only lists restaurant meals and prepared dishes to buy. No food you'd buy is listed at all. This app is of no use.

i put in the registration that the diet was for ckd level 4 with high potassium and many of the recipes contain food items to be known for having high potassium.

Needs a disclaimer that not all foods list their potassium and phosphorus. It could cause a patient to think they are consuming less than they actually are. After Trying it I chose not to recommend it because I thought it could be dangerously misleading. Davita does have disclaimer when potassium or phos not listed for a food

Fix your calendar who has time to scroll back through years one click at a time before you can even use the app!. un-installed

Couldn't even use the app because when signing up it wouldn't let me scroll down to accept the terms

Ric. O. Jan 30, 2016

Was really excited about finding this app to help with menu planning but after reviewing some of the recipes I was very disappointed to see how many recipes contain foods that are prohibited or discouraged by EVERY kidney disease organization I have reviewed. Someone really needs to review these recipes.

On the grocery items, almost all were frozen products. Those are usually loaded with sodium, phosphorus, and potassium. All are horrible for dialysis patients. Please get a dietician to give us tips on the best protein products etc.

Not user friendly and missing information.

Tam. D. Feb 1, 2016

Help me out alot

The recipes provided have ingredients that no patient on dialysis should ever eat.... If I didn't know any better, this app could could do a lot of damage! Educate yourself regarding proper nutrition, DO NOT rely on apps that could dangerously misinform you..... Do not download this app if you are serious about your health!

Didn't get past setting up my profile, could have let me know pre download that the app is only suitable to usa instead of wasting my time and money

When signing up it says you have to agree to the terms but there where no terms to agree to

Great resource for all stages of kidney disease. Would be a 5 if the resources were current. The articles are from 2013 & 2014. I would gladly recommend an updated version of this to my groups.

Too many recipes with food I can NOT eat! Beans, nuts. Hard to find a recipe for me.

Hen. H. Aug 11, 2014

I may not have kidney problems, but I sure would like to prevent it. This app helps me do that.

Wow this app will give you NKF guidelines personalized to your stage and personal profile for recipes and restaurant dishes. And you can go online and put in your own recipes. Looking forward to more!

Seems like a good app but it doesn't appear to have any functionality for people prone to calcium oxalate stones.

Jen. D. Sep 13, 2016

I recently, delt with kidney stones. I have to change my diet, saw this app and thought it would help. But i was a bit disappointed to find that an app from the Kidney Foundation didn't have anything about kidney stones diets, where your website does. I've deleted it, because its of no use to me. I don't have kidney disease, i just have the stones.

After hitting the left arrow button over 700 times (not an exaggeration ) to get my birthdate, this app is not user friendly.

A. G. u. Dec 7, 2016

Calendar to set your birthdate is beyond fruatrating having to scroll back 1 month at a time through all the years back to yours. Then i finally get the account created and try a restaurant search and it will only allow US zip codes. Uninstalled at this point. App is useless unless youre american.
