Trash app for a trash product. We paid an electrician to install Leviton smart switches throughout our entire house - about 15 switches. We could have saved money and bought normal light switches, since that is effectively what these are. They have to be reprogrammed on AT LEAST a weekly basis, sometimes more. Sometimes they will not connect at all. There is just no point in having them since they are so unreliable. Complete waste and not worth the frustration.

Could you include a feature under the present light levels, by time of day. At the very least utilizing the sunset and sunrise feature! I can't seem to build an activity or schedule to set varying default brightness, without actual toggling the light on or off with the adjustment.

Easy setup for devices and schedules. App features can be intuitively figured out, but would appreciate more descriptions and documentation - still looking for some of it. Need to pay attention to exactly what kind of device you are setting up e.g. 2nd Gen etc. Better than my Insteon that went out of business.

Terrible experience! The switches don't respond to google home and most of the times not even to leviton app. The "not so famous" switches I bought work perfectly!

It works pretty well. There should be a global firmware update command which can be run on all switches. Start it before bed and wake up to all switches being on the latest version. There should be a scenes feature in the app that can control all lights in the scene and instantly move them all to their preset levels. The promise of smart home lighting control is not realized because of weak apps. You have the physical control, add geofencing to turn the lights automatically when I get home.

I like the app features and options. The set up for devices is straightforward for all types. Switch, receptacle, and plugs. I have 8 installed and functional. For some reason sometimes only 7 will be active and one offline. Not always the same one and no logic as to why they rotate between them. If you wait an hour or two all are back online. Also if you have programed a timer for the lights that command seems to always work even when the app shows the device off line. This tells me the device

Not great, I have 12 switches in my house and when they work it's great but slowly they stop responding. I recently replaced my router and now they won't connect at all. I tried to connect two switches to the new router and now both of them are useless, they won't connect to new or old router, they are just offline. And randomly lights will turn off for no reason. They do it for a few hours then not again for weeks. Half of them just plain don't work. Ridiculous amount of money for junk.

Had to take 1 star off due to the latest app update. I had several 2nd generation Decora smart Dimmers installed at my new home and setup has been frustrating to say the least. I have found it necessary to force stop the app, cleat cache, re open the app and then put my Dimmer in pairing mode , or worse - to factory reset, just to get it wet up. I wish the "add another device" option actually functioned as intended!

Very useful APP with all of my lights in one place. I have 15 devices and the setup was straightforward but time consuming. I have an ORBI Mesh network so no connection issues.

Switch died after less than two years. Still connects to wifi and app but no power out of load lug even though switch and app indicate the switch is on. Tried resetting, cutting power, etc.

Aside from a few small enhancements I'd like to see added, this app and related hardware components are an AWESOME solution to automating and controlling the lighting in your home! I highly recommend this software and it's related hardware.

Pretty good for free. I think it could use improvements in the scheduling feature. It is difficult to get a clear idea of how the lights are programmed to go on and off if you have multiple switches and multiple on/off sequences for each one.

Easy to use and very simple format. Great flexibility within the app for creating and modifying schedules. All devices and groups can also be controlled by my Alexa which is nice. Oh...and no ads whatsoever!! :)

Works well. Logical layout and with some nice versatility.. Took away one star because it requires a confirmation to close out the app. No problem if I close it by mistake so no need for the added confirmation to close step.

Website seems to go down a lot. I cannot control the device as it goes off line. After several device resets I found that if I wait a day the website comes back and and the connectivity returns without any input for me. Levinton comes in one notch above Meross devices which are total junk.

Very buggy. Lights go on and off at random. App sometimes follows programs and sometimes does not. Uninstalling and reinstalling sometimes fixes the problems. Frustratingly inconsistent

Tried to enable a light switch. Several problems: 1. Required creation of an account. Why would this be needed? Annoying but ok. 2. I wanted to enable a light switch provided by my apartment. I dont have the packaging. However there are 3 different light switches, impossible to tell apart from the outside. Ok, I'll manually try setting up each of them, see which one works. 3. Requires enabling location services. This after entering my address. Why do you need both? 4. Still wouldn't work. 1/5

Terrible app overall. If there's an update for this app, your switches or devices will NO longer work... even by physically pushing or interacting with them! I'm constantly having to delete my wireless devices and then re-add them, just to get them to work. But when the app/devices are all up to date, they work. There needs to be an "offline network" option, for those of us who don't use the internet features of this app and merely want to set up lights/devices on a schedule. Not impressed.

I've owned 9 Leviton Decora Wifi Dimmers, switches and wall plug for a few years now. It's been a love hate relationship. Yesterday 7 of my devices show disconnected. I went through the process of trying to reconnect them. It won't get past step 2. I then removed the device from my account and tried again. It failed this way as well on the same step. It sees the device and I select it and click continue only for it to show a spinning circle then right back to the Select Device/Continue screen. I called support. The technician walked me through the sames steps with the same result. He said he would have to transfer me to Level 2 support. I was transferred and got voicemail. Left a voicemail but no call back yet. I continue trying on my own and after about 50 tries I was able to get two more devices connected again, but I am back to getting stuck at step 2 again on any more that I try. This is beyond frustrating. I have switches from a competitor and many other smart products that require setup. I have never experienced the type of frustration with setup as I have had with these devices. When they work, it is great. They are very responsive. However, when they get disconnected it is beyond frustrating to get them communicating again. Please fix the app! I attempted on several different Android devices and an IOS device. Same result across the board. The app issues are going to drive away your customers (old and new).

The update to the app my look athletically pleasing but it is functionaly less so than before. When you used to launch the app you were immediately greeted with the: turn on/off the device and the ability to set the level of brightness. Now, you have to jump through many steps to get to the dimming functionality. In my opinion, that's a step back. Setting up the scenes is a welcome addition.

I had to factory reset the device I was trying to connect to 6 TIMES before it would connect to Leviton's cloud. Strike one. There's no way to have the app scan your WiFi to find a device that is already connected to it because it uses a cloud service. Strike two. (I'm not fond of having my devices having to be constantly connected to an outside computer to work) Once in the settings menu for my device the app wouldn't back out to the operations menu. Strike three. Needs A LOT of work. Not ready for home use

The dimmer function no longer works on any of the schedule timers. It's been over a month now and although it's a known issue, there hasn't been an update to fix it. I went with Leviton over cheaper smart switches because I thought it would be more reliable. I have many of these switches and now I'm going to have to take the time and money to reconfigure my entire home with new switches. Stay away from Leviton smart switches and go with a cheaper option. 2 stars b/c it does go on and off.
