Too many forced ads (especially during free time) and long ads! The game is fun, but far too buggy. Right now the gallery levels won't work for me; it says to go to the previous floor and finish it, but there is no way to do that - the game fully freezes. I also often encounter bugs with ads. I find myself unwilling to spend money in this game because it's a frustrating experience I don't want to reward or invest in. However, the idea is fun enough that I return to play for free sometimes.
VERY slow pace, ads every other life you lose. Played this for a reward in another game, and it took way too long. It's not the worst game I've ever played, but the ads were annoying and too frequent (I get it's a free game, but popups every other life is a bit much), you can't disable gameplay help, and when playing, sometimes the music stops and takes a while to start again, so it's just awkward silence. If you don't mind these things, I would say give the game a try. Not terrible; just meh
I really like the game, and the fact that you can double your coins every game, but the ads are ridiculous. I understand why ads need to be there, but a 30 second, unskippable ad after every 2 games is excessive. If I just want to play a bit before bed I spend twice as much time watching ads than I do actually playing the game. I'm not thrilled that the most recent update took away the free daily spin. That's the only way go get the power ups which are required to beat some of the hard levels.
Have won the same level 2x, immediately after app crashes. Very frustrating! Brings me right back to the same level. When it crashes it also closes other apps I had open in background. More trouble than it's worth. Also, ads, ads, ads and much of the time after an ad the app crashes. Lot's of other similar games out there that run more smoothly.
this is a fun game that i wouldn't mind continuing to play. The problem in it isn't the ads the problem is the ads are at times scam products and they make the app behave strangely with the game getting distorted after some ads. The ads have also starting popping up on my phone at random times when the game isn't open at all. I could be in the middle of a text message and an ad will pop up and run. Very concerning and aggravating.
It seems free but isn't... The levels become too challenging where you need to use boosters and more than one life to win a level. They designed the game where you have to make a game purchase in order to move forward. I'm very disappointed because the graphics and idea of the game is great... I am going to be removing this app from my phone. It's clear they only want your money by how high they price most of the boosters and make it difficult to earn them for free in the game.
I can forgive the complete lack of understanding as to how museums and archeology work, but this game just doesn't feel good to play. There's a weird delay between input and reaction, and sometimes it feels like I can't grab the piece I want even when clicking directly in the middle of it. The art is passable and music inoffensive at best. Further minus points for sometimes playing a loud ad when clicking on replay stage. For match three games there are many better options.
Boring, not enough content..I get it is supposed to be challenging but it asks you, for example, to collect 40 of something and 40 do not even drop in the playing field. If you do win a level there is very little content for it, maybe one or 2 sentences about the story. Overall boring, impossible levels..there are better match 3 games. The "challenge" does not make me want to spend money, it makes me want to delete
This game is way too hard. I understand wanting to create a challenging puzzle game, but this is too far. Having to use up all of your 5 hearts to complete just one level and sometimes even more hearts than that is simply no fun. Its frustrating. And getting bombarded with ads is no fun either. I know you still need to make money with your free to olay games but this is just ridiculous.
ANOTHER match three game with convoluted ways to not advance the plot. The characters can't even put the head of a statue on correctly the first time so you have to play two more levels?! How stupid are they?! If you REALLY like match three games, then this is one of them and it can pass if you don't mind nearly impossible levels that you have to play over and over again AND have the patience to watch an advertisement every other play whether you want to or not.
I usually love this game but getting bored, is there ever gonna be another update?? I've gone as far as I can with the paintings and there hasn't been an update for almost 6 months. Also agree it takes too many stars to do small things. One other thing is when you earn unlimited lives for a short period of time, you then need to click through the charters talking before you can play next level which wipes off a minute or so!
This game does not stand out from any other match 3 game in fact its the worst one I've played. If you are playing to get a reward for a different game then don't bother because it's ridiculously difficult... You can't see where the statues are that you need to uncover and it's one boring uncover statue level after another. It kind of lags as well like when you match something any follow on matches freeze and do not match straight away which looks stupid and the game doesn't flow. The offer expects me to get to level 50 but I can't even get to level 20 cos of the rubbish graphics finding statue thing. I've played loads of match 3 games and this one is horrible. If they fixed it so that you could see what area you need to be focusing on and made it a bit more easier because you get stuck too soon before you even get into the game obviously trying to get you to buy the boosters. also be careful because I was trying to close the gane and nearly spent 90 pounds cos that's the way they have designed it so be careful. It might be more playable if they stopped stacking the same type of levels like 10 levels of finding statues in a row. I'm uninstalling
I wanted to love this game, I really did. the story is interesting and the animation is good... but it is painfully obviously that the developer's intent is to get you to buy lives and boosts after just a few levels. You cant get past some of the first 20 levels without using all 5 lives (and that never increases, always just 5), and once your lives are gone, it takes hours for them to refill. It is more annoying than fun (and no, it's not "challenging", it's irritating and people will quit).
$$$$$$ the goal is to have you spend as much money as possible. Have to be honest, the game csn be addictive and fun, but be careful. Even if you clearly have more moves left the round will be over in an attempt for you to use coines to play through... (how can you play through if you're out of moves) or lose the progress you made to start a new round.
