When you add a new place you will automatically be given your current location. Once your location is returned it is advisable to turn off the GPS scanner to preserve battery power and prevent the address from changing. All addresses can be edited in case of imprecise results.
Every place you save can be viewed on a map with directions to get there and you won't be limited by postal addresses. Discover a river in the mountains and save that too. Your coordinates are kept so you'll have no problems returning to any point on Earth!
