My Live Case

I would give this five stars, but you've since discontinued both this feature, as well as the customizable cases that go along with it! You truly need to bring this all back, as it stood among your best features for the Pixel lineup. Here's to hoping that you revamp this program once again 🙂, because my brand new Pixel 3 is currently sitting here caseless due to the case I was in the process of creating now being unavailable 😞. Come on Google, you can fix this situation and do right by all 😊👍

I've had this app for a while now and for the most part its a good app. Unfortunately the app hasn't been working for the past week. It'll give a nice background everyday, and Google Earth will launch when the screen is double tapped. However, the information part of the app has stopped responding. I no longer receive the drtails of what today's background is. Its become a game in which I have to zoom out in order to know where in the world I'm at. Fix the part that's broken and get more stars.

I used this Places case for years on my old phone. It died last and I got a replacement, a refurbished Pixel XL. Put the case on and was excited that the Live Case app download happened, but then the live wallpaper is just back, no visuals. Sad😢, it was really cool, and I don't understand why it doesn't still work.

Nice companion app for Google Live Case. I use it on my Pixel 2. It changes wallpaper everyday. The one con is that there's no information shown in first go of the place that is shown as wallpaper on Google Earth app; it only appears the second time.

Had the case from a few months ago through promotion. Just got new phone to use with the case but it's asking for a numerical code that I can't find inside the case anywhere. Now just using it as a useless case. ): Poor design. Why would you need another code when it's already NFC pairing.... Makes no sense.

It never updated but I still enjoyed the beach scene it got stuck on. Now it's just black with glitchy menu buttons everywhere. I can't believe this case was so expensive 😂

Any pictures you use as a wallpaper through this app will appear incredibly dim. Ruins the whole experience, if it weren't for that it would be a nice app.

Well I don't like that I'm forced to have the picture as my wallpaper. Lock screen, fine. But not my wallpaper. It's too busy and is going to make me nauseous. Not sure I can deal. I've yet to see it change either. I'll give it a day..... Gave it a day and the thing doesn't work. Case is exactly the same as when I took it out of the box. It's going back into it. $50 is a lot to spend on something that doesn't do what it says it will.

Would give a 0 if possible . If you're going to break an app then just get rid of it. I still have and use my Pixel 2 XL and both cases but can no longer utilize the app meant for them.

The live case app may no longer be officially supported, from the Pixel 3 & onwards. The latest cases are now being referred to as My Cases & many of the wallpapers that are associated with the cases, may now be found within the official wallpapers app on Pixels.

Not working after factory reset on Pixel 2. Latest Android 11 might have screwed this app up? The app has not been updated awhile though. This is sad because this was a nice app to use...

Doesn't open at all on Pixel 2. I'm assuming they've just stopped developing since the last update was almost 2 years ago. Too bad I was kinda looking forward to checking it out

So this changes your wallpaper daily....cool, I guess. Not worth $50. I bought it on clearance for $25. Still not really worth it.

with my new phone i cannot get my old wallpapers anymore because i suddenly need some kind of id that is not there. i have an mfc button on the case.

This app hasn't got much too it but it sets the wallpaper and tells you info why are people 1 star this app. The update has fixed everything

The app won't even get me past the screen to sign in and that's just insane the fact that it won't boot past that and being an official google app

Live Case stopped working a week ago. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall it, but now it won't accept my account name to continue. I'm stuck somewhere in the desert in Namorobia or some gawd-awful place...

Doesn't work. I bought a live case, had to have phone repaired and now it won't connect to my account

The app is requesting the code on my live case to activate, but my case does not have a code. So it's a useless app even after buying their case.

I got a live case for a pixel 2 xl and I downloaded the app but its stuck on the sign in page.

Needs a dark theme to tie it in with the rest of the Google app ecosystem changes.

A cool app but some times it's quite glitchy for some reason and I don't know how to fix that

come on guys we should have the option of keeping the original wallpaper and if not that should have been transparently conveyed before purchasing

Wallpapers are not working after the last update.

Use to love "live case" but bought a new case for a new phone and it came without a code. Useless now when you have a case and can't access the wallpaper.
