My Prepaid Center

My experience with this app has been pretty horrible. In order to "use" the card in a store you've got to have apple pay...otherwise you're struck like me. After setting up an account, adding the cars to the account, adding a pin to the card and 2 phone calls to customer support, it STILL WON'T. The app is useless pointless AND stupid...not to mention that I'm out 125 bucks. Thanks for nothing.

Maybe this app is good, but I guess we'll never know since it never finishes installing. The install seems fine up until 92% installed. At that point it just stops and doesn't move/finish. So frustrating. You can still enter the card info manually into your mobile wallet such as Google pay, that was the way I worked around this MAJOR problem. Now that I've done that, I thankfully have no use for this garbage app anyway!

Absolutely USELESS! I have been trying for over a week now to add my virtual egift to this worthless app but all I get for my trouble is "unable to activate your card at this time, try again later." The thing is, the card is already activated and has been used...Maybe if there was a "view activity" button as an alternative to the "Activate" button, it wouldn't keep dead ending me. When I went to the website it said click the link in the email then "add to wallet"...also a NO GO!

This app works as designed; however, end user experience is not the most straightforward: Users are sent a link via text from a web browser User downloads app User is told to follow the same steps they completed to get link sent via text, but fails to inform the user that they MUST do this FROM THEIR MOBILE DEVICE'S BROWSER Once they get that part figured out, the app works as described and pictured However, there is no confirmation message when the card has been linked to a wallet successfully

App does not work. I followed directions and got stuck in a loop to download the app and go to the website and select "add to wallet" which then sends another text message with a link to download the app which I already downloaded. The process is broken.

Told me to visit the site where I got my prepaid card and then indicate that I wanted things added to my wallet. The only thing following the instructions did is repeatedly send me a link to download the app and repeat the process. I took an image of my virtual card and bought myself an Amazon gift card -- way easier. Don't waste your time with this app

Updated Review: seems to have worked in adding the card to Google pay.. the trick is, you do not launch the app here by itself.. what happens is, you enable NFC on your phone and then, after retrieving the credit card number by logging in, in my case following an email link, when you try to add the card from that link, this app launches and then it immediately spins to another page allowing you to add the card- I did verify that it is in fact added to my Google pay account and is now ready to go

So you got a payout from a class action lawsuit the other dayyy... You go through the hoops to see you have $19 and some cents on your new card. Enough to want, but not enough to be very useful. So you request a plastic card. Not wanting to pay $3 - $23 in fees, you decide against plastic. So you get this app to use it via google pay. If you're lucky enough to have it get further than it's info screen, it then tells you the card isn't able to be used this way. Abysmal.

Deletes card from app a couple days after you view it and extremely difficult to log in online can't remember password, so they give you a digital card number and make it impossible for you to access the number to use it to prevent you from using your money. You download the app and save the card in there to be able to view the card number but 2 weeks later it vanishes and is no longer there and you have to login to website to add it again but get invalid password error, so they make hard to use

Could not have been easier, though I am sure it could have added to Google pay without an extra app. Only wish I could see my card balance without going to website, waiting on security code, etc

There is no app. Click to open and get a page that does absolutely nothing. Nothing interactive. Can't access account. Can't even look through app or move from the one single page that apparently they call an app. Pure hocus pocus mirror tactic to hide that people's payment from a court settlement is being stolen by some marketing company.

They flagged my card as fraudulent before it was ever even activated. I called and was told I had to wait through the fraud process. They never responded. Called back and they said they would send me another virtual card through the email within 24 hours. It's been 3 days. Called back this morning and was supposed to receive a new virtual card through email within the hour and it's been 3 hours. Still nothing. I don't even think this is a legitimate company at this point.

From this app's existence, my use, and others' feedback--this app is clearly a cheap way for companies to pay out what they owe, with the real benefit of many users not collecting. I used this for ONE rebate offer, which was already tricky to claim. The low ratings reflect the unethical practices of the businesses implementing the app, but I don't see how we can take pity on the developer. IIRC, another gift card I used connected directly to google pay, which was perfectly user friendly.

This is the single worst app I have ever used. The process is confusing and convoluted. After downloading, it tells you to go to another website and start the whole process over again. Even when you finish the process, merchants dont understand or accept the cards. Just let me print the card/code and be done with it. Not everything has to be electronic.