Sadly, l am leaving this game. lt's not bad in and of itself, if you don't mind not progressing. l thought I'd enjoy creating a museum, but the process you go through to earn the ability to do museum tasks are beyond the realm of excessively difficult. l don't enjoy a game that's so easy you can breeze though it. l want something to challenge me, but when l spend 16 lives on one match 3 type game and still don't conquer it, something is wrong with the game. Challenging not lmpossible.
I liked the game itself but I'm deleting it because I am so sick of the constant ads this app triggers. Ever since downloading it, i am constantly bombarded with ads that interrupt everything I'm doing, even if I don't even have the app open or running. Ads pop up constantly, even while just taking pictures or sending texts. In fact, while writing this review I was interrupted by ads 6 times. No game will ever be worth the irritation of my phone being completely ruined by this.
I would've given this game 5 stars because I love this game. However, I'm now debating if I should've given it less than 3 stars. I never play games, but really liked this one. It helped me relax and it was fun. However, once I reached a certain level, and spent more money than I'd EVER spend on a game, the game quit working. It kept saying I had no internet connection (even when I did) and wouldn't connect at all. It caused me to lose my dinosaurs that I spent more time getting than I'd like to admit. Not to mention ACTUAL money. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. I have uninstalled the app and I just now reinstalled it to see if that resolves the issue. If I lost my progress, I will NOT spend another cent and I'll find something else to play. *Update* I reinstalled the app. I did not lose my progress, however it still has the internet connection problem. It's so bad that you can't play the game at all. I'm done playing this game. It's SO FRUSTRATING!!!
Build up your museum with each match game you win. Unlock more match games the further you get. Seasonal and special events let you earn items and special skins for your artifacts in the museum. It also gives facts about the objects you collect, so educational, but not in an overbearing sort of way. You can always fast forward through that if your not interested. The match games get more challenging as you progress. Fun way to unwind. Happy museum making!
the pacing is unbelievably slow. ads everywhere. unable to skip the storyline/animation, which again, takes such a long time to finish. also, considering the levels progress in difficulty rather quickly, having 1 heart regen every 30 minutes takes way too long and ultimately it's far too easy to lose interest if you have to keep putting down your phone to wait for regens.
Intrusive ad videos keep popping up without being able to close it unless I forcibly exit the game. Sure we got coin rewards out of it but without having the option not to watch it is very, very annoying. Other than that, the gameplay is very familiar, storytelling is good, but a little slow
Updated on 11\28 again did not receive prize for being on leaderboard and this is second time from last three attempts. going to have to downgrade my rating. Please fix this issue. had no response from developers to previous post either. Did not receive prizes for finishing in first on leaderboard on the one that finished Wednesday night. The tech support button does not work either. Other than those two issues I love this game.
1 Star! the adds are absolutely ridiculous! The rewards aren't there after claiming! Example: I was just rewarded 30 minutes of free play now the app will not function after opening! Garbage, pure garbage!!!! Game also designed to give unbeatable odds until most lives are consumed or level has been played several times! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
This is a great idea and would be great fun except the fine line between a challenge and a frustration was crossed. I want to encourage young people to play these types of games verses violent graphic garbage but when the developer has not given a route of less frustration it is rough. This has the ability to be a great app.
It is very difficult to get ahead in this game and complete tasks. To begin with, the 'no more moves' pop up window appears when there are still moves left to complete; it appears so suddenly that quite a few times I accidentally pressed the 900 coins button and lost quite a lot of money without even wanting to! There should be an 'are you sure option'; the 'spin for video' button jams and the whole game jams; the 'double your coins' option jams too and I lost money. I will be uninstalling soon!
I started this game as a way to earn diamonds for Wheel of Fortune. I ended up spending many hours-too many lol-playing. The game is very challening; for my skill level and personality it was too challenging. I often became frustrated attempting the same challenge over and over again. The game itself is solid. The story line started good but unless you are really good at this game it moves too slowly for me. Some of the story challenges are silly too, like, grab this. Pretty woman lol.
It's really a great addictive game with good controls, better levels and fantastic conversations between friends and others. but my only complaint is, while to get free coins by watching videos, I can't get it out. I tried it lot of times. Please make it giving free coins in the bank.. No, the videos are available and i can watch them. But money is not provided indeed...
ETA - 4 mo later. Redownloaded game. Problem still occurs. Uninstalled game. Great game. I like it much better than certain other match 3 games. But it's become unplayable after a recent event - every time I start the game it starts replaying every cutscene from the event, and I dont have the patience to spend 8 minutes doing that every time I open the game. I literally cant even get to a point where I can talk to the support in game, so..... if you see this, please fix it.
