My Idea - Official Mobile App

The app over time has just gotten worse.It takes ages just to open ( and I am using Idea data to do so) checking the balance, validity and recharging is a real task and in all it's just terrible. An utter waste of time and it doesn't help that the network keeps going, as well the data keep getting disconnected and don't even get me started on customer care. I used to recommend this service provider before, I can't say that anymore. And the terrible app makes me stick to my opinion.

Worst app, it's open some time and most of the times it's not, and after deleting it, the notification pops up in every 2 min to download it, and this alerts notifications stop work I am doing at that time, it's pop-up every 2 min. It's very frustrating, Idea has a worst network, it has so many call drops, it's Very frustrating so I don't have option other than to port it.

So many issues with this app. It doesn't work when the phone is set on idea net connection but works fine on wifi. Its own network is not capable enough to handle the app data. Also the app needs to he refreshed all the time even after it is launched as it shows old data and not real time data. Had to reinstall the app multiple times to even get my recharge info.

Idea is the total waste of money. Initially it was very good, the call quality was superb, very clear but now its a waste, worst. Call do not connect, very bad voice quality. The internet speed is not even 3G speed & they are selling it as 4G. I will be switching to other service provide as soon as my current unlimited plan finishes. Really frustrated.

this is the worst app ever. Whenever I open this app, it always shows "error" and never fixes by reloading it. Also, the internet speed is too much slow and feels like 3g ,although I have 4g pack. And many of the times, the net automatically turns off and speed comes to zero and it stays like that for many minutes!! I Have to reboot my phone several times to get the speed back, only then (still not every time) it fixes. AND NOW I WOULD ONLY SAY THAT THIS APP IS NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED BY ME..

This is the worst app and network service on my phone. Every time I open app, it shows network error (using Idea data service 😆). Every time I have to try for second time to connect a call, even not able to call customer care service. It's automatically gets disconnected. Raised this issue several times on app and customer care, they just give false information about query resolution. One of the best disguise network service.

Idea network gives very bad service. Voice over phone call is not clear at all. No network connection in certain rooms. There used to be no full network. Always need to go out to receive a call. Internet doesn't work properly. Videos can't be played. Very slow network. Must look over to some other option like jio or so. Thinking to port my number.

I dont have issues with app i believe it must be good. But any one reading this please do not take this service provider. do not subscribe to Idea. it has a very bad service. Network is most of the time on H+ i.e. 2G, even if it shows 4G the network speed is as bad as 2G. It keeps on buffering. Works only at late night when there are fewer users. Voice is equally bad reasons 1. due to call drops which happen very frequently. 2. Very low voice quality and basicaaly fed up.

Because of the double data offer I recharged my idea sim for once but never again will I use this sim again, this has always been a problem with idea, it doesn't matter if you give double data if we can't even use quarter of it in the first place. They say 4g but the speed cap wouldn't even cross 100kbps in day time, only in the early evening and late night the internet speed cross 500kbps speed. Really disappointed with the service are being a loyal idea customer for over a decade.

There isn't zero star rating option available else I would have choosen that only.... Worst service from VI. Even 3G service was having such a nice speed internet connectivity. They are calling it "fastest network". Their app isn't able to open with their network connectivity. Do not get into services of VI, if you are thinking for such a service.

The bad, worst, horific network service provider. Always says sorry for the inconvenience but never solve the problem. The only option that i have is to switch from this bad service provider i. e idea to a good service provider which is airtel. They only know how to cheat the customer by offering double data. And also after updating the app it does not work well only shows no network. Net speed is also worst. Whenever open any app the only thing visible is buffering.

New UI is really great. But it's just filled with glitches and bugs. Looks so great but you just can't use it. Issues including no back button working at certain pages and clicking on many plans wouldn't even go to recharge. Have someone to test all these than asking users to give the list of thousand errors. Pay someone to test your app and give feedback.

This app is really simple to use and eliminates the need to head out to get mobile recharge transactions done. It provides details about your plan, mobile data usage and all essentials However, the application keeps asking me to re-login everytime I open it again. As a customer, I have one sim card on my phone and having to login again (USING OTP) every time I close and open the app is really frustrating. Hopefully that is something that will be worked upon and improved.

