Very smooth running app! Quick start up and responsive. Picture quality is second to none. Should have bought a membership a long time ago. The fishing viewing options are almost overwhelming!
Honestly best app ever. Especially when there is nothing to do around work i can sit back an watch some hunting videos/fishing shows.
I love bass fishing and I'm known as "Queen of the Lakes". MyOutdoorTV keeps me updated, Fresh, and I get to see ALL my favorite Anglers I grew up watching. The "Quality" Programming is amazing. Consider this channel for everything OUTDOORS you LOVE!!!
The shows are awesome and the price is fair. However, I have experienced trouble with my Chromecast. At times, at random, I won't be able fast forward or rewind....it just doesn't communicate. To fix that I attempted mirroring my screen, and it wouldn't mirror. Other than little things like that, there is alot of great content for a fair price. I got rid of Netflix and got this.
Love that this app exists, amazing content. My only problem is with the way the app itself works. It constantly freezes while my show is playing. And it doesn't play the next episode on its own, it plays the first episode of the show next everytime, or another random show entirely. So I have to manually select the next episode I want to watch everytime.
This app is a welcome addition to my entertainment options. The reason for stars being deducted is lack of compatibility. The application is not compatible with Android TV, Sony smart TVs, or PS4. I contacted the developer and they have no plans to make the minor tweaks needed to remedy these gaping holes in their market base. This unfortunately leads to me having to use my phone to cast the video to my tv when I would prefer to save my device battery and utilize a native application.
Not sure what has gone wrong with this app.? Recently I have experienced the application force closing and the episodes will not play in succession. I have emailed the developer and stated my plans to cancel my subscription if it isn't fixed soon. The content is phenomenal but if you are new and thinking of buying in, I would wait until the bug is squashed!
I'm sorry to say I wouldn't pay a penny for this subscription. DOS had a more friendly UI in when the Soviet Union was still a thing. The TV app refuses to play a single episode the whole way through without freezing the TV and sending it into a boot cycle. And the phone app wouldn't even open. And for some entire seasons of shows an error message of 'unauthorized' prevents you from watching. I'm a big fan of a lot of these shows, I hope it gets fixed, but this is terrible.
This app has great potential but it is the most glitchy app I have ever used. Constantly tells me to sign up for a free trial when I am logged in and have paid for membership. It also won't allow me to be logged in on my phone as well as my android box. The episodes don't play continuously, instead it's random. Constantly crashes and kicks me out. I am cancelling my subscription as it causes me more frustration then enjoyment. Too bad really.
This app is GARBAGE. Experienced so many technical problems across all my devices. Downloads never worked right, fast forward/rewind bugs, search engine didn't work properly, shows couldn't be located, extremely slow, took up a massive amount of space and many other annoying things. And that's not the worst part. The tech support is worthless and rude! As a streaming app MOTV is awful and it's sad b/c the content is amazing but the app is trash. it's not my devices ! They are all new/updated..
Great content, unfortunately like everyone else I cannot see any of it due to the app constantly crashing, also stops mid episodes just to start it again or start playing a different episode completely. Going to unsubscribe until I see that this issue has been fixed. Told to clear data by support team, does nothing cant even get into the app. Please sort it out
It's a great app, but needs some tweaks. It doesn't always display which episodes have been viewed. You'll be watching one particular show and the autoplay will randomly select a different show all together. When streaming to Chromecast, it'll play then randomly restart the episode at the time stamp that you started streaming at (not sure if this is an internet speed issue as I am on rural internet), it's weird that it restarts rather than pauses to buffer though...
Great content. App is garbage. No need to go into full details because all the other bad reviews are spot on. Chromecast starts the shows over frequently and the app crashes on a regular basis. Not to mention the poor layout of the app. Was excited about trying this but now know I won't be paying for it.
Great if u don't cast from device. If u do the constant restart of episodes is gonna happen. If the episode actually plays all the way through then buckle up to rewind to an episode u have already watched. Frustrating and annoying. With all the streaming technology out there this should be an easy fix/patch for a developer. I sent in a trouble ticket and never got a response.
Great service. Love the shows. App needs to take some notes from other popular apps. i.e: I wish it would play episodes in order. If you start a show and play an episode, it jumps to another random episode from a series you've started rather than the one you're watching. Its frustrating having to play each episode manually.
The shows are good but the app is hot garbage and is constantly buffering. Edit. 8 days later and still doing it I've uninstalled and installed multiple times and it just does it over and over. The $99 annual subscription is not worth it with an app that doesn't even work.
This is the first and only review Ive ever left on anything. I used the app on XBOX & enjoyed the free content. So I downloaded it on my phone and paid for a year subscription ($98?..I pay less for Netflix..come on guys..) Almost immediately upon buying the subscription the app stopped working. Closes abruptly and wouldnt open. Tried reinstalling it. Nothing. Update: new update in the app seems to work. Prompt reply from the company. 4/5 for the cost and initial failure to work.

This app updated and lost my subscription. When I try to watch a show it will tell me I need a subscription, I have a subscription, and my subscription has been cancelled. Three different messages saying 3 different things. It's not hard to do pre-release testing, this is a problem that never should happen.
Update 08Oct Won't open because it says I need to check my internet conx- which has no issues as proven by the fact that others worked before, during, & after MOTV's launch failures. Reinstall fixed nothing. 30Sep Good... When it works. So-so UI, both pauses & resets shows at random, has intermittent app freezing issues, & all problems are more common while casting. Not exactly what I'd expect for an app/access that costs more than/as much as Prime, Hulu, etc
I downloaded this app for my fire stick and my roku. The app was slow and very unresponsive. When I selected a show every single time it would kick me out of the app back to the home screen of the device. I downloaded the app on my phone to mirror to the television and they won't recognize the email address I used for my free trial but they were sure to get my $11 even though I never watched a single show. And of course they have a no refund policy, they are just crooks.
Other than it not playing other videos right after another one it's a great app
All your favorite hunting and fishing shows one click away. Cant cast to TV no picture just sound. Also when using the search option you find a episode and click on it it only has that episode on the page at the bottom it says recommended for you its nothing to do with what your watching it should have the rest of that season on so when your done you can watch the next episode instead of having to search for each one. i hope i explained it right
the app on its own is great. good selection of shows. My reason I canceled subscription is google play charged me two months and I was not able to access the app. When I did log onto the app it said i was not a premium subscriber (even though I was being charged as one. also the refund policy is not favorable to the consumer. buyer beware if you experience diffaculty with access you must come to terms with wasting your money on a service you can not use.
Terrible service to try to cancel. Have to jump through hoops to do it. Won't let you cancel from your app you have to use the website. Once on website it says you have to do it from your device. I want to cancel and save the money I'm spending and it will not let me. App doesn't work with some brands of tv so I can't even watch it on my new tv. Laggy and hard to use. Crashes.
This is my first app store purchase, 🤯💕 freakin love it! I'd cut cable TV years ago, and I'm getting to the point I can't stand regular TV, the view points, personalitys, propaganda 🤮. This allows me to watch what I actually want to see, when and where I want. No complaints about that, so much great content, it'll take awhile to see it all
