This is a great app. I'm just not too sure of some options after you scan. For example: Own, for keeps. What does that mean? I love that descriptions and images are part of the cataloguing. And if something doesn't scan or there is a problem you can refer immediately to their customer service and get a response within hours.
Excellent App! Years ago I had an app that I liked for cataloging my movies. But it stopped being supported. I've been looking for a while for something to replace it. This app is even better that the other one. I love that it lets me default the group when entering in new movies. And the ability to catalog digital media.
I really do love this app. The only problem I have with it is that when I'm on just the main page of my movies it opens random movies from my list. Also if I back out of the app without fully closing it, it will keep opening the app. Other than that it really is great. I recommend it. Those are very minor inconveniences. I'd really love if the developer would make a video game version of this app. I'd get the premium of that too.
Needed something like this for a long time as I have too many films to count, and I hate the thought of buying doubles of stuff I already own simply because I dont remember I owned it. This app works great for my purpose and being able to use it on my tablet, phone and PC is a godsend. Whenever I have issues with film titles of inaccurate info I just send in corrections and get an email a while later telling me the issue has been resolved. Thanks for the great product and customer service folks!
I love the look and feel of this app! But I cant seem to see where I would sort by genre? I like looking for something to watch based on that filter and then see what I have avalible. UPDATE : giving this a full 5 stars. This app is the first one I have ever paid for and it so worth it! Tech support is super fast and helpful! I scanned and organized 300+ movies in under an hour. Love this app!! Great job! Keep it up!
Excellent app! I appreciate the lifetime subscription vs a monthly, like a lot of the apps out there. And for me, it was well worth the $$. Plus I really like the layout of the app & how easy it is to use. For all the different functions within the app, one would expect a more difficult learning process for operating the app. But it wasn't difficult at all. So if you're OCD like me, & have to keep inventory logs for everything; this is hands down the best app available for your movie inventory.
Great, easy to use app. Great value full version, worth every penny. 50 DVDs in the free version. I love that I can grab my phone while I'm out to check if I already have a dvd before I buy a duplicate, no internet needed. Then to add my new one just scan the barcode and done. Little slow to update new releases unfortunately so if the new one was released that month the barcode may not work and you will have to type the name, could be worse.
I love this app. So helpful when your out shoppinv and can't remember if you already have a film. I would have rated 5 stars, but the app crashed and I had to reinstall it. I had already paid for the pro version, but it couldn't retrieve my purchase. And it said i had to pay (again). So now, i can only list 50 films as I'm not paying again for it ☹
I had been looking for an app to inventory my DVD/Blu Ray collection since I was tired of buying something only to realise that I already had it! My Movies not only does the job but it looks great while doing. It provides plenty of customisation options to optimise the look and feel of your library. Adding titles is simple and customer support are on the ball if you have any issues or need to add titles to their database. Very happy with this app!
Creates a great DVD/Blueray library. Its has been perfect as I am trying to rebuild my collection. The scan function makes it very easy. The only issues are you cannot edit if it was scanned and you cannot input a ISBN number manually and have it find it on the Database. These are minor and it allows me to quickly check while shopping if I have the movie in DVD or if I am thinking of one that I used to have or have on streaming. It has saved me far more money in mistakes than it costs.
This app is awesome. Helped me organize my extensive movie library in no time with the bar code scanner. Only issue I've found with it is that for some reason it skews and distorts the cover pics with the camera or importing the pics from my photo gallery on both my android phone and also with my android tablet. If that wasn't the case this sweet app would get a very strong five stars.
Great app.. I will be honest, I have been playing with several different apps looking for one that suits me best, so I am happy you offer the trial. 50 titles is perfect to get a feel for it. I do wish that there was a way to group specific movies together.. An example would be I have the complete collection of The Fast & The Furious DVDs, but were bought seperate.. It would be nice to group them somehow. Thank you for your time. I will be buying this app soon. :)
I have my entire collection in here. The only down side is the log 4k, I have to buy a new version. I no longer find myself buying duplicates. I also like the custom categories, so I can filter. There is one hitch with the categories, in that the filter does an OR instead of an AND. Overall, I love it.
Best movie catalogging app I've ever used! The ability to add missing titles & the rapid response from the My Movies team to approve your entries is a huge plus. Want to mess with it more before wintry out the beta version of my movies 3. 100% recommended to anybody trying to catalog their collection. Upgrading to unlimited is totally worth it.
This used to be brilliant, but bugs don't always get fixed and then they release a new version - could only enter one episode at a time for seasons, couldn't add across different platforms - had to resync my catalog on more than one occasion for no reason just the app keep saying had to resync, if switch phone you have to resysnc as can't back up locally - searching for titles did not always work - would have probably upgraded to a newer version but exisiting users are currently charged same as new users (even though it says special offer for existing users) and if they sort out older bugs first which they don't always as had similar issues with the windows store version
I was a little disappointed that the free app only allows you to log 50 films. I paid for the unlimited version and it's great. My only gripe would probably be that at about $11 CAD the price maybe a little too high for an app that allows you to scan and log all your dvds & blu-rays.
App is ok. Could have better searching capabilities like if I search for Pokemon it requires me to put in the accented e which is not typable. Also support is not coordinated at all. One rep will ask for resubmit with certain info then when I do, it is declined by someone else who wasn't even involved. Not worth the hassle to update their database even though we're the ones doing all the work. Literally a simple Google/Amazon search will prove a title exists but that's apparently not good enough
My fave archive app for film, though not as visually striking as it was in earlier incarnations - what happened to the cover flow display option? Only other gripe: the Metro-style Windows edition hasn't been updated since Win8. I use both; it could stand some freshening.
Installed and gave it a go. The layout and functionality is good and the idea is sound, but within 10mins of scanning a few blurays to test it, the app opened four times whilst on other apps for no given reason. Have had to uninstlled until this is fixed, bit of a shame. Used on galaxy s9.
This app is very reasonably priced for its features (CLZ is twice the cost). There are features I'm still learning to use and some I've requested. The "watched" and "rented" categories seem unnecessary. It would help to be able to add my mom's small collection under her name so that I know which movies are in her cabinet compared to in my collection case. Otherwise I might forget I don't have the movie with me. Also, I bought the upgrade, but it still has as a purchase in the store.