Useless app! Once I added my digital gift card, I have to go back to the original email to open it in order to use it. This app doesn't directly send you there, which is pointless. I also can't add the card to Google Pay. It gives me an error.

Not as confusing as others say. Follow app's instructions & it works fine. 1 star because it's useless for my phone, which doesn't support NFC (tech for wireless phone payments). App/emails should have said NFC was required, before wasting my time. Also, NFC isn't required to add a card to Google Pay. I added my card manually, without this app, and it worked. I can now use my card, via Google Pay, without the need for this app. Waste of time.

Not sure what happened to others. I had my card added in under a minute. Open the app, then go to the website where your card is registered and press the "save to wallet" button. The site will look for this app as a way to transform your card and add it to google pay or samsung pay.

Super shady. Was awarded a very small settlement in a class action suite and was directed to use this platform to receive. Beyond garbage. Customer service took over 30 mins on hold, did not know how to navigate their own app, which leads me to believe that the customer service they use is in fact outsourced to a 3rd party. I'd like to know how many times my data was taken throughout that process...

Horrible app. Like others have said it just sends you into a loop. I went online and bought a Walmart card with my prepaid card and a friend use their prepaid card to transfer the balance to her PayPal account. Just some information for people trying to get their money off the prepaid cards.

Confusing written directions but it works: click on "add to wallet" Download and open the app to get set up. (It won't work from there yet). Go back to the link to "add to wallet " again. Now that this is set up it will allow you to add this card to your Google Pay or Samsung pay and can use it in there.

This is absolute garbage. The app doesn't work at all. I agree with the other reviews concluding this exists only to make sure actual money doesn't change hands. I doubt the legal team had their funds dispersed in this fashion because it's difficult to think of any app more useless or inconvenient. If you've reached this step, don't bother.

Like the rest of the process of getting this virtual card claimed and active in the first place, I'm told I need to download this without further explanation, only for the app itself to take a needlessly long and opaque path to telling me that, never mind, it won't work with my phone setup after all. F every step of this virtual card process and I hope its designers get tinnitus, or something

I would click the button on the website to add to wallet, but it just brings me to the app screen that says go to back to the website to click the same button. I finally realized my Samsung Pay was at the max 10 cards. After I deleted a card, clicking the website button to add to wallet finally worked and the card was added to Samsung Pay. I also have Google Pay installed on my Samsung phone, but this app ignored it. I manually added the card to Google Pay.

I have no idea what this app does. I installed it and all is does is show me a screen that says "Welcome to My Prepaid Center" and does nothing else. I'm using a Pixel 4XL so Android. Some reviews say that this allows the loading of the prepaid card into the cellphone digital wallet. It didn't. I opened Google Pay and scanned the image on my computer screen and manually entered most of the card info. So yeah....what does this app do? Anyway, I got the prepaid card into my wallet manually

This app opens to a page directing me to a website where I should click the add wallet button to add to my mobile wallet. When I go to that site, it opens a link to send me an sms to download the app. It's a worthless loop, and I have no way to use this card in everyday transactions. Worst rebate I've recieved yet.

Cannot use the app because my phone does not support nfc. For other who have issues aside from nfc, you need to click the "add to wallet" from the website where you activated the virtual card, nothing will really happen if you directly open the app.

The app is not working, even i see the option on myprepaidcenter website. ,add to my wallet when i click it my redirects to this app and there another screen comes which says , there was a problem retrieving your card information. This is so pathetic, that the app developers don't even reply to emails or anything. Dude this is so pathetic ...

Very easy. Added 5 cards totalling $80 that were gifted from work. The newer 2.0 version of Google pay doesn't work to add, but takes 5 seconds to download the 1.0 version that does and I'm on a pixel 4a 5G so I know you can. The cards are easily used at NFC locations. All the 1 star reviews probably have their grandkids / kids on speed dial to help them unplug and plug back in their router and how to check their email on the ole' inter-whatsit-web. Learn to read the instructions!

Totally Useless. I was unable to get my card added via this app. I was, however, able to add my card to Google Wallet by manually adding the card in the Wallet app.

Straight up just doesn't work on my phone. Only one screen instructing me to go back to the website, nothing to click, can't swipe, nothing. MyPrepaid is a scam at best and a class action lawsuit waiting to happen at worst.
