The developer has responded to my disappointment re 'Facebook Questions' before being able to use the App; ' we don't ask Facebook questions' ... That may be how my comment was viewed. Therefore I highly recommend a short intro (a para of Text) before splashing the screen with a Facebook Ad or whatever you like to call it. If it looks like an Ad I will not click it.
This app provides capability to copy coordinates of waypoints. Google maps does not. It also allows import of waypoints in both kml and gpx format.This is a great feature for saving old waypoints. It also transfers to Google maps for turn-by-turn navigation. Definitely 5 *.
[i / know, what i know- and while i can only assume the text size, can be " made smallest size, but it could reveal difficulties cutting into my leisure\learning, & browsing experience(s') allocation of personal time, although~"; ), point of reference : locating me , (precise on all coordination coordinates, although mistakenly mis-spelled a street which is a common proper actual persons name; one letter had duplicated, my incorrect type of a single letter, but i doubled them..ll] GPS etc. now
Four stars for now, need to observe yet. But the app functions well. What is nice in the app for now are, it goes directly to the Google map and thus having a larger map dispaly compared to the smaller one on other identical locator.
Would be good to have National Grid Coodinates as well as Lat & Long. As I work in Grid References I have to come out of the app to convert. As I use the app to plot wildlife movement I've found upto 30 metres discrepancies across my 2 devices. I run the app on a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8
The Google map apps are all too loaded with pictures from around the world. The app is confusing to use if all you want is the rout from one given address to another.
Reasonably attractive app but unfortunately do not provide street numbers which other similar apps do. I need to be able to tell emergency services an exact street address not just that I am somewhere in a few kilometres range, or to find the correct house number in the dark when I can't see any property numbers.
i love the new look version of this app. only two things!! it needs a compass rotation. and a terrain feature!! and a darkscreen mode!!
Splashes ads immediately, making it impossible to quickly save a place. Defeats the purpose.
Very nice app just what our business needed! Makes it so nice our patrons can see exactly where we are throughout the night! 6 hour sharing is a nice feature also as we don't have to constantly be resharing! 5 Stars! Gladly purchased this app!
An app utilising a combination of GPS and A-GPS; i.e., mobile phone cell tower assistance to geo-locate someone with precision no better than within up to 16 metres of one's actual position is generally quite useless.
Neat app. I found that you can make a 1x1 widget and you can use the notification for a car finder. All with a single tap on the widget.
This is a good alternative to Google Map Time line, just missing one thing, app need to have auto drive direction (start & stop with time) (like Life360), we often forgot to start taking (before beginning of the trip). Hope you consider, good luck 🤞..
