Loyal to a fault, Gen can be a little emotionally unstable.
She falls in love with the protagonist after he saves her life and is willing to do anything for him.
Although she is the daughter of the police superintendent, she does not want to hide behind her father and as a result tends to get herself mixed up in dangerous situations.

The plot is interesting and you cant really help be intrigued by whats going on however it relies too much on making you want to spend cash. It feels like its incomplete if you skip out on some of the "ultimate" choices. There needs to be more ways to get points for rubies or better yet allow everyone start off with 90 rubies so we could have atleast 3 best choices from the start. I make it known again the minigame is just a pain, please either increase points from it or change it.
The story was somewhat interesting therefore it gets 3 stars just for that. However, you are supposed to be able to choose your love interest so shouldnt your character be open to them all? Its really annoying how the protagonist keeps going on and on about a single character..."What about Ray?". If you wanted to make a linear story where the protagonist ends up with a particular character you should have done that instead of giving "choices" while you keep pushing one character on the readers.
It has got a good story but it's so frustrating that you have keep spending or play tiresome minigames to get the only choices worth anything. As a visual novel it is great ,but the "game" elements are what make it maddening. So I'd give both a thumbs up and down. Hence the four stars.
For a little text adventure this game (as well as majority of other titles by Genius Inc) has got two choices: to pay for every meanigful choice and story continuation, or to unistall. I've chosen latter. Even with lowest prices of$2.50 per season or bunch of rubies by the time you get to the heart of the story you ll spend at least $30-50, which is not worth the quality of this game. Just so understand, each major character has max of 7 pictures that just repeat depending on the situation.
i honestly do love these games/ visual novels and thay look great too but its a 2 star because the simple fact that you are given 25 rubies at the start, enough for the first premium choice, and every choice after that cost more than the 25 given so there is no way to get the story you want unless you actually pay for it and this seriously ruins the experience
The story itself is really amazing! The only problem I have with it is you have to use diamonds to do certain things. So every time I want to use that choice, I would have to go to the minigames and most of the time it is rigged. But all of that work was really worth it. Just wish it wasn't where you had to use diamonds to do certain choices.
I really love this game and the others made by you guys. Great storyline, loveable characters, Beautiful character design.I dont like the idea of having to pay to choose the best choices but I understand that the developers also need funds. So it's fine for me paying for the rubies I just hope that story tickets get removed or atleast make the counter go down like 1 hour or so. It takes long to get another ticket.Please make the story longer. Overall great game, keep up the good work.
An interesting story, bit the fact that every other choice is locked behind a paywall is a major downfall in my opinion. perhaps get rid of the premium choices and just allow people to pay to recharge their story tickets faster, but still get the full story.
The story is very nice and adventurous. The only problem which came in all of your sims, until now, is of arrangement of diamonds. The minigame that you provided is very hard to get enough diamonds for a single choice in the whole game. Don't you think that you can improve the game by providing a comparatively easy way to get a few diamonds ??
After a comprehensive, 5-star review of "Protect My Love," I felt obligated to write this. Again, I usually don't write reviews. This game is a masterpiece. As the story progressed, I became attracted to a character I least expected, which I will not write to avoid spoilers. However, all 3 characters are extremely likeable! Thank goodness, rubies and tickets are farmable. Overall, smooth storyline with fantastic writing. The story concludes with an epic ending. Thank you, whoever wrote this!
Solid storyline and graphics overall but I hate the slot machine dosen't pay out the bonus coins fairly. ince I got to around 500 it only pays out 2 coins or nothing at all. That has to be fixed to be fair to people who enjoy playing the slot machine.
Everything about these games are great except your options. Instead of having a clearly bad choice vs a great choice (but it costs money). It should be a good choice vs a better one. Ruins gameplay otherwise
it was great, but when I tried to restart the game to make different choices, it would not let me restart. If you read this "GENIUS INC." please fix that problem. Other than that it was a great game.
The story line is amazing but I don't like how you habe to pay gems to make your choice at times. And then you lose them and have to pay actual money to buy more. Your slogan is "Your Choice" but we dont really have a choice when we lose the gems. Other then that the game is great. Keep up the good work guys😀😀😀
Very fun and entertaining, best of all you don't have to pay to chose more intresting options, but you will have to wait or work for it. The whole thing moves at a really good paste, i love games that give you (the player) to make choices like this game. I very satisfied.
I like the game and the story line but I found the gem stuff rediculous and for some reason on the minigame it started poping up a note saying no videos were available when I tried multiplying the amount of gems. This made it more difficult for me to get any gems for the options that required them. Other wise great game.
I both downloaded this game as well as finished it back in August of 2019! But haven't left a review yet! And this is one of the better genius inc games that I played plus even though it's a spend to play game I absolutely loved this game and this game was the one that got me into these genius inc games! So I'll give it a 5 star rating mainly because it was and still is one of the better games from genius inc! And I choose gen even though Lindsey was my second choice!
the story is really good as well as the graphics but where's the free gems you receive after the end of every episode i really liked your games but this one was not right i hope you can fix it because i really like your games
Scummy Business Tactic I have genuinely enjoyed all of Genius' prior titles even with the gem restriction only allowing for 1 or 2 premium choices however this new game lacks that. As you can no longer earn free gems the game becomes pointless as every option feels lackluster. So much so that I cant even be bothered to finish the rest of the game. Its a shame that such an interesting story and character designs have been wasted just to milk a few extra £/$ from the customers. Im disgusted.
one of the best games I've played, i don't care about waiting for tickets since i can wait at the end of the day to play it, the only thing i would change would be the on how much the time i(the player) would think on a certain character(ray). and another thing i would change would be to buy gems for different dialogs in the story, maybe to get 5 each time you clear the chapter
the last few ticket paths are somewhat of a let down, but they are still good. I went down the Lindsay path and it there were good parts, but then the rest had a hint of bland. dont get me wrong, i would reccomend this, but its just missing something to give it an extra spark.
The game was very cool. Its nerve racking how u only get 2 tickets because you get in the motion of wanting to experience more. but for all you people who complain about tickets you really shouldn't bec if you had a bunch the story would end too fast. as for the gems/diamonds, thank you for allowing us to atleast get them free, but i do agree that y'all should loosen up on the diamond cost it shouldn't take 30 damn diamonds every single time u wanna do something to benefit ur individual.
The overall story is great so far, and the characters are pretty dynamic from what I've seen. I would really like to rate it higher, but with all story-based games, you had to make certain choices cost money. And it ruins the experience for me. Paywalls don't allow you to make the choice you want, just the choice that you can afford. It's a real shame that people make their games this way. In any case, you can with enough skill and patience grind out enough gems to make it through a choice or 2.
