My Library App

My local library uses this app and it does a good job. I can access my loans and reservations easily and quickly. The in-built barcode scanner is a nice touch for ease of access. That said, I'm being really picky but the interface could do with a facelift. It is functional but could look a little nicer. Apart from that it's a robust and well-made app. I like it.

This app is ok but needs a bit more work to bring it up to the same level as the online edition. It's a bit confusing when looking at books and doesn't tell you all the information the online edition does such as the status of something if you've got it on hold. However, I do like the fact you can take a picture of a book and it tells you if it has it in a library. I can see that being really helpful. Apart from that, I would prefer to just go online.

Update on my previous review which I don't seem to be able to change: App now reinstalled but I cannot log in again (saying its a java issue) and so cannot access my info. A local problem? Please look into it

Wouldn't mind if it actually worked for me Constantly comes up with unable to connect to server. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still keeps doing it

Very easy to use. Layout is clear. It would be great if they added a dark mode.

Nice idea, not well thought out. For some reason I can only reserve, even though I'm trying to access ebooks and audiobooks, can't find any explanation on why I can't access them instantly

I find this new app very confusing every time I try to order a book it says no item found. The old system was far more straight forward.

Not that great for when it comes to reservations, like I've placed orders for books and haven't receiving anything for a year and there's no way I can get help to find out what is happening, ugh.

Very limited in its function. Like the scan function but will be using the online version

Would be useful if it showed if the book is on hold by another user on the loan page rather than tell you only when you try to renew it.

Unable to log in as brent council has now closed Kingsbury library and I wanted to return books or now keep renewing. Please could you advise me how readers are going to use this new way of obtaining and returning books Thank you Debbie cunliffe
