My Pocket Galaxy - 3D Gravity Sandbox

If you had the power, how would you create the solar system? What would be the size of each planet or star? And how would you place them in orbit? If you are interested in Astronomy and looking for a powerful yet easy to use 3 dimensional space sand box app to create and simulate a whole new galaxy with realistic physics rules, then you’ve come to the right place. My Pocket Galaxy, the 3D sand box game, provides you the ultimate power to explore the infinite space and simulate your own space full of different planets, gas giants, and stars.
In this gravity simulator app, you get to customize literally any aspect of these particles to simulate and design your very own solar system in this sand box. Once you are satisfied with your customized solar system (or any other combination of particles, planets, and stars), you get to easily add it to your collection, take a screenshot and share it with the world.
The game comes with a clean and neat design and the 3D simulation is so smooth that you won’t feel any difficulties or lags when bombarding your planets, or applying any condition to them. And make sure not to take the realistic gravity lensing effect as granted when looking at a black hole. It’s just fascinating.

Is this Orbit Sandbox Easy to Use?
Is this 3D galaxy sand box with realistic physics simulation powerful enough to create and design different planets, gas giants and stars? The answer is a BIG yes! But are the simulation tools easy to use? The answer is even a BIGGER yes! The user interface is so friendly, that you’ll get used to it after going through the step-by-step tutorial and trying available tools for a few times. After that, you just need to use your imagination and be creative to form some unique pocket galaxies with gravity simulator based on physics rules. If you are going to redesign our lovely solar system in our galaxy, you’ll have access to all the planets (mars, moon, earth, mercury etc …) and you have the power to unlock new worlds by meeting the right conditions, colliding with the right objects, and altering mass and sea level while keeping the temperature stable. To smash stuff together and create new planets, make sure to crash the right ones together.
Tip: To raise the sea level, hit a planet with ice meteors, and use rock meteors to lower the sea level.

Awesome game, though there are several ways it could be a bit better, if it had graphics like solar smash and editing tools like universe sandbox, whilst keeping all of its features, it could be the best space sandbox ever, it would also be cool if you could visit universes made by other people and save their planets so you could copy them in your own universes. But without all that, the game is still incredibly fun and I could never get bored, would definately reccomend

It is amazing! The graphics and physics are very well. It's not the best thing but is still good! It also can sometimes act weird when simulating physics and I have some personal issues with this game but besides that, it's great and I definitely recommend this game!

So it is good but I really want a way To see what life would look like and I want to also have it so you can make custom continents and islands but overall it is a good game it the best one I have got the money is worth it and I just want to say thank you to pocket labs! You are the best and I am happy to say that you are the best!

Best game but can you make it more realistic like when something explodes or a comet or astroid hits something the explosion doesn't stay in place instead it moves around with the rotation of the planet but anyways nice game

A pretty good planet sandbox. Nice little surprises with planetary interactions. Easy to navigate

I tried it but this is weird it did not do what it is supposed to do and you need to make the planets like the free pocket galaxy but it is still very nice can you fix it

Super excited to see a recent update! One of my most used apps for years! Unparalleled in content and quality!

Amazing game!! Love watching my little solar systems develop life then watching the randomness of the universe destroy it!

Perfect game! The only thing I have a issue with is when life makes satellites, I think they should colonize plantets

Fun app. Great graphics. Unsolicited feedback: The zoom functions are glitchy and it's often too easy to add an accidental celestial body. Haven't quite cracked how to add a moon to orbit a planet which is orbiting a star without it's path just being gobbled up by the gravity of the star itself. It feels like of I could zoom out enough and give each body some space with a little room to capture that may work. But to my initial point, the zoom functions are making that nearly impossible.

Cool but you could fix earth because for some reason earth can't make proper life only cells do you mind fixing that? Thank you! :)

The game is very good overall. What I think could use some improvement is the stuff involved in putting a planet into an orbit. It is hard to do, as you can't really tell how the orbit will look like, especially whenever you want to put it into a specific orbit, or a specific area (like keeping it in a habitable zone). The game should really try and show you what the orbit looks like when you are placing it, rather than just show a trajectory. Hope you can improve on this!

The rating thing asked if this was a shooting gallery game and I wanted to say yes. You're just shooting with planets here, that's all! Seriously though, not a bad game. Works well, has a nice fluid feel and navigation to it. Needs much longer trails to show where planets will go. Also needs a delete mode(not just select & delete) to go with placement mode. Would benefit immensely from an undo button for at least the last action. Still a good game though. Been playing it for years, off & on.

Great fun solar system builder, but seems a little difficult to get to grips with. Tutorial is very short but a great game when you get used to it. 4 stars due to short tutorials. Would be good to be able to click on the planets and see some stats, also some indication of where the "goldilocks zone" is for each star. Edited: left a review as was prompted in game to do so to unlock planet Earth. Have left review but no way to retrieve Earth??

This is a really fun game, a great way to pass the time, especially if you're feeling creative. only probably is when I try to toggle through different colors and other options while making and changing a planet, I often find the buttons unresponsive so I have to continuously tap the buttons until something happens.

Love the game, and our children love it too. Could you maybe add pulsars, and accretion discs around black holes? It'd be awesome to see Goldilocks zones for both of these. It would also be great if we could zoom out much more than now so we could set up distant orbits and asteroid belts etc. Thanks again for an amazing game, and a great learning tool for our children. This game is incredible, and has immense potential for future development. Excited to see what's next!!!

Great alternative to universe sandbox. The biggest issue I have is orbits. It is very hard to orbit planets outside the hatiable zone. A great feature to fix this is auto orbit. In the planet settings menu add a auto orbit option to orbit in a perfect circle. Another issue is the limited planet customisation options. Add it so you can customise colours and size in the edit options and more. It will be cool if you can also save those custom objects. Also add more real stars and planets and moons.

A great game on the go,a more low budget version of the PC versions but it's good, though,I thought that buying the premium game would give you everything without doing the challenges but I was wrong,3 dollars wasted, and the mechanics are wonky, like you have to "aim" your planet, crashing planets together lags alot, making life is very hard, other than all that,it's a good pocket game!😕

It's A great game, I have 2 complaints. It's to hard to make a planet stay in orbit. Like when I put a planet in the green zone it just goes into the red zone. Make a setting so the planet's will always snap to orbit. Also I think there should be hints to the achievements. Also I wish that you guys added more planets.

I don't get it. Someone tell me the secret formula to creating the rare planet capable of prolonged life and evolution because apparently just circling in the green ring of revolution doesn't cut it. Otherwise all you do in this game is create and destroy a multitude of uninhabitable planets. It gets boring very quickly despite the attractive graphics and smooth gameplay.

Really fun to play around with, almost endless possibilities and can easily potter about for far too long tinkering with stuff on this game. However, I'd personally like to see civilisations develop to a point that they colonise other orbiting bodies, mine asteroids or deflect asteroid collisions with their own planet, and possibly interact with other civilisations in the same system. At this point they should also become resilient to smaller orbit changes.

I actually love this game. I rarely spend any money on games but this game was 100% worth the money and I find it to be a very fun & interesting game. Trying to keep your planets in a safe zone to have life is super interesting. I'd really love to see more done with the civilizations that form like them actually colonizing other planets. 4.9 out of 5 I'd give it only tiny complaint is controls but there even not that bad but could be more user friendly.

Law. 8. Mar 27, 2019

gameplay is pretty freaking sweet! smash things! create life, end life. the controls will take a little bit of getting used to. they're very complicated. and the realism for the distance and trajectory are extreme. so don't get mad at that. i did until i realized it.
