My Media Center

A year or two ago when I first used this so, it worked, but since installing it again and installing the service on my windows 7 media center machine, I am no longer able to select recorded TV to watch or use basic remote functionality. It will list my library content but won't let me play it, so it's not very useful.

But I was under the working assumption we would be getting new features...... That was two years ago. Then i go to use it today and for some reason their stupid authentication method wouldn't work. I'm sorry, I've paid you. I don't need you checking whether I bought the app everytime I use it. I'm a loyal customer to ceton, I bought their 4 tuner card when it just came out. I am/was looking at the 6 tuner card now. But it would be nice if this app had changed some in two years.

Awesome app, but it needs to be able to start and turn off wmc. And would be nice to have a mouse option. I I will absolutely give 5 stars if it had an on/off and or mouse option. Last update caused the app not to see my pc(6-15-2015)

All features work like a charm on my BlackBerry Q10 after manually inputting my computer details. The tune-to and the remote features are great add-ins. If you have any trouble try reinstalling. Overall, this app has completed my HTPC setup to allow me to record mobile. Couldn't be happier.

Fantastic app. I do not even bother checking MediaCenter anymore. I manage everything with this.It's a must have. However make sure you use an older version of the computer software to get all functionality. Newer server version is broken.

I rarely review apps. This is one exception. It is just amazing. The integration of WMCE is pure and effective. Took five min. to setup including the port forward in the router. Amazing it is. Thanks a ton. Well worth the money.

I have a HDHomerun Prime tuner installed on my PC/Network so that I can watch Live TV on my PC and so I could avoid paying a monthly costly set top box fee with Verizon Fios. I have a Window Media Center remote that I have been using with my TV but it's annoying because its an IR remote. I would have to be in line with the IR receiver to get it working. Not to mention I have to waste an usb port to connect the IR receiver. So with that being said I needed an alternative remote that would work via WiFi to avoid both issues that I have with the IR and much needed usb port. I've tried a few other apps that was good but not great. Turns out that this app is exactly what I was looking for. I can use my cell phone/tablet as a remote and view the guide directly on my phone/tablet, surf channels & record tv programs. This app is awesome. Thank you for this app. I only have 1 negative thing to add, it would be nice if other members in my family could use this app without paying a separate payment. Many purchased apps in the play store can now be used and downloaded by other members within your family without paying more because of the fact that their account is different. I think if any app needs to be under a family plan this is one of them.

Will not function. No app for watching live tuner feeds on mobile devices as with SiliconDust tuners.

Works great controls my media center computer and my xbox extenders as well! Wish some functionality features were different but all in all very good. Only thing I would change is add the ability to reboot the media center computer!

If you use media center for record you need this. Alright not need but I use it more often than I thought I would. I've been using it for months on two different devices without any issues.

Recorded tv does not update unless i back out to the screen where i chose the server ..

No longer connects to my PC. Complains about a password I never set. I have no idea where the ceton service on my pc is getting it's ips from. Seems like sorry had been abandoned

This used to work for me but no longer does. Apparently the functionality was broken with the most recent version of the Windows piece that is needed on the HTPC.

We really should be able to stream, at the very least, our recorded content. I was streaming live TV through another app 5 years ago.

Hi, just tried on Android M developer preview and it doesn't work. Just closes.

Horrible application as far as usability goes. Searching rarely works. Doesn't support custom channel lists. Perfect example of doing the least to get by.

Having recently cut the cord and using my Media Center to handle DVR functions, this app is perfect for me to schedule one-off type shows while out and about. Just what I needed.

Doesn't work, says it's not licensed, even tried uninstalling and reinstalling in the play store.

Very slow connecting and getting show information if at all.

Did not realize I had to download more software. Should have read more.

Fantastic app to control/integrate with your CableCard/WMC setup. It's such a shame that Microsoft is ending it's support for WMC.

I was up and running in 15 min. I had to open a port on my router for connecting outside my home but that wasn't hard. All of the features work for me on my phone and tablet.

But it would be nice if it would navigate to music, & videos. Perhaps I'm missing something.
