Best app for serious learners. Works with various languages. Allows to count and grasp learning curve easily. Some room for improvement in the ux and settings of the games. I was doing everything this app does but with a pen and many sheets. Took some weeks to move my learning workflow to wordtheme but it's worthy. Huge potential.
I couldn't be happier with this wonderful app. The adds are teensy tiny and they don't interrupt your use AT ALL. The format is easy to use and really intuitive. Made my own conlang over the last two years; couldn't have done it so easily without this app. I really love the flashcard feature and the fact that I can backup my language as an excel sheet AND a WordTheme file and that I can share them easily with anybody else. DON'T CHANGE A THING! It's perfect just how it is!
Pretty useful app to write down new words. *But you really need to improve dark theme. It looks not as good as white Upd: For example, those white rounded borders don't look so good, at least for me. Like I'm using an app from 2013. Look at "Material Design" style examples (buttons, to be exact), it may help to improve dark theme a lot. Also icons and labels are dark, it's uncomfortable for eyes to see. Wish the best, and I'm waiting for the further updates :Π· Forgot English, sorry for mistakes
Its realy useful up ONLY for people who know English on pre-intermediate, or intermediate , and better. Its because this app ,not user+friendly AT ALL, but its also cool. Yeah, you have to add new words, transletions, audio, images , categories(for me enough only transletions, and categories), and its cool, its just dictionary, your OWN dictionary with ownrules. P.S Also in this app there are some interesting games for training Englis skills. P.S(2) Pls , add auto readder words, thats real <3
I think the apps is great, plus I love the fact that you can add words you don't know on the spot, without the app demanding for their meaning like other apps do. Please please please add a direct dictionary. so we can just click on the words later for their meaning without ever leaving the app. Readers love to keep reading and then search for the meaning of words later.
Amazing app for keeping up with the new words that you learn (for those who are philomaths like me) and also a great way to study the terminology of a certain subjects; key cards and everything. I just wish it was much simpler to add new words to your dictionary.
Great app! Using it for my conlang! I'd just like to add that I'd be nice if I could manually sort words. So far I can only choose the criteria by which they are sorted, but can't do it manually which would be nice! Thanks!
This app was made by God himself. So many great options that are completely free to use with amazing design. Fonts, themes, sub-themes, examples, backup, not only on Google drive but also on your phone as a xls file. 10/10
Great app but I wasn't able to get all my vocabulary when I changed phones, even though I saved the newest vocabulary on my old phone on google drive, only an older version was transferred to my new one
EGGcelente. La amo. Es super ΓΊtil Edit: it's a bit of a drag that NOW the crosswords puzzle is only available in the *sigh* pro version, but not gonna lie, it's still the best one I know.
Just amazing π₯π₯βββπππ What an easy way to learn, test and practice English words offline or online. Very easy to use. Highly recommend.
Appears to be the perfect app to learn new vocabulary if you are trying to learn a new language. It helps a lot, bravo
Epic, this is very useful for creating dictionaries. The export and backup features are the best
It is the best app to make own dictionary and even it also provides more features like games which is very useful to learn or remember words.
This app has everything, from a well designed dictionary that can include examples, images and more, to built in memory-games that use integrated text-to-speech as well. This is honestly incredible for a free app
Amazing π! The best ever! It's what I was looking for. However, I request the developer(s) to add a LOCK so that we can lock our contents (which are so for done) from easy access to editing or deleting
You have to fight the voices to actually say what your pronunciation says. And the voices are not consistent and have their own mistakes, so you basically can't switch voices. Also, I want the voices a lot faster.
It is very, very useful application. And user-friendly, too. It's my top for learning English
It is very useful for learning new words, you can create your topics and add any words you want, then practice them. Sometimes I have a problem with it, while choosing topics that I want to practice, I can't change my option of 2nd topic in the list, like it's a bug or something, restarting the app helps. Also it's not always comfortable to use the keyborard of the app, and it'd be better if you could enter the word again if it wasn't correct without seeing the correct answer.
Overall, this application is very useful for learning and keeping new words in your mind. But I'd prefer to generalize search option on all dics and to not limit it on one dictionary only. I believe this is the most important update at least for now to boost the efficiency of the application . Another point, when I click on the word on the notification bar, it opens the application interface and not the word details. I think it would be better if the notifications open on the details of word.
The app seems to work well. However, for my particular use (con-lang) one point of frustration is that the only way I seem to be able to see the attatched images is to open the details page for a specific word. It would be nice to have the options to make details visible in the search results and the word lists. Using the app would be much more efficient (for me at least)
Very useful for learning English! I was looking exactly for an app like this. You are literally creating your own dictionary. You can divide the words in different topics. You can also add details for the words such as examples, definition, pronunciation, conjugation, etc. You can also revise the words with different games, for example with flash cards. It is amazing! I highly recommend this app! It is completely free and no annoying adds.
Great app for exercising vocabulary. It organizes words in themes and allows you to select which ones to revise β with a variety of games and exercises that make you focus on the different aspects of learning vocabulary (spelling, pronunciation, and so on). Uses spaced repetition, which is a big pro for me! Back-up feature also is a huge thumb up.
great app! One feature that would take it from great to fantastic is if when you type in a word, the app would search for options online and suggest words and possible meanings. To get a better understanding of what I mean, check out the app called MyLexicon. It has this feature, but lacks many of the other features which makes your app the superior choice.
Update (October 10, 2018): After using it for some more time, I started liking the app more. I still wish to get missing features suggested in my older comment. Update (October 6, 2018) : Thanks for listening to your customers. I think that I was bit harsh. Now I feel that in many ways interface is good considering the number of features supported by the app. But I mentioned the features I felt useful. Many times we would like to color many words together. For example I mark all the words which I do not remember as red. About building new themes by swapping words and translation, it is useful when we are trying to learn new languages. For example, I have some themes for English to Korean translations. I would like to create new Korean to English themes by swapping all the words of "English to Korean" themes. Old comment : ------------------------ Good idea but poorly designed interface. 1. There should be a faster way to color words. 2. There should be a way to sort and filter words with colors. 3. A way to build more dictionary or themes based on existing ones quickly. For example, creating a theme by swapping words and translations of all the words in an existing theme. 4. Addition of a new word should be easier with less clicks. In general, overall app gives a feeling of slowness. Most of the things should be done with less clicks.
Could need some more featureful revision games. For example, one where you can use the entire keyboard. It's easy to understand that the two letters "i" and "h" make "hi" and not "ih". My only advice is that you should make the games harder. Other than that, it's really good. If you're weird enough to be developing your own language, or maybe you're learning Latin, then this app is for you.
Very good app to memorize your foreign vocabulary. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't missing those features: 1) There should be an option to reverse the words in the revision games, i.e.: for a list of English words translated to Spanish, being given the Spanish words and guessing the English ones. 2) Given the above feature, having the responses spoken in Spanish to make sure I remember the words as well as the way to pronounce them.