Its a piece of junk. Please dont install it. Mine keeps loading forever. It shows last updated 2 months ago. It never loads even with a very good internet connection of 100mbps speed. I dont know if it requires more speed than this. Never shows any error why its unable to load the data. Now Idea people please dont tell me to mail you or contact you for support, you will resolve my issue. I dont want that. Thank you so much. I have uninstalled your app and never going to use it again in my life.

Very worst connection nowadays. I've been using idea connection for many years. But for last 6-7 months the I don't get enough network coverage. I couldn't even able to make calls. It's showing 'emergency calls only'. I have complained many times to the customer care. That time they tell the issue would be cleared in short time. After that for 4-5 days we get enough network coverage. Then the same issue occurs. Even BSNL 3G is much much better than idea in our area.

Idea sim is the worst , I have been using it from past 3 or 4 years but now it is really malfunctioning, the internet speed is too slow and also the network is very bad no matter wherever I go I can't use the internet properly, when I asked for help in the app it told me restart my phone but it didn't helped at all the network was the same, I had enough of this I am really going to port out.

Well, Idea is no longer good. Believe me it's he'll of a slow network. New app is not so user-friendly and it does not retrieve balance quickly. It generally gets error messages regarding server problem. May be the new upgrade is not so strong. Please review and do something about it. Best is Airtel. Super fast.

One of the worst network I never seen in my life. From past five months am facing data issue. Even the signal is high but the net is very very slow. I raised a network related issue multiple time but no use. I dropped mail to customer Care but no response. Even the idea store staff is very rough I try to explain my issue but the response from staff is very horrible. It's better to switch (port) other network am definitely switch. Am frustrated with idea. Am using idea from very long.

A completely useless upgrade has been done to this new idea App. There is no feature to contact live support for help. App hogs on phone memory. Most of the time, features are unavailable and apps breakdown with "Oops" message. Developers and their team who have designed this upgraded version of idea app are fresher programmers, it seems, and should be fired from their jobs. Its a completely useless app from IDEA and earlier Idea app was far better and never had any problems in its working.

Wow! This app almost never works!! Really hate it. I don't understand every single time why does it show "We're sorry! We're unable to fetch your account details!" n blah blah blah. 2 stars because at least it lets me through the recharge even though it takes hell lot of time (like at least 2-3 minutes for one recharge to go through) even when my network is very very well. Otherwise I would give it no star. Please switch this back to old view. That was way better than how it looks now.

Most pathetic app is one of the best network cellular connection. Specially, the customer contact services are the worst, one can not do chat and luckily if to get the chance for the same then the auto options always makes it mess. Lot of things to say about this rubbish app but one final is to complete my long usage experience. Which is 'Worst'

This app has gotten useless after a few updates. It keeps signing me out every now and then. So I have to register on it using my mobile number and OTP everytime which is very annoying. Secondly the data balance doesn't get updated. It still shows the data balnce of the last time you opened the app doesn't matter if you did it 3 days ago. Even after refreshing several times it doesn't updata remaining data. And many times it shows server error.

After the new update, the app is very stable and lag free. Plus it shows validity of all my balances,which was not there in the old version of the app. The old app was too laggy and not user friendly as well. Now the interface looks better than before. Keep up the good work.

If there would have been option to write a comment without selecting even a single Star, I would have preferred that the most. Everytime I open the app, the "Error" popup appears. One can't even check data balance or talktime balance. The app doesn't serve the purpose at all. Also, network issues are best in the disguise, never works!!!!

Poor experience never works fine. whenever i open the application it never shows me the data or balance quickly it will take some time. I have tested this under 4g data and under wifi its the same condition. I donno what Idea is doing to keep customers satisfied. I updated the application recently and after opening it.. at the initial stage of putting your phone number it doesnt goes thru.. shows "our servers are down" is this our problem your servers are down. We are paying you full amount.

Worst app and worst sim Card, data service company ever!!!! The app is awful and keeps hanging even with phone of 6 gb ram, often times the offers don't apply and the customer service never responds. I keep begging for the flash messages to stop but they turn it off temporarily and then turn it in again. The network fluctuates over and over just inside my room and often ruins my browsing experience by jumping from 4g to 2g and sometimes not showing network for hours.

I have been facing issues from past few weeks and contacted the care all they tell you to just switch off your phone and try again... The data speed is low and the audio call network is very poor that my calls get cut in middle. I'm not able to do my work due to poor network quality. Very disappointed with the service, porting to other network soon. I recommend other network than idea/Vodafone.
