My IP
This is a simple app to get your local IP (the one your phone has been given by your ISP) and your Internet IP (the one visible through Internet).
Most of the time they differ because your ISP doesn’t have enough public IP (Internet routable IP) so they give you unroutable IP and use NAT (Network Address Translation) to hide your phone behind a routable Internet IP address.
With this app, you will also get :
- the hostname (reverse lookup) associated with your internet IP
- location details based only on your internet IP : country, region, city and postal code. This is not based on GPS or wifi access point you could sense, but only on your IP.
There is also an integrated widget you can add to your homescreen.

It's fast
Gives false information: Local IP address is totally wrong. Does not report NAT type like competing apps. Bloated: uses 4.41MB internal storage and can't be moved to SD card. There are better apps that use 1/6 the space. Can't copy and paste results to other apps. Can't save to database or log file. Does not report SSID with results. Doesn't give choice of STUN server.
