My Minnesota WIC App
At the grocery store you can:• Select Scan to enable and read UPC barcodes on food items • Select Enter to manually type in UPC or PLU numbers on food items
A message will display to let you know if the food item you scanned or entered is Allowed or Not Allowed. If the food item is allowed, you will verify that the item is listed on your WIC vouchers as part of your WIC benefits.
You can also use the app to download the Minnesota WIC Shopping Guide which contains shopping tips, breastfeeding information and a list of WIC allowed and not allowed foods and ingredients.

This app doesn't work. You can get to the main menu but you cannot get in to see your benefits (current or future), barcode scanner, etc. It just shows 3 loading dots. App is up to date.
This app was amazing until about 2 months ago when I would only get an error code trying to use it. I saw that there was supposed to be an update but apparently that hasn't happened yet. Haven't been able to use this app is 2 months which makes me have to guess what I have or carry around the register recipts with me.
This app is very helpful while shopping. The scanner helps determine whats acceptable or not. However the app often doesn't work and the itemized list doesnt load, showing what your current benefits are.
Its okay and not okay. It would be nice to have a bar code to scan within the app rather than carrying the card around. Sometimes I don't have the card and it's a nuisance to have to go dig for it. Better to have everything in the app so when I'm grocery shopping I can shop comfortably and not have to worry about carry that plastic card.
This app will not work with older phones. I can't afford to get an android phone with version 6.0 or later, so I guess I'm screwed. There's definitely a reason I get WIC. I can barely afford food, let alone have enough money to buy a new phone. I'm using a Galaxy S3 right now and that's as good as I'm going to get unless I mysteriously get a way better/better paying job, by which I probably wouldn't need WIC anymore anyways. I'm sure the app works with NEW phones, but no help to me now.
App doesn't work anymore. Fully updated, strong connection, all logged in...but, it never loads anything. Just 3 blinking dots on the screen forever and then it freezes.
It used to work great, now every time I try and use this app it tells me error code. Been doing this to me for a month now. In order to see my benefits I either have to call my office or I have to buy a banana and use my card first. Very annoyed by this error. Other wise I used to love it when it worked.
Works well for the most part. Freezes sometimes but overall not a bad app. I haven't had many issues with it. It's alot more convenient than the checks.
Update: I uninstalled the app and was able to access the shopping guide. thanks Features don't work. I can't use the shopping guide and the nutritionist didn't have one to give me. I'm referred to the feature in the app but it won't open with my pdf viewer. I'm able to view other pdfs and documents so the issue is within the app itself.
Does not allow users to register. Stuck loading. Does not work after Uninstalling and reinstalling. Does not work with either WIFI or phone internet connection.
App works great all the time. Very convenient and I love the scanning feature to scan food labels if you are unsure if it is wic allowed.
The app worked for about 3 days and then I started getting this Error. 'An error occured when processing request. If the problem persists please call the clinic with reference number :2838'. Very frustrating because now I dont know what I can get or how much.
wont let me register, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, just doesnt work. Disappointing edit: after posting a review they contacted me and asked me to try again at which point it worked and is fantastic
I have tried installing the app a few different times and all it does is say installing and it doesn't give me the option to cancel until it finally stops and gives an error message
I redownloaded the app because I got back on wic and when I try to check my balance it says go to settings and register. I tried that and nowhere in settings does it say register. Now everytime I have to get wic for my daughter I have to call. VERY INCONVENIENT!!
I downloaded this app and can NOT hit the settings button to enter my info!! I try to press it and it brings up the shopping tips info, that is the tab above instead....
app isnt working! keeps telling me it needs to be updated to use but a update isnt available. I deleted the app and re downloaded it but still dont work
new update not compatible with older phones... so, i have to BUY a new phone to use an app that helps me out financially. This is backwards thinking.
when I go to settings to register my card it will not go past that option. I hit the nedt button and the page just sits there. i have uninstalled many times and it still wont work... HELP!!

I like this new card and app. I'm able to see what items I can get and when it expires. I dont have to get 4 gallons of milk at once now. I would like to see an area where i can view my card information; as the cards dont have any identifying information on them.
This new WIC app is amazing! I just complete some articles, they call me and my son's stuff is loaded on to his card. So simple!
I keep trying to register with my household ID number and it wont go any further. I have uninstalled it multiple times. My phone isn't new but its not old either its a Samsung Galaxy S7
Was fine, freezes sometimes. Forced to do an update and now nothing works. Reference number: Error Code.
Very Helpful. I love the scanner tool it helps to see what qualifies and what does not.
Worked great the first month. Now tells me the app needs and update yet there is no update that I can find in the playstore so I cant use it
Had the old version of the app everything work just fine down load the update nothing works nothing but a white screen
Ever since I got wic during covid (since october 2020), I could never log in, I'm uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it keeps coming up that the household ID is not valid. I've checked and re-checked multiple times. It's very frustrating to have to call each month to remember how much formula or baby food I can get for each of my twins since they arent on the same level yet. I've contacted wic and they told me to uninstall and reinstall and no other help..IT JUST DOESNT WORK for me!
